Communication. We met with your salesperson. We ordered the materials. We met with the lead. We never heard back from anyone again until I reached out, a few times. We were assured we'd be in the loop on where we stood but BuilderTrend was not ever updated (at least to my knowledge) and then our project was suddenly ready to begin with very little notice. It worked out but was stressful at that time with all we had going on otherwise. Having some notice to plan would've been super helpful.

On multiple occasions I had to call the project manager because the work crew was not following the quote correctly. They were painting over rotted wood that was supposed to be replaced. If I had not caught the issue then it would not have been removed and replaced correctly. I am not sure if the issue was lack of communication from the project manager to the crew or the crew disregarded instructions.

I would and already have recommended lakeside for windows. The installation crew was professional and courteous and did the job in the given time frame, they left my house when finished and everything was clean and neat. We are very pleased with our new windows and front door. The siding crew although, while very courteous seemed to lack supervision. The weather was hot and I understand how that can slow things down, I did construction work for a long time. I would not want anyone to get ill and I have no problem when there are breaks to cool down, take as many as you need. There were many cooler days though when the crew just didn’t seem to know what was to be done and little work was done. The completion date was several weeks past the three weeks we were told the job would be done. The siding installation itself I would say is adequate not great, below what I would expect considering the cost. I would say my house looks good and we have received many compliments but I will withhold final judgement to see how the siding holds up after a few years.
