From concept to completion this job couldn't have gone more smoothly. The work crew was exceptionally clean, polite and professional. I was genuinely impressed with the exterior job that we expected to be a patch sort of job that ended up being fully replaced!

I am likely to recommend Lakeside Renovation & Design because we were extremely pleased from the onset and sales experience and with the overall confidence they gave us the job would be done right. We found that they were a very reputable company and worth the little extra money. There was peace of mind.

I'm still waiting for a hinge screw to match the others for one of the doors.
The plumbers didn't clean up after themselves, just left the leftover pipe in the basement and the yard.
The concrete company lowered the grade of my yard. I had a brick patio that is now three inches higher than the pour. The pour is not flat its pitched away from the house which there's no reason for that, it's under the roof. John told me they would grade the yard, instead you dropped a truck load of dirt on my yard which only makes it worse. My yard is destroyed. It's raining today so the river of mud is running.
Ambassador charged me for much more than needed for the job. I have a box of tile where they only used one piece form the box and a box of wood flooring with maybe 3/4 of that box still being full. The gentlemen that installed the floors asked where I wanted the leftover flooring. I questioned why he wouldn't be taking with him, he said "well you paid for it".

The team that worked at my house used my boards that I had in the back to use as support without asking me. especially since I was using them for a personal purpose.

We needed a company who could come in and competently manage all aspects of the project. They did an excellent job at running the project. Once work started, a crew was there nearly every day until the work was complete. At the end of any project, there are always a few minor issues to clean up and Lakeside was super at getting the final details polished up. I would certainly recommend them and will use them again myself.

The pre-construction phase was great. We had multiple material and design selections that could have negatively impacted the budget. These were easily solved and construction started soon that we expected.

I've been getting this question from family, friends, and neighbors a lot. Would you hire Lakeside again? My answer is I'm torn. So far we believe the quality of workmanship and Lakeside's reputation to stand behind their work would lead us to do another project with Lakeside. The workers/installers/crew were always professional and a pleasure to have in our home. That is very important when hiring any company! However we were frustrated throughout the project with the lack of communication, or confusion in communication from Lakeside. We were often confused when crews would be showing up. Either not being here when expected, or showing up when not expected. The crews here working all day with barely any work to show for it because they were waiting on materials. We were frustrated by the lack of detail in your contracts and the lack of communication between your sales department and your project management department. In the end, we were very frustrated when things were installed differently than what we discussed with our Sales person, or when finishes we assumed were included were not. We absolutely did not like that Lakeside separates out HVAC, flooring, light fixtures, etc. and puts those purchases onto the client. Yet Lakeside still wanted to order, schedule, and communicate with those vendors on our behalf. It did nothing but leave us feeling completely out of control in those areas of the project.

Lakeside did a great job on all aspects of my project. Quality and value were fantastic. I would highly recommend!
