In direct response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and to ensure the safety, health and well-being of our customers as well as our own employees, we have implemented specific safety and health protocols, practices and procedures as per the recommendations of the Occupational Health & Safety Administration (OSHA), the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). Additionally, we have appointed an in-house COVID-19 Supervisor to oversee and monitor our COVID-19 Pandemic Response Plan for both employees and our customers.
In the interest of the safety of the public as well as our entire team, we have also implemented new digital/virtual estimate, inspection, consultation and appointment services in order to respect all social distancing protocols and limit in-person contact to the maximum extent possible. The fuse when out after a couple of months, would think we would have been told that could happen and asked if we wanted it changed out. The billing system was confusing.

All round excellent performance. The two teams (roof installation and electrics) both did great jobs with neat and very professional work in evidence. Additionally, very nice guys to have working on and in your home.
Our roof work and solar panel install went well, in a timely manner. After that, months went by without any contact or updates regarding permits or approval from PG&E, etc. Ironically Scudder had given us a sheet with everyone's contact information and their phone tree message boasts about communication being so good, when we called for information. But we got the run around or no response back from our multiple messages to the employees indicated on the contact sheet.
After receiving a bill for the balance, I left a message with accounts receivable noting that I would not be paying it until someone told us what the status was on our system. Only then did we get a call with an apology, saying that it was a problem employee that had held up the process. Wondered why no one had followed up on our calls in the prior weeks....
I already recommended Scudder Solar and as a result you gained an additional customer.

I have been around construction sites in the past, and have known people who worked in construction. The installation by Scudder Solar was impressively clean and neat. Scudder Solar took care of all of the tedious details such as permits and inspections--all I had to do was stay out of the way and let them do the work. This was a very smooth operation from my perspective.
Communication - We communicated very well during the project. The solar panels are on the roof and are functioning nicely according to the smart meter on my house, so we seem to have little need for much communication at this point. Nice work!
Value - All this project required me to do was to complete a bit of paperwork, arrange some financing, and to stay out of the way while other people did everything else. This project was one of the simpler things in my life from my perspective.
