After talking with three other roofing companies, I decided to go with Smith Roofing and Exteriors—and I couldn’t be happier with my choice!

Chris McBride came out personally, inspected my roof, and clearly explained everything he saw along with my options. He was easy to reach and always quick to respond to questions, which I really appreciated.

On installation day, Rickie and his crew were amazing—professional, friendly, and so careful with my home and landscaping. They worked efficiently and left everything spotless when they were done.

The whole process was smooth and stress-free from start to finish. I confidently give Smith Roofing and Exteriors 5+ stars and highly recommend them to anyone who needs roofing work!

Everyone we dealt with at Smith Roofing was very courteous and professional.

Smith roofing did a great job.

There were some things I was sold and I'm not sure the salesperson was entirely honest, especially when it came to acknowledging the crew being employees and not subs. Also the dumpster was in my driveway longer than expected. There were nails left all over the yard, and one NIGHT I had the gutter crew come and work well past dark. So far no problem with anything installed, but I was not blown away by the execution of the installation. The fix of the roof where the chimney was taken down looks janky at best. No mitre cuts, just rough edges. Job felt hurried at times and disorganized. As for workmanship, not blown away or disappointed, just 16k in the hole financially and will hope there are no issues in the future.

Very clear on expectations and did what they said they were going to do. No unexpected surprises and or cost.

Communication with the project managers for the different projects we had done was really good.

The gentleman (Jordan, I believe) that came for the initial interview was VERY nice, appeared very thorough in his investigation, excellent at explaining and answering our questions. The gentleman (James, I believe) over the installation crew, was on time, & very pleasant. My issues, I guess they can be called, are: (1) there were nails all over the place: yard, driveway, patio, and deck. Kids could have been hurt. Tires could have gotten sharp items in the. (2) pieces of roofing material in gutters came down in gutter spouts during rain/storms. With the big dumpster that was delivered and the tarps around, I didn't expect. (3) Most every person was in a seperate vehicle. Vehicles were on both sides of the street. I did hear them being asked to just park on one side. (4) Roof had at least o1 or 2 places where the shingles didn't seem very professionally done. Couple of places on back don't seem very professionally done. But didn't see until after they were gone. (5) Asked for black, didn't get black. Given a mixture of black & dark gray or something. Was told it may be because black gets hotter and fades more quickly, etc. (6) place(s) on deck where they had ladder & and at least one other place the sealant and covering had been scratched visibly noticeable in 2 at least spots.

First inspector was very honest and knowledgeable.

They were excellent throughout the entire process, from the initial inspection, to making the plan. They showed up on time and did absolutely beautiful work. They were just great to work with.

Thomas was our first point of contact and was so great to work through the consultation and provide a quote to us. Sam oversaw the siding and windows on the house and he was great with communication and staying on top of everything.

The representative was professional and clearly explained the differences between the products they offered. Davis Rhea was also knowledgeable about other products that Smith Roofing did not provide. He described the minimum requirements for my area and explained how the various shingles were rated. This information helped me narrow my options down to 2 products instead of 6.

Quality products. Project manager very knowledgeable and made sure job was done right.

Had a complete replacement of sheathing and roofing materials and the results are just beautiful. Nice smooth, aligned appearance. I just go out and stare at it and marvel at the difference in the appearance of my home. All of this done without any damage to some pretty extensive seasonal plantings. I could have not asked for a more expert job.

We liked everything about Smith Roofing from the initial sales rep Chris M who did an awesome job of presenting the sales pitch to accurately measuring our house. He just made us feel fully confident in the company and we were! The installers did excellent quick work and were safety minded the whole time. You could see their intention was to please the customer and they did. The cleanup afterwards was very meticulous.

This company was great from beginning to end. Jake and Sam were Very knowledgable and helpful through the whole project.

The quality of the workmanship on the installation of our exterior siding and the caulking and painting of it was second to none. A recent contractor I had working on our deck commented that he thought the paint on the siding had been factory applied, that’s how flawless it was. The crews were friendly and efficient and cleaned up after each day.

From Davis to Joseph and all the way through the process, these guys were top-notch. They were very professional, flexible with my schedule, and did amazing work for me.

My wife and I feel like Thomas gave us reasonable price to replace all the old flashing as well as replacing the cap, cleaning and sealing our chimney and a complete roof replacement. Also, we are very pleased with the leadership of project manager Rickie Leinenweaver and his crew who was led by Margrito as they did a magnificent job in one day. We highly recommend Smith Roofing & Exteriors.

Communication was good during the process. It was a very long process to get from the signed contract to the work installation, and we had some bumps along the road that have been mostly remedied.

Thjey did a good job. The price was average, and they had to rework a few things. In the end, it was good, and I was happy with the service.

The roof was excellent. The project manager on the chimney work had poor communication. After a conversation, I decided that I would fix things. I have already spoken with the project manager and tried to provide him feed back, so he knows. The guttering was okay. The downspout was put at the highest part of the gutter, so the water didn't flow. That gutter issue was addressed under the workmanship warranty.

Every did a great job and was very efficient.

The salesmen have great sales pitch but everything after the sales pitch is a nightmare. No communication , they push your roof delivery out more than 1 month and every time you follow up they make up another excuse as to why they need 2 more weeks.

My consultation with Jordan about my needs and choices of materials was very detailed and well documented. The crew which installed the shingles and skylights were well organized, worked well and were careful about my garden.

Smith Roofing Company was frustrating as a client. Their project manager was not responsible and did not show up numerous times, and the company didn't know about his whereabouts. On several occasions they cut corners, and with me as their client I was the one to bring it to their attention to force it to be corrected. The project manager did not notice any of it.

Smith Roofing provided exceptional and quality service with replacing our roof and rebuilding the exterior of our chimney. We highly recommend.
