From the very beginning, our experience with Red Door Homes of Winterville has been exceptional—and it's all thanks to the amazing people who’ve helped guide us through this journey. We truly wouldn't have started this process if it hadn't been for our incredible Dream Home Consultant, Natalie Edwards. Natalie made everything feel approachable and exciting from the start. Her warmth, professionalism, and genuine care helped turn what could have been an overwhelming experience into something we actually looked forward to.

We also want to give a huge shoutout to our builder, Joseph Gottlich. Joseph has gone above and beyond in every possible way. His attention to detail and commitment to getting things just right have not gone unnoticed. One moment that really stood out to us was when we saw him using a tape measure to ensure our pantry door wouldn't hit the kitchen island when opened—it's that level of thoughtfulness and precision that makes all the difference. Joseph clearly cares about the homes he builds and the families he builds them for, and we’re so grateful for the care he’s put into ours.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience so far, and we’re so thankful for both Natalie and Joseph. Red Door Homes is lucky to have them—and so are we!

Great experience so far, had a small set back with our first builder quitting working at the company. However, I feel that the company has made that particular experience right by reaching out as soon as they figured out the situation and being transparent about it. Receiving a personal phone call from Jeff, and him reassuring that they were getting everything back on track for the build was very thoughtful and well received. Our new builder, Kaleb has done an excellent job staying in touch with us so far and is very easy to talk to. He does not mind answering any questions for someone like me who has little to no experience with how homes are built. Roseanne also made our color selection process feel much less painful and helped us through our options with the budget we have. And Scotty, what a wonderful salesman. He made the beginning of this whole process seamless and did not hesitate to help when he could.

They say what they’re going to do, and then do what they said they would. Excellent customer service and support. There are always going to be a few things with a new home that need attention, but Red Door has been very good about addressing these issues. My builder went above and beyond to help us out even 5 months after construction was completed.

Sales person Natalie worked with us to get us almost everything we wanted within our Budget. Matt the builder was very knowledgeable and made some good suggestions on ad ons.

Red Door is the best from start to finish. Guide me every step of the way. No matter when i called with a question or concern, Hunter was available to answer my concerns. Thanks Red Door.

I was pleased with my whole experience and process of making my dream home come true. Every person that I made in the office was so supportive and passionate about their job. I would recommend this office to anyone I know that wants to build a home.

It has been a wonderful experience so far. Buying a home and building what you really want there is no comparison. They call it dream home for a reason. You pick out literally everything that you want and also keeping your budget in mind along the way. They have thought of every little detail that will come up. People are absolutely wonderful! I could go on for…… But it’s the best decision anyone could make that wants to build a home and doesn’t know how.

I am basing this off of someone who had a home built 10 years ago with Red Door Homes of the Carolinas - Raeford versus my experience now. I don't feel the quality given 10 years ago is the same quality that is given now. The homes are plainer now than they were 10 years ago, yet more expensive. It was disappointing when we went to Red Door Homes of the Carolinas - Raeford about this home. We have to pay builder's insurance, whereas 10 years ago that was not the case. The person we are working with is good, and we are still going with Red Door Homes of the Carolinas - Raeford, but we are settling, as this is not my happy dream home build.

With this being my first home build everyone was helpful

Jacob was awesome to work with. He was number one; the other team members were also good, but Jacob was always available when I called him, even if he was off work.

Make sure you pay attention to your contract and how things are said.

They have great customer service, high professionalism, and are very on top of it. I would like to have another survey by the end of the project.

I greatly enjoyed my experience with Red Door Homes of the Carolinas. Everyone was super helpful and courteous. I would recommend them to anyone I come across.

We had a lot of problems getting contractors to show up when they are supposed to and to do their job correctly the first time. Their quality of work has been less than poor at times. One contractor I would not allow back on the property due to poor workmanship and when asked to come fix it he did more damage than before and even stole some building materials. The inability of any contractor to pick up after themselves is amazing except for the porter potty company has been very good at keeping that thing maintained. I have spent hours cleaning up trash, picking up nails, chasing blowing trash around neighbors property. I have had to spend a lot of time getting the contractors to live up to even Red Door standards and I know my standards are even higher. Red Door and I have talking to some contractors on the work that needs to be done and they do what they want to do and then they have to come back again to fix it just slowing thing down. This has been a tough build I know but we went with Red Door because they said they built quality houses. We are slowly getting there After over 200 days of building but I still do not know if it will be done this week. I could go on but in short this has been not the easy process.

Very friendly and patient with me. Patience is extremely important for me when people are dealing with me because it shows me carrying. Everything was explained to me in a manner in which made me feel like I was important in this process

All aspects have been great and they are wiling to be flexible as needed by the customer!!

We chose Red Door Homes to rebuild after our house fire. Everything has been on-time, and top-notch quality. There is regular communication from our builder, Walker, as everything progresses, and everyone in the office that we've dealt with has been so kind. We would recommend them to anyone looking to build a custom home!

Not only is the communication great and the people are so kind and genuine, but also I have been kept informed the entire time thus far.

They have not built our home yet for us, so based on just the process so far, I would rate it a 10. But the most important thing is the house, and they have not done it yet. They were supposed to start over a month ago, and they have not. It is not technically their fault, there is a problem with the septic permit that I do not understand, but it has caused a several month delay in the process. I do not really understand what is going on, but I just want them to build the house already. Our sales representative was great, there was no issues with her. She was always really loveable.

We are only partly into the process, but it is going well so far. They keep us updated on what is happening.

It was a frustration-free design and building experience. They worked diligently from dusk to dawn and handled any issues proactively. The final product is the greatest, coziest home for my mum; she loves it.
