Everybody was good and the work was wonderful.
When I spoke to the company they informed me that I would be getting a battery pack, they were going to repair my roof, and give me $500 for going Solar. Now they are saying that they cannot honor that commitment.
The cost of their system is on the high side and the panels are low quality. The power generated is below expectation vis-a-vis the power consumption from the grid. It seems their design is cookie-cutter type and not specifically tailored to a customer's specific needs.
My issues are well documented.

The ease of everything from the beginning of talking to a professional and setting up expectations of what's going to happen. When you're coming into this process as an outsider, they gave a very thorough and useful education. From that, getting into the process, making sure that all the steps are taken care of, the team did a great job at making me feel prepared. The team was on top of everything. That was very good.

We just got the system turned on. However, every single aspect of our experience with Solar Energy World has been positive. I'm a demanding person and I had done so much research that I had *many* questions. Our analyst, Paul, was friendly, helpful, and patient. He answered all of my questions quickly and gladly. He went out of his way to keep me informed and to make me happy/comfortable. Paul and SEW met or exceeded all of my high expectations. By far, the hardest part of my "getting solar" experience was the research. Once I settled on SEW everything was a breeze.
Overall, The solar installation was completed with promptness and good quality according to the terms and details provided in the agreement.
I was given a price for the solar panel outdoor with expectations for my electric bill, but it is not the same pricing, so I think I was misled. Also, the app for the actual solar output. I don't know how to get the app to see what my solar panels are doing. That was never provided for me.

I was promised weekly updates by my analyst. I got weekly updates for approximately four weeks. Then I got no information unless I sent an email request for information. This was initially annoying, but became infuriating as I was sure the Coronavirus pandemic would delay my already delayed install. I signed up in February and didn't receive PTO until last week. It would have been less annoying if the weekly communication I was promised was delivered.
They did a fine job, but it seemed like it took longer than I anticipated. I thought that my solar power would be turned on pretty quickly, but it took a good six weeks before I could even turn on my service. Solar panels were put up in August, and I wasn't able to flip my switch until 48 hours ago, so almost two months. It took a while to get the power company out, and I didn't quite understand all of the wait time.
