K&H Salesperson Todd Keefer was very helpful and he did not use any heavy sales tactics like those I experienced with competing window vendors. We found good value and quality with SoftLight windows offered by K&H. The windows were quickly manufactured, delivered well ahead of schedule, and professionally installed by very courteous workers. Everyyhing as expected -- no surprises! This windows upgrade project was a very positive experience.
This is tough, as we had two entirely different experiences. We had our bay windows replaced and we had a couple of doors replaced. The window replacement was spectacular. The team worked hard, did an amazing job with a very meticulous attention to the details, and cleaned up like it was their own home. The doors replacement was much different. They created a very large mess, they didn't have all of the items they needed and left with work undone. The garage door replacement was the best one, the french doors was not nearly as good.
The other issue is that the follow up and follow through has not been as strong as I would have liked. I understand that they are getting busy again, but not only did I have to stay on top of them to get the door work finished (I made calls versus them calling me. They reacted well, but they should have been proactive versus reactive.) I also asked about some siding work and have heard nothing back still.
In summary, I am torn. I loved the work of the windows done by Sergio and his team and really would love to give more work to K&H if this is the quality and professionalism I can expect for the price. However, if I am going to get the doors experience and I can't get their sales folks to get back to me, then I may just pass. The real test is how the new request is responded too and handled, but in the end I am not going to beg someone to take our money.
My experience with K&H was straightforward and no-nonsense. It was not the cheapest option but they made it clear up front that's because they use quality materials and their installers do excellent work. And they followed through on both counts. They showed up on time and were very polite and professional.

However, the installer, Keith, was rude and inconsiderate. He arrived 90 minutes early without sending a message or a phone call.
As I was taking a shower, I heard loud, incessant pounding on my living room window. He alarmed my neighbor who came outside and confronted him about the noise he was making. during installation, he dragged his equipment from downstairs to upstairs without winding up hoses or electrical wires across my wooden floors and steps. Upon his departure, he left my front patio in disarray and failed to remove all of the debris from the windows he removed. I completed all paperwork without his assistance.
Had a custom sliding glass door replaced and it’s wonderful! Great service! Great quality!
