The quality of their work exceeded my expectations. They were always responsive to my questions or requests. And they didn't mind my curiosity while observing their work... especially since I have had no experience with this degree of damage.

I had a lot of things going on with the roof as far as in leaks around the front. After they were finished, there were no more leaks.

My experience was awesome, from the initial presentation to completion. Originally, I was looking at two roofing companies. Both had great presentations. I chose Masters Roofing for several reasons. First, Drew was able to identify a leak just by watching the video he took with the drone (that tells me his knowledge). Second, when I went to the office, they were totally professional and explained the entire process. Third, they have a lifetime warranty on the boots (bc they are metal not rubber) for the pipes that stick out of the roof. The fourth reason was the warranty. I will not have to worry about the roof while I am here.

Strongly disagree at this point. I have not gotten over how me and my husband who has dementia was disturbed mentally with the carelines of craftmanship and horrifying noises, in which I'm still suffering sensitivity to noise with ringing in my ears. We were totally inconvenienced by being barricaded in our own home by this company throughout the entire 12hr job from the looks of a job well done in the ending. Not to mention no consideration of my husband health situation and doctor appoint I had to cancel because of Chad's miscommunication with me and crew of starting specific-work day by approaching our home before day break like thieves in the night. On the contrary-Tony of Masters ordered me to move our car on the street during the roof repair, as our home is on a hill far from the street. Yet, Master parked their debris dumpster in front of our driveway overnight to the point of me waring them of their city violation code before removing the dumpster all together. Masters (Patrick & Chad-Tony) took totally advantage of my patience from Oct. - December 2022. To add, due to the fact whereas initially in Oct. my insurance settled to pay Masters 12,000 and some odd dollars for a new roof vs. thereafter what Pat convinced me that I needed to get done and pay prior to them installing a new roof. I was charged an additional $4-5 thousand dollars for said rotten wood not even on the roof, yet another/additional for rotten plywood upon replacing the new roof. I trusted and mentioned to Pat My husband and I are seniors, and I handle all the business due to my husband's dementia and disability. Concluding, This all meaning, if Masters charged more money than my insurance settled, why accept the job in the first place; in which Patrick, was on site at my request, the day my insurance company appraised the roof.

The project was great. It could not have been better. They cleaned up so well that you couldn't even tell that they were here.

There were a lot of issues with the crew leaving chicken bones on the ground (my dog found them), also connections with the water heater was not finished

The process started out fine as we were seeking a second opinion from the contractor our Agent sent out. Bill Bowlin was detailed up front mainly around describing how they can work with the Adjusters to get your roof approved, part their terms requires you must use them and not shop afterward. While, this caused some concern, felt as if they would work with me and if the roof went well we could look at other needs for our home such as gutters, fencing, decking etc. Bill seemed super busy and disinterested in quoting or working with us in any other regard. While Bill did his inspection before prepping me for the insurance process he referred to me as a "know it all" and advised I not be around with the insurance company arrives. They left a sign in our yard for brand recognition, which we agreed to while we wait on the adjuster to come out. Not long a neighbor mentioned they wish they had known we were going with Masters, as they almost did as well based on a referral from their church. They were actually able to get their roof done for a few thousand dollars cheaper. Our roof was approved and adjuster issued the statement, while discussing upgrades Bill tried to gloss over the fact money was issued for gutters, which would have cost us an additional $1500 on top of what we received from the claim to replace the 3-tab with an architectural shingle. I spoke up as our gutters need replacing and he lowered the amount and called it a wash. This caused us to adjust numbers not making the details very clear, which looking back is by design. The roof contractor they sent was quick and efficient however lacked attention to detail leaving behind about 3 tubs worth or roofing nails for our 3 kids to find in our yard despite being advised they would clean those us. Also, their were ruts in the yard from their trailer, which based on their terms they release themselves of that liability. Lastly, their was interior patch and paint work for some water damage they were handling for us. They never came back to complete the paint job in our laundry room despite coordinating with the painter, who advised he would text when coming.... crickets. At this point the ~50% of payment had been made with us waiting on the certificate of completion post work being done. They sent this to our Adjuster ahead of doing the paint job, to release the rest of our funds from the claim. Bill waited a month to ask about that check, and when he reached out I was out of town on business, which I advised would get back with him post meetings that week, after learning that information is next response was to inquire if my wife was with me on the trip.... unclear why this matters and how this seems to be an appropriate question after some advises your on a business trip. Bill reached out the following week to pick up the check, due to the wait for them to finish the project and the check sitting for 4 weeks I deposited the funds that were made out to my wife and I. Due to the bank timelines it would be a couple days for the funds to fully available, so to avoid a bad check I post dated to when I knew the payment would run clean. Masters failed to see the date and ran the check early, causing us to cut a whole new check and repeat the process when I originally advised would be best, but Bill had to come that day to intrude on our homework and extra curricular schedules for our kids. If you want someone that is transactional, only working for your every claim dollar you receive, and does not view the policy holder as a customer (despite the homeowner paying on insurance premium for years helping fund coverage, so it indirectly money the policy holder is due). They have built an impressive office lined sports memorabilia and this of no surprise given the margins they are charging. Unless something drastically changes my mind I would not further invest time or money with them and look elsewhere for any future needs.

I cannot say enough good things about Masters Roofing. Jeff Peninger was our project manager. No matter how many times I asked the same question, he was very patient. He arrived when he said he would each time. We were impressed with the use of a drone to access the roof for assessment and picture taking purposes. When Owen’s Corning and GAF were not available to meet our time constraints with the colors we chose, Jeff provided a higher quality/cost product and did not charge extra. We expressed to Jeff that we were concerned that out plants along the house might be damaged, he said it would be taken care of. The men built very strong and complete barriers, and shrubs were not damaged. Ours was a large job with a complex roofline but they managed to complete this job in one VERY LONG day in the boiling heat. We didn’t ask for that, but they did it. The crew were pleasant and we were able to communicate with them when necessary. All paperwork demonstrating completion of the job was submitted quickly, and we had the check from our insurance company within 10 days. We would absolutely recommend Masters to all of our discerning friends. In fact, we found Masters from a friend who had used the company about seven years ago.

He came to sit down with me, talked me through the process, and talked to the insurance company for me. If I ever need roofing services again, I will definitely give them a call.
