Jenkins helped me out after a fire. Unfortunately, it was during a pandemic, so there were material shortages. Jenkins was very communicative, and keeping me in the loop. I would recommend Jenkins to anybody.
This company does amazing, skilled work, nothing short of miraculous. When the worst happens, Jenkins can be counted on to work quickly and soothe frazzled nerves. This is the best restoration company in Hampton Roads!
John was my project manager and from the very first contact to the last, he exuded competence, patience, professionalism, and kindness. My nerves were totally shot following a sewage backup that flooded out my entire lower level, and somehow, within about 20 minutes of walking through the insanity that was my home, John convinced me it was going to work out just fine. In my experience, such a skill goes far above and beyond standard customer service. He also kept me well-informed, even if there wasnt much to report.
Mario Martinez was my contractor and he and his team are so incredibly efficient and skilled with everything they do! Every single day they worked at my house, it was like magic. I'd walk into my house and it would be like they'd waved a wizard's wand and suddenly, there were walls. And paint. And cabinets. And floors. And they cleaned up after themselves each day so well! Aside from the magical restorations taking place, they left no trace that they had been there at all. Such a servant's heart is a rarity in today's world and I am so so grateful to John and Mario and the team for turning my sow's ear into a silk purse.
Chris Page did an absolutely fantastic job. He is super professional and knowledgeable. Chris Laska was also an absolute pleasure to work with. Cannot say enough good things about these two.
The two men were very knowledgeable and went about the emergency situation in a professional manner. Both men were very polite and helpful.

Unfortunately for us, our loss initially occurred in April of 2021, during the height of the Covid pandemic. As such, there were many players and numerous challenges associated with our restoration project. Beyond what was within their control it would be unfair to either agree or disagree with this survey question. As fraught with frustration as this experience was, at the end of the day it was only one project. We hope to not have another and not solely due to Jenkins Restoration!

I was referred to Jenkins through my insurance company. Zach is very polite and professional, he came in did his measurements and I had a few questions he answered them with no hesitation. Chris came in and stage my home for a dry out, he explained everything in detail, kept me abreast on how things were going, he too answered any question that I have/had about the project.

They arrived as scheduled. They explained the equipment and time frame. After the drying, they cleaned up like they were never here.
Be sure to read the fine print with Jenkins Restoration. They will tell you to read the print. They did not stick to their commitment about verbal things.
I was better off managing my own project for the amount of energy, time, and frustration I dealt with. Jenkins hire subcontractors to perform the work. The only positive outlook is that, I have a better warranty with Jenkins than a typical 1 year if I was to hire my own contractor(s). If you have your own network of family or contractors, then, I would say, "stay away from Jenkins."
Jenkins Restorations did a good job. I had to call them back to complete one mission on the job that wasn't completely finished.

My 2 1/2 months restoration project was completed with good workers who arrived promptly, were friendly and courteous. They showed caution for items within the house while moving about in various rooms doing repairs. The initial water damage clean up there were problems with the equipment but the work was accomplished. However, we have been waiting for more than a month to take action on the estimated work to even discuss with them to arrange a beginning date. This situation is very upsetting because we are still waiting for the floor damage replacement and our dishwasher.
There was more than one contractor involved in the repair to my house. Because of this there was sometimes some "uncertainty" on the progress of the job. Jenkins smoothed out the "uncertainties"
