I have been here since the 13th and I haven't received a trash can. I haven't been able to talk to anyone and I don't know where to put my trash. I wasn't able to reach anyone because of the holidays.

Ivey has built a very beautiful, high quality build home. When we discovered a few problems after moving in, they were quick with their warranty service and made sure the problems were completely resolved and we were fully satisfied

My experience with the Ivey Homes building process has been positive.

The quality is very good, and my home is very comfortable and very peaceful.

Process was easy and the builder credits were easy to understand and straightforward. Communication from the selling agent cold have been more frequent and consistent. Sometimes hard to get in contact with them.

Flexible options with home design;
High quality materials and workmanship

We were charged an extra $6000 after we were given the initial cost because of an "accounting error" due to a 60s house being built on a 70s lot and we were told they had just caught the error with our house. There are other 60s on 70s lots so did Ivey go back and charge those homeowners an extra $6000 too. I highly doubt it.

I have spent 2 days getting paint off the floor and woodwork. It’s a like color floor and did not see it before closing. I still have another 3 rooms to go.

The home is really good quality. The house is surrounded with plants, the water from the gutters go into the ground to prevent water puddles in grass. A lot of little details that you don't initially think about but matter down the line, went into building our house!

We loved the layout of the 3 bedroom in the adult community and the services and the amenities that the community offers. The Ivey houses we looked at were spacious with plenty of natural light. Beautiful community.

Essentially, we are from a different state and are moving into Georgia. The communication with the Ivey Residential sales has been great in helping with making the decision of which floor plan they offer would be best for us.

I appreciate the openness of the Ivey representatives to make changes for my disabled sister's rooms.

I found this home because a local friend recommended Ivey, and after exploring their website and found the neighborhoods they are developing. I have not been disappointed, the quality of construction is clearly evident. I also truly appreciated the professional and attentive service we received from Jessica and the team member who led our orientation tour (I believe his name was Joe). Their knowledge and friendliness made the experience even better!

Lack of communication from the beginning with sales person (Amanda) not being thorough in options available. We were also told one thing by the asst superintendent about our fence and then told no later. Also our entire house was painted the blue color we chose for one rooms. The rest was supposed to be white. Lack of communication from team regarding delayed schedule (claiming it was due to the snow) - if you knew at the beginning it was behind, you could’ve let us know to expect a delay. Instead you waited until 53 days out to inform us. We went to contract in November. It snowed in January. You didn’t lay foundation until mid February. The cabinets and lighting are in, the delay seems unnecessary, especially when we were told the paint correction (see below) would be done in time and extra hours would be worked to make sure it didn’t delay things.

The Design Studio was a great Experience,Being able to pick out almost everything that we wanted inside and out was a Plus! Keeping us updated with Pictures at each Stage of the Build is a Great idea!!! Also knowing everyone on your team to be able to communicate any Questions or concerns is a Plus.

Tracked price point from beginning to end and it increased by $4,000 the exact price of the supposed incentive of $4,000. Materials used are fairly cheap and the color scheme used in my townhome is horrible. The floor plan is a what I love (the Macon.. I think). For these reasons the home is not worth $267,000.

Overall, I liked most of my experience. I hand-picked this builder out of others I had researched. I thought they were good to work with, I liked my experience with Terri O'Neil, who helped me throughout the whole process, and Michelle who helped me when Terri was out.

Great customer service, beautifully constructed homes!

The whole process was very smooth, well planed and supported.

Very poor attention to detail. Crooked wall post in kitchen. Exhaust fan in kitchen making a clanking noise. Additional outlet not put in flex room. Outlets in master bedroom tripping. I’m picking paint drippings off of the floor. Scratches on bathroom counters. Two shelves in messy kitchen don’t have plugs to hold shelf on right side. Nearly broke my grandmothers china plate. Varied heat temperatures in the house. Master bedroom very warm, front room cold. Shutters are still not on the house. I haven’t even had time to truly “inspect.”

Ivey Residential is doing great; they are informative.

We are disappointed with the attention to detail and add on costs. There is quite a markup.

The quality of the build and the customer service are unmatched!

The home plan is beautiful. Most of the build is wonderful. Finish work has excess glue, caulk, and no clean up between sheetrock sanding and painting trim caused rough surfaces. Pointing out this problem solved many of the issues, although sides, tops and bottoms of doors still are quite rough

Very friendly and always available. Great quality! They give you comprehensive information about the house by an Ivey Employee. Cannot say enough good about them!!

You have an excellent sales/construction Team and your quality of materials and workmanship was evident in all respects. I normally do not give glowing reviews, however in this case, I felt it was necessary to point out why I will be recommending Ivey Homes to those friends and family that are looking for a well built home, at an affordable price and no compromise on Quality. A very pleasant home buying experience above my expectations.

Working with Ivey Homes was so easy!! Everyone is so friendly and sweet. They listen to all your concerns and come to you with effective solutions. The exceeded expectations when working with them.

We had issues throughout the entire process due to incorrect information being given. Our house was not completed at closing. The house was dirty after closing with paint all over the floors. There are things that a fix was done for instead of a replacement. Multiple contractors are having to come back after closing to finish work or correct work from poor craftsmanship. What we looked at and chose in the design studio looks very different in the house due to different lighting. The difference in looks caused a problem with the process as well. Jessica and Amanda were fantastic in trying to help rectify the problems and they would be the only reason we would recommend Ivey to anyone.

I would never recommend Ivey Residential to anyone. This has been a horrific experience. Every shortcut possible was taken when building my house, customer service was nonexistent, our closing date was pushed 2 times due to Ivey mistakes and false information, and since closing we have found several major issues with electrical, drywall and siding to which we have been told by Ivey that the contractors used are known for being terrible at their jobs.

Working with Ivey Homes has been such a great experience. They made everything so simple and easy as a first time home buyer.

They are not as upfront and forthright as their marketing would lead you to believe.

Ivey Homes is the only builder that my family has dealt with in this area so I can not compare them to another builder. They have followed up and do their best that they can to resolve the issues that arise with your property. They give you 30 days after closing to correct imperfections that you come across. They also supply you with a binder and a hand book to help you maintain your home and the necessary contact and warranty information to assist in register your appliances. A very friendly and helpful staff.
