The process was smooth because the members of the team worked well together, and were knowledgeable and professional.

So far the process has been smooth! I have really enjoyed working with the sales team, the contractors and the design consultant.

Additional Communication

Additional Communication - We just want this process to move forward we have been working with red door for months and have just been stagnant. Every is either on vacation or doesn’t answer our calls. Our sales rep actually told us that she had been hanging up on my phone calls assuming I was spam for over a week. Pretty annoyed.

There are questions about allowances and how they are used for unexpected needs vs updated requests from us. We’re uncertain about how purchases can be made with allowances by RED DOOR for “money we don’t have in hand yet”, but we don’t have a say so for simple request prior to construction….. Our builder is in constant contact and responds w/in 24 hours (Walker). When friends asks questions there are still multiple steps we are uncertain about.

Had some initial issues with Consultant. Poor communication on some staffs part.

Spencer and Jeff broke everything down and explained it in easy details. Thy answered all my questions and clarified a couple of issues I had.

Yes we feel we got a quality home and great value for our money

We have been working with Red Door since May (it's now November), they have been unbelievably diligent, patient, flexible, and responsive as our plan for our property has evolved. We haven't broken ground yet (we just got to the contract stage a week ago due to our own delays), but the pre-building process has been unbelievably excellent.

Through each step of the Dream Home process, everyone has been very professional, kind and caring. I appreciate their extensive experience and dedication to ensuring everything was completed correctly and to my satisfaction. The RDH team are professional and caring. They stood by my side when we had to fight the City Zoning Commission over the back porch. Could not ask for a better team! Everyone I encountered at RDH was wonderful to work with. I highly recommend.

The staff were very welcoming from the time we walked in the door. Alexis is fantastic working with and Rosanne. Then when we met with the Jeff and Garrett we told them what we would like at the site, they advised us and we couldn’t picture it. But when groundbreaking began, they knew exactly what we were looking for and what our vision is.

I am highly satisfied with the process and construction of my Red Door Home! I love the floor plans and how you can customize. The entire team (shout out to Scottie, Rosanne, Kaleb, and Dale!) was great to work with-all my questions and concerns were addressed promptly and thoroughly. The overall experience was efficient, transparent, and met my expectations in every way! I confidently recommend Red Door Homes to anyone seeking a positive and reliable home building experience!

Design meeting was ok didn’t go quite as planed

I am between two of their areas where I am building, and where I am closer to is a cheaper area than where I have me dealing with, so I have to pay higher prices.

Suggested some more technical and esthetic advice for homeowners new to building.

We had a couple of issues with our wants. Some of them were not passed along the chain. There were something's that we requested that were not included in the plan.

There were a LOT of major issues during the build itself and after with the warranty. The consultant wrote down the counter tops in the wrong order. The counter tops in the kitchen were put in the bathrooms and vice versa. WE have to live with HER mistake.

Overall experience was a lot simpler and easier than I thought it would be.

Caleb S. was excellent to work with. He was our actual person in charge for the build of our home. He was very responsive, and he would respond extremely quickly even if it was a weekend when you asked him a question.

I was pleased with my whole experience and process of making my dream home come true. Every person that I made in the office was so supportive and passionate about their job. I would recommend this office to anyone I know that wants to build a home.

I am basing this off of someone who had a home built 10 years ago with Red Door Homes of the Carolinas - Raeford versus my experience now. I don't feel the quality given 10 years ago is the same quality that is given now. The homes are plainer now than they were 10 years ago, yet more expensive. It was disappointing when we went to Red Door Homes of the Carolinas - Raeford about this home. We have to pay builder's insurance, whereas 10 years ago that was not the case. The person we are working with is good, and we are still going with Red Door Homes of the Carolinas - Raeford, but we are settling, as this is not my happy dream home build.

With this being my first home build everyone was helpful

Alexis McGirt was very good to work with. She made the process a lot easier.

Jacob was awesome to work with. He was number one; the other team members were also good, but Jacob was always available when I called him, even if he was off work.

Make sure you pay attention to your contract and how things are said.

Craftsmanship was boarder line horrible. I invite anyone from corporate to come look at my home

Not only is the communication great and the people are so kind and genuine, but also I have been kept informed the entire time thus far.
