The follow-up service provided by Jenn Buskirk was also very prompt and properly addressing my questions and concerns and I felt well cared for and protected. The fact that you moved your head office to Fredericksburg was a bit disappointing, but the agent in the Fairfax office (Robin) was also kind and prompt and made me feel relaxed about the distance to the head office. All in all, the serviceability of your staff is the key in forming my favorable view of your company.

The person I dealt with did well in the home insurance, but unfortunately, for cars insurance, he imagined no one else could do better and I should "shop around to your heart’s desire". I found rates same as my previous insurance. I will seriously think about changing the home insurance to the other company.

Long and Foster made my home buying experience and home insurance transfer so easy. Highly recommend them.

The agent I worked with was very nice but seemed completely overwhelmed with the process of securing a new hazard insurance policy and vendor for our home when we had to change vendors. He struggled to find the appropriate information about our home even though we purchased it from Long & Foster and they handled the original policy. We settled on a new policy and vendor based on the information he quoted us but then the premium went up by $700 dollars less than one month after completing the process and signing the policy. When we discussed the reason for the increase he was unable to provide a reasonable explanation.

Horrible response time

Ariel took good care of all my home insurance concerns. Even with this stubborn carrier still trying to denied my new policy with them, making us jump through a lot of hoops but Ariel hung in there I got it right for me, kudos!!!!

This is not our first policy purchased through LFI & I’m sure won’t be the last. I refer others to LFI all the time.

You guys did absolutely nothing to lower our insurance costs for auto, home or umbrella policies! Travelers screwed us on all 3 policies and luckily I found comparable or better policies for a combined savings of around $1000 per year!! Should have did this years ago. Why would anyone want your services (or lack of) to lower our costs? Won't be using or recommending Long and Foster for anything anytime soon! You lost a long time customer because of this!

Anytime I needed help they were there for me and will be for the next 20 or 25 years.

When I started with them and getting the contract in, they were very responsive and almost had daily calls. Since I signed the contract, zero communication or even checking on annual basis what are the option to work on the policy, instead they just keep rising it with no reasons. Beside that, I added car to the policy and I have to deal myself directly with Travelers since there is no way to reach anyone with Long & Foster except collecting their commission! Very disappointing and I will not recommend them to anyone I know! It is kind of grab and go type of service than knowing your customer and supporting them.
