Every aspect of our experience was completely professional. All the materials appear to be of the highest quality. The installer worked quickly but still took time to answer questions and gather input on things like the desired height of our shower head and grab rails. Mad City arranged all the permits and inspections and cleaned up completely when they finished.

Tyler the installer was very pleasant and told me what he was doing each step of the install. He put down drop cloths from the front door all the way into master bath and then covered the sinks as well. When he was all done the bathroom was very clean with no signs of dust
or any work being done.

The installer was great and very efficient. However, there were two different people that were rude. The lady that called me to set up the appointment was insistent that I make the appointment at her convenience and not mine. She told me that they did not have enough room to store the parts they ordered and that I needed to make the appointment sooner than I had thought. After putting me on hold and talking to a manager, she had a little bit of a different attitude the follow up gentleman that called me was very rude as well.

The quality of the workers knowledge was great, they made sure every detail was done to perfection.

The overall process was very professionally approached and executed. I contacted MCWB about installing a new shower with a retractable seat and 2 grab bars for my elderly parents. From the sales presentation to the last portion of the installation, their personnel were courteous, understanding, and provided extremely useful recommendations to enhance the safety for my parents. On the day of the installation, the technician arrived on-time, reviewed with me the work that we had agreed upon, and then proceeded. Although the initial estimate was that it might take 1.5 days, the job was completed in ~8 hours. During the installation, both a plumber and the supervisor stopped by to check on the progress and answer any questions I had. In addition, the old shower enclosure was removed and disposed of, and the post-installation cleanup was immaculate. Highly recommended!

We were happy having Richard and Berend as technicians for getting the job done. Richard worked alone a full day, and Berend finished the replacement of the shower door in less than an hour. Both of them exceptional technicians and individuals. They were highly professionals and very polite.

Done quickly

We like the product. The installer was excellent and the professionalism has been very satifying.

Walkin shower—1) Plumber used my clothes dryer for a ladder to work above drop ceiling on the drain. The top of the dryer is scarred, marred and damaged! 2) Shower curtain rod has a deep dent in it! 3) Shower head was inoperative just spun but would not change flow settings and was installed so tight that another plumber had to come remove it with great difficulty. He damaged the connection piece and had to go retrieve a new one. 4) Clean up was a joke. They obviously had the closet door open and it’s full of debris and trim wood. 5) The wall above my dryer has a dirty handprint where the plumber held onto the wall!

Expensive, it looks ok, but nothing special.

Roger W arrived a little before 8 AM.He introduced himself and explained what he would be doing. He covered the carpet, brought in the tools and got started. The job was taking out a tub shower and replacing it with a walk in shower. I love it and my small bathroom looks twice as big. Roger was very professional and friendly and cleaned up what mess there was. By the way I am 85 with Osteoarthritis and I needed this badly. I love it, Ilove it, I love it! Sandy B.

EY was exceptional

I am very disappointed in Mad City's customer service from the moment a contract was signed, Adam our sales guy would take days to answer questions or even return my calls. He also informed us you all would come do an official measure of the door, but failed to mention they would plan to rip the trim off the wall like my home was a demo site. No scoring of caulk lead to chunks of the wall being damaged and areas where you can tell a crow bar was pushed into my drywall damaging the surrounding area unnecessarily. As someone who has done many of home projects I understand the challenges of removing trim, but this work was sloppy and caused unnecessary damage. Then after he was done measuring nails were left sticking out of my of the trim for over 6 weeks where myself and my family could be harmed by them. Not to mention how upset I was looking at this damage everyday for over 6 weeks while I waited for my door to come in. When I discussed this with Adam, he didn't not answer my daily call for 4 days in a row or my text that I sent him on the day of the measure. Then when he finally did get back to me all he had to say was oh they will replace the trim. On the day of install Hugo and his crew showed up and we're very clean and courteous to my home, prepping the job site laying down tarps inside and out of my home, but unfortunately spoke no English which made this transaction seemingly difficult. Slightly upsetting that mad city completed the rest of the transaction with me in English and knowing I spoke English at this point to send a crew into my home that spoke no English. Now I do not have and issue with Hugo or his crew but the fact that Mad City would tell me that on the day of the install someone would walk through the job with me before and after the work was complete to then send a crew who did not speak the language I did at all other communications looks bad and made it extremely challenging. After Hugo and his crew left I received a phone call from a field Manager, Ryan who asked how Carlos did on my door install. There was no Carlos here. The field manager then proceeded to tell me I should give said Carlos a five star review so he can stay with mad city and also receive his bonus. Threatening a customer with one of your installers keeping their job is unprofessional and disrespectful. I informed the field manager that after the crew had left that we had noticed there was no secondary lock on the door that Adam had told us the door would come with. He informed me he knew nothing of this and would get back to me. The day following the install I received a call from Brad asking me how many people Hugo had with him. For a company who claims all their installers are W2 employees I would think you should know how many people came to my house from your company. None the less I do enjoy the door regardless of the missing piece I am still waiting to hear back on, but found Mad city's operations to be unorganized and unprofessional making it very unlikely to recommend mad city to my friends and family.

The entire experience was very pleasant. Chris listened to my concerns and needs in a walk-in shower and explained various options. Richard came later in the week and measured and explained more about the install. Then Matt came and completed the installation in 1 day. All staff were pleasant, knowledgeable, efficient. What a great group. My bath was cleaner after the install that before Matt arrived.
