The install was fast, clean and right on schedule
The overall process went generally okay. The communication was a bit choppy initially, I had to inform them twice that I had already coordinated with my HOA for approval, and the original drawing had the house's orientation flipped, which did not inspire confidence. Then, the installation coordinator said that it would be a one day job, while the next day the installer lead said that it would be a day and a half. The installation itself was generally okay; there was a minor siding issue, but that the company took care of that (which was appropriate). The post-install coordination with the utility has been generally good, although I did get different answers about when I could turn the system on

The customer service is terrible. They don't work together. One guy will say he will do something and another guy will say something else.

I am pleased with the service and the customer service is great. Paul is great with communication and the transition was seamless. I like that Solar Energy World did all the paperwork on my behalf and so far I am enjoying the results.
Additional Comments - I've always been a fan of renewable energy and our previous home had solar energy so it wasn't a difficult choice to make.
Much of the information and scheduling for the project was provided in writing at the beginning. The organization of the project was great.
Solar Analyst - Josef was great. Easy to talk to. on top of it kept in contact and let me know everything even if there was a 2 day lull in waiting on something to be approved he'd let you know what was going on. Couldn't ask for anyone better

I am likely to recommend Solar Energy World because they did an excellent job explaining my options and helping throughout the entire process. Also, they were quick to get the work done and did a great job with following up.
They were very professional and completed the work on time. The only delays were with permits and that was not their fault.
The delay from site assessment, plan finalization, to permitting and installation was something like five months. My understanding is this was largely the fault of the county permitting office, but that requires active engagement on the part of the installer and sustained networking with county officials to streamline that process.
Its a 5 star company.
These guys and gals know what they are doing. I work in the solar industry and have high standards- they exceeded my expectations every step of the way. My only caveat is that I had to have my roof replaced and used HCR, which is the firm that partners with Solar Energy World - I had a bad experience with HCR and regret that I did not use a different company to replace my roof. But Daren was great in helping to resolve the problems I had with HCR.
Solar Energy gave us a reasonable price for the quality work.
