I contacted my insurance company about water damage in my kitchen on May 8, 2024. They sent Rytech which was a bad call. Joseph from Rytech called me and said he would tear into the wall to assess damage which he did not do.
A mold tech came a few days later and took samples.
I called Joseph several times and he did return my call once.
I never heard from him until 30 days later when he called about doing cleanup and tearout. I assuredly did not need help 30 days later.
Poor service and the insurance company should partner with a better company. They sent a bill for $2100.00 which was exorbitant for VERY LITTLE WORK AND POOR SERVICE.
Rytech employees are courteous, respectful, and patiently answered my many questions.
It was a good group of guys, but the work was poor. Another mitigation company had to come out and do what they didn't get.

The filter on the air scrubber was completely clogged. After letting the technicians know when they returned the 2nd day, they removed the unit. Then said the unit had done it's job and insurance would only pay for one day.

If you plan on going with Rytech, be sure to use their Chicago, IL office. Steer clear from the Northwest Indiana office; they are unprofessional, provided misguiding information, and have absolutely no consistency when it comes to their work staff.
