I appreciate Smith Douglas Homes as a builder. They provide affordable housing at a good quality, but at the same time there are a few small things that I would be intentional to go through and look at on my walk through. They have a warranty that helps and have been good about it.

They were good. They worked in a timely manner.

I was not satisfied with the final walkthrough and some of the work that was done.

I was thoroughly impressed with the professionalism and expertise of the builder, sales professional, and construction manager.

Mr Christian is very helpful and was able to assist or help whenever we reached out for help in a timely manner. This is our first home and even though the process not smoothly as we thought but with his assistance on the side, we feel very grateful for what we have achieved so far.

I don’t want others to have to go through what I went through with this building process with Manny. But if they had to just deal with Blake or Kris then yes it would be 5 star rating.

Overall, we have been extremely pleased with the people we interacted with. They were always professional, supportive and extremely responsive theough the building process.
Where I think S & D fell short were in areas such as fencing and unreasonable restrictions that were passed on to the HOA. Had we known the full range of restrictions, we might have reconsidered but we were not given the full set of HOA requirements until our contract was completed.

Representatives of Smith Douglas were good to deal with and very communicative throughout the process. However, we have issues with the overall quality of construction.

There were follow-up items that needed to be taken care of prior to closing, and they were not completed. I was told it would be completed after closing, and a month and a half after closing, it's still not completed.

Wes was good at communicating and keeping everyone updated on the build. His communication helped a lot throughout the process.

Wes, who sold us the home, is really helpful, caring, understanding, and patient.

The salesman was very helpful. The design center was helpful. The project manager was very helpful. I just had a few hiccups that I couldn't get an answer for until the last few days before we closed.

We love our house. And the quality is fantastic.

They made it pretty easy to move in. It was pretty simple.

Construction manager had poor attention to detail. The carpentry work is not the best. I just seem to be noticing more issues in this house than I did when I purchased a new home in 2002.
