We had a second-story remodel done by Kuhn Construction that included an new kitchen, bathroom and other work. I would not hesitate to recommend them to our closest friends and family. The communication was consistent and updates were given frequently. Each stage of the project was completed on-time. We encountered a few hurdles from the old construction and Kuhn Construction came up with solutions that kept our project within budget and on schedule. I cannot stress how happy we are with the outcome And definitely recommend Kuhn Construction.

This is the second time i have used Kuhn Construction for renovations in my home. I think that hiring a contractor is one of the scariest things a home owner can do. But my experiences with Kuhn shows me that that does not have to be the case. From my first contact with John, the project manager, all of my needs were met with professionalism, understanding, and expertise. They stayed on budget, came when they said they would, and, when faced with an unexpected issue, handled it with an attention to detail and a desire to do the job right. Each of the construction professionals who came to me home treated it with respect and I felt entirely comfortable leaving them to do their work. The staff at Kuhn is exceptional-all well qualified, detail-oriented and consistently in communication with the customer and each other. Jeff and his son Zach (the owners) and Dennis and Chip-the project managers have been priceless. Dennis was the main project manager for my renovation and was always in constant communication, had great ideas, made sure the contractors were completing the job as expected on a daily basis and would help to brainstorm ideas with me along the way. Danielle-the designer, also was completely amazing with her really listening to what I envisioned and then her using her time to visit mason places etc. and looking for exactly what I wanted (saved me a lot of research and time) and was instrumental with choosing the final overall design and color. The team working together was truly an amazing experience, without them, I would have not have loved the outcome as much as I do now!

I cannot say enough of how completely satisfied and happy I was/am with Kuhn Construction. I was very nervous to start my bathroom renovation. The whole team Zach, Chip, Dennis, Dave and Danielle were/are professional and incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. They worked with my budget and kept me informed every step of the way. Any and all concerns were answered and taken seriously. Kuhn worked on my bathroom 6 days a week for 3 weeks. My small bathroom project was treated as just as an important project as any other. It turned out fantastic. Better than I could have imagined. Thank you Dave for your magic. I can't recommend this company enough.

Kuhn was easy to work with for the most part. It was nice to work with a design-build firm so that we did not have to communicate with different people. We are very satisfied with the finished job.

We selected Kuhn because they were the design/build company used by family. And we selected a cabinet style (Decora) with 1" tolerances instead of the typical 3" in order to customize cabinet lengths for our small kitchen. We paid a significant upcharge for the Decora style. We never realized the benefits of this extra cost. For example, the designer was unfamiliar with the cabinet and as a result we ended up with 24" cabinets on each side of the kitchen window. This tight fit eliminated a window molding. 23" cabinets would have provided a more open, less squeezed look.
The corner cabinet didn't fit because it was too wide and the cabinets next to the stove and refrigerator were too tight causing the refrigerator side panel to bow. This prevented the stove from fitting. Reordering and reducing the panel widths next to the refrigerator caused weeks of delays. In the end, the design/build benefit was never realized. The designer never visited the site before, during or after the project.
We are aware there were pandemic and pregnancy concerns and understand this made it difficult for everyone. The replacement designer was unaware of certain conversations we had with the first designer. It was the perfect storm of miscommunication.

Kuhn just finished their second project for us. They remodeled one of our bathrooms and added a shower. As with their first project for us ( remodel our livingroom) they did a terrific job and our whole experience with Kuhn was a pleasure. From John the salesman, Danielle the designer, to Chip and Dennis the project managers, to particularly Dave the - meticulous - carpenter and their electrical, tile, glass and plumbing subcontractors, the bathroom turned out beautiful. All their professionalism really shined.

Chip, was their project coordinator. He is the guy who oversees all their projects. He was incredibly thorough. He was very courteous, prompt, and very on top of everything we needed. John, their sales representative, was incredibly courteous and very personable. He was very on top of everything that we needed on his end. Kuhn as a whole was absolutely incredible!
