I used them bc my insurance referred them so idk--i feel like I'd be more likely to say "oh, you have a homeowners' claim? We used the contractor our insurance recommended and they were great, it was so easy" than to be like "you should use the company we used.

The construction manager we worked with was friendly and professional, as was the lead worker on-site from Jenkins. However, we were not satisfied with the work done by the subcontractors. The painters made mistakes that required them to come back and re-do some of their work. They had to paint rooms that were not meant to be painted, and one of them stole my daughter's I-pods (which the construction manager immediately replaced, but still). The electricians did not place some light fixtures where they were supposed to go, and my husband had to move them after the work was "done." The painters also never came back to repaint a ceiling where my husband also had to scrape and patch spots that bubbled because the painters painted it before places they had patched were dry. The tiling work in the bathroom was sloppy. We had to re-caulk the bathtub because the workers did not remove the plastic film from the tub before caulking. My husband also had to patch some spots in the floor tile under the radiator. We also wanted the stair banister touched up after the Jenkins movers scratched it when moving our furniture back in, but that never happened. Overall, it seemed that the contractors were not used to working in an older historic home.

Jenkins Restorations was exceptionally wonderful. Professional work done. They came and did an exceptional job. I love it. I have no complaints.

This is the second job that I have had the pleasure of working with Jenkins Restoration. The level of communication and professionalism is well-above par. They were very considerate of my time and schedule restrictions. They respected my property and were considerate by only making necessary noise (no music or excessive loud talking while working). I would request them again should the need arise.

I was very disappointed in how long the process took and how many times I had to follow up to get the work done and the punchlist completed. I often had to call or email multiple times to get a response. I also felt like it was much more expensive than it needed to be.

Brian was very nice and courteous. He responded to my questions and problems promptly.

Is there anything less than 1 available? I would strongly advise against recommending them.

The manager of the job was not considerate of my schedule or the fact that worked from home. He also did not make aware of what he was doing and how the chemicals and the noise would impact us being in the house.

I would definitely recommend AND hire Jenkins Restoration again.

They were very responsive and helpful.

Missed a large area when painting the ceiling in the kitchen. Spackeled the kitchen wall and did not sand it, just painted over it. 2 large marks left in the kitchen floor. The connection plate that connects the kitchen floor to the basement steps was not tacked in , just sitting on top. Very dangerous. Someone could slip on it and fall all the way down the steps. Very unprofessional to me. Whoever came out to check the work after it was done should have seen this. I wasn’t there to point it out and my wife didn’t know what to look for. Wondering if someone is going to come back and correct this. Not pleased at all !!
