The subcontracted installers were not the quality observed from Ridge Top

A little confusing at times.

They did not check in while the job was underway. I did not want to interrupt the workers while they were busy and we had a language barrier.

I wanted to keep my business local and Ridgetop Exteriors were just that. My experience was a good one and I feel like the care and quality of work on the roof met my expectations.

The job was extremely poorly planned. I was told the siding would be done Sept 19 but was told on Sept 16 that the job could not be done then because the siding guys were not aware that I also was having the roof done. Strange since all were with Ridgetop and you’d think people could communicate or even properly read the contact. Nevertheless, the material was still delivered along with a dumpster on Sept 18. The siding crew even showed up on Sept 19 because no one cancelled with suppliers when the date changed. The roof was finally done on Oct 9-10. I could not communicate with the crew because no one spoke Elglish and the Ridgetop supervisor was rarely there. My gutter guards were damaged and removed along with many gutter sections. The siding is going better. They worked 3 days (M-W) last week but have not been back since because of weather I guess. I paid $20K mud-August and here I am mid-October still waiting for the job to be completed. I feel like you got money and the placed me on low priority. My neighbor needs his roof done but I discouraged him from going with Ridgetop based on my experience.

Arrival was prompt, work was in orderly fashion, completed on time.

We were really disappointed that we weren't communicated to throughout the project. We weren't told ahead of time when people would be showing up to work on a part of the project. I had to call to get updates. The siding group just showed up - I didn't know that they were scheduled for that day of the work. I had to call to get an invoice when the work was completed. There wasn't any follow up or a walk through after the work was done.

The roofing work was done on time and looks great.

The people are very nice and a pleasure to do business with. They go above and beyond expectations.

Zac is amazing to work with. He has good communication, great work ethic, and makes sure all the area is clean with no nails or materials left in the area,

Communication has been lacking, my house is still not done two months after it was supposed to start, and some of the work done is falling apart.

Well one the two installers, Jose could not speak much English. And Javier was the leader, a better English speaker, but not great.
Also, there was a strong supervisor pre-inspection with pics taken & what looked like a strong post-inspection with pics also by the supervisor, but no one told us about the obvious damage to a corner of our second floor siding which I found by using my ladder a few days later to go up on our front porch roof to clean the exterior of a upstairs bedroom! I called and a couple of weeks later their "fix-it" sub-contractor (Terry?) fixed it at no charge. At $3180, he also put in a few edge line boards that I decided we needed. Like the roofers, he did very good work!

Answer my questions, that I asked like 5 times and nobody wants to commit to any thing about the warranty, but you were sure using that as a sales tactic.

Roof and soffet installed. Excellent work. Efficient and cleaned up yard when completed. Would recommend.

I got five bids before I selected a contractor to replace my roof. Ridge Top Exteriors had the best reputation online and I also got recommendations for them from two of my neighbors. They had the best price because I got a significant cash discount, which no one else even offered. And they had the best warranty. They came the day they were scheduled and they finished the same day. They cleaned up nicely, leaving my property better than they found it.

Actually I did recomemd Rodge Top to many of my friends

Things weren’t done right the first time, always seems to be something wrong every time they come out and fix initial install. Supervision is poor and not taking control of their job site. No quality control of their crews work. Relying on the owner to not see defects.
