The installation was not completed to the salespersons suggested specifications, which we noticed when we hit our heads on the too-low shower head and that the curtain rod was mounted too low and we were stepping on the curtain when we shower. We contacted Max Home on April 7 and was I was contacted by a supervisor later that day and explained the issue - he said the front and back walls would have to be ordered and replaced and that I’d be contacted to confirm and schedule. Weeks went by with no contact - I reached out on 4/25 and was contacted later that day, with promises to contact me on April 28. Flash forward to yesterday, after going more than a month with no contact. I was told that an S pipe would be installed (to move the shower head upward). When I said that this would not address all of our issues, the person actually checked the notes and informed me that they’d get the parts and do the installation on July 17, which seems unreasonably long for a problem reported in early April. This would have been solved by better internal and external communication.

The installer was very nice. He was very professional on the job that he did. I just wish that if he knew about the hump in the floor that he would’ve told us and not getting a surprise when you step in and almost fall down because of it, knowing that it was not there

Be more open about services such as floor cover (it would have been nice to know you only lay new flooring over old).

I am very pleased with my new shower. The installer was great and went out of his way to make sure all was well.
