Waiting to see how warranty issues are handled.
Landmark homes are classy, well-built, and beautiful! Landmark allows you to make changes that you need to fit your lifestyle.
I am likely to recommend Landmark Homes to a friend because I'm enjoying the spaciousness and welcoming of what Landmark Homes builds. I'm enjoying my home.
The construction was good and met our expectations. Before I would recommend Landmark, I would be sure to warn folks about the issues we've encountered which are specified in question 20 below.
We love our new home. We appreciate everyone who helped us. There was a lot of options for upgrades and fast responses to any issues during construction. We also had a simple warranty issue pop up (nothing to worry about), but Landmark’s service was easy to report and quick to respond and get it fixed.
Great experience thus far. Everyone we’ve worked with has been professional and courteous.
Great communication and customer service.
BUYER BEWARE! You basically have to watch them build your house to ensure you are getting what you paid for. Sub-quality products with inflated prices, sub-quality craftmenship, and they do not do any quality checks. all is great until you give them money. Then they ignore any issues and it is most difficult to hold them accountable after you've settled. Every house has a laundry list of issues of all types.
Overall very good. likely to recommend
We have been pleased with the communication from Landmark Homes throughout the home building process. We are excited to watch our new home be built!
Landmark Homes was very good to work with. We were building with them as we lived out of state, and they kept us informed. We were impressed with how they treated us and their workmanship.
We didn't have any issues from beginning to end. I would highly recommend Landmark Homes to friends and family.
So far the experience with everyone at Landmark has been very positive.
It was an exceptional experience and I highly recommend them.
I love the office manager and how helpful she was during the process. This is why Landmark gets two stars instead of one. All the extra and excessive costs for a basic home is ridiculous considering how large a company Landmark is in the area. I am also extremely disappointed with the actual lot itself. Landmark did not disclose any of the grading for the swales (water run-off stuff) during the lot release and I have lost half my backyard.
Super nice people to work with! Great at communicating as well as answering questions with a knowledgeable and timely answer!
landmark (Crackmark) is not worth the 1 star rating I gave - but it is the lowest I could give. Absolute worst builder I've ever dealt with. Do not purchase the home at 213 Pinnacle Ridge in the Winding Creek 55+ development in Annville, PA. The foundation slab is broken in half. I paid my 10% down. landmark (Crackmark) could NOT construct me a home without a broken slab foundation. I am concerned they will pawn it off on some other disable senior citizen. The community sales manager, nicole wamsher, said landmark always has cracks in their foundations. dave knoecker, the project manager, said there are preventative measures to ensure that the foundation does not crack/break, however, landmark does not take any preventative measures. I guess the customer is not worth it. I asked landmark to stand behind their construction and provide a warranty on the foundation. The vice president, eric ziegler, said the state of Pennsylvania provides a 10 year warranty on all new construction foundations - BLATANT LIE. Do not trust landmark (Crackmark). Based on my experience with landmark(Crackmark), customers are only Cha-Ching to crackmark pockets. Do not trust this business. During my experience with crackmark, I was subjected to dishonesty, incompetent construction and arrogance by all crackmark employees I dealt with. Friends and Family do NOT let Friends and Family buy from or build with landmark (Crackmark) homes.
We looked at many new construction sites during our yearlong house hunting process. The quality of the Landmark home definitely stood out above any of them, most notably the fit and finish, floorplan design, and the people we worked with. And these are qualities we are more than happy to share with our friends who are looking for a new home.
Landmark has been great to work with so far and we would recommend.
Everyone at Landmark was knowledgable, professional and showed great care in making sure our new home was exactly what we wanted and within our budget. We have already recommended Landmark to so many people who asked about our experience.
The staff at Landmark Homes were very helpful and great to work with.
Landmark Homes make beautiful homes. It seems like the homes are of very good quality. More than anything, if you walk into any one of their offices, the quality of the customer service is phenomenal. They do everything possible to make it easy for you. I highly recommend Landmark Homes.
We’re still early in the process, but it has been rough at times; so I can’t yet say I’d recommend Landmark. Their “preferred lender,” Ephrata National Bank, made so many mistakes in our paperwork. One document alone required 4 rounds of revisions. You can see by ENB’s reviews that they are awful to work with. My hope is that Landmark cuts ties with ENB before it hurts Landmark’s reputation. Landmark’s “preferred settlement company,” Guardian Transfer was also not great. When they gave us copies of our closing documents, they gave us copies without our signatures. When I asked for the signed versions, they sent me another buyer’s closing documents (containing loan info, SSN, employment/salary history, etc)! If you choose Landmark, avoid working with ENB and Guardian! Landmark has been interesting to work with. Very friendly people, but mistakes have been made in the paperwork and floor plans. Review every new version of every document line by line. It’s overwhelming, but worth the time. We had items inserted into our selections sheet we never requested, window shapes suddenly changing in the plans, and having our documents pre-marked for waiving inspections (we currently live in a similar neighborhood built by another builder and there are so many issues with the new construction—I’ll never waive inspections). We requested quite a few corrections/revisions from beginning to construction closing.
Very poor follow up after the sale regarding unresolved issues.
We would recommed Landmark Homes to friends or famly looking for a new home in a Landmark Community
