Communication was unacceptable. Day 1 I was told the crew would show up at 9 am. When they didn't arrive by 11 am, I called the scheduler to find out if the work was going to start. I had not been told the crew was driving down from Seattle. Once Damon Isbell and National Sales Manager Michael Rasmussen got by first installment payment, I never heard from them again - NEVER. Even when I sent them pictures of the sloppy work that was done and missing vents in my roof, they did not contact me. The product looks very good, but expensive.
Product is excellent and the finished job well done. Love the appearance!
Both my husband (Wm. Richard) and I can't say enough about what an all around positive experience it was to work with everyone who helped us, as seniors, understand the entire process of getting an aluminum roof for our home. I was first introduced to Interlock Metal Roofing-ON when I searched the internet for metal roofing companies. I made a phone call and this lovely lady, Marcella, was extremely helpful and wonderful to talk with. As my first contact with this company, it was she who made me want to look further into the company as a whole, and schedule a time to meet a representative, keeping in mind we had no intention of going forward with plans at this time. However, after meeting with Bruce Mehuys who went above and beyond your "average salesperson", to explain EVERYTHING involved, listen to our concerns and never once pressure us into a sale, we signed that day and have been ever so happy since. Then we were contacted by Tony to schedule work which was done when he said it would be, to installers Moses, Richard and Johnmary ...the most polite, hardworking men we have ever met...can't say enough about their character/work ethics! The only thing they left behind after clean-up, was our beautiful new roof!

Wonderful to work with, very professional and have a great product
Once you understand the economics of your decision - you realize why an Interlock 40/50 year aluminium roof is the best way to go.
I have a south facing side of my roof that needs to be replaced every 10 years because of the extreme sun damage to the asphalt shingles.
That means I would need 2 or 3 more asphalt roofing jobs over the next 30 years, never mind 50 years.
Even if your asphalt roof lasts 15 years - it will still need 2 replacements in 30 years - 3 or more replacements in 50 years.
I more than break even cost wise, with this one 40/50 year aluminium application, and roofing jobs will just keep increasing in cost.
Even if prices remained the same - 3 asphalt roofs would still cost more than my superior original aluminium roof did.
But roofing costs will not remain the same.
I also get to look at a beautiful, strong, impermeable roof for the next 40/50 years, rather than an average looking asphalt roof that continues to degrade and look worse every year until I have to replace it again and again and again.
It's not just the cost - its the effort of having to do 3 or 4 more roofing jobs and hoping they will all do a reasonable job. No thanks. Done and done.
I never have to think about roofing again, as my stunning roof provides perfect protection for 40/50 years - rather than knowing I am going to have to do it all over again every ten years or be at risk of damaging the homes interior. That's why Insurance companies always ask - when did you last do your roof.
I chose the black slate and it looks amazing - make sure you pick the shingle colour to match the colour of your brick for the best result.
I also painted out all the trim to match the black slate shingles and went with new black gutters, soffits, fascia and gutter guards.
My house now stands out from all the other asphalt and steel roofs in the neighbourhood and most certainly this has increased the property value considerably more than my original roofing cost. Instant $ recovery.
It will be several years (hopefully) until our neighbors need new roofs but as the first home in the developement to have installed a metal shingle roof we have paved the way in this HOA neighborhood for them to do so. I'm sure over time our roof will sell itself assuming they are willing to put that kind of investment into their homes.
Great product, professionally installed.
I was very impressed with the company and the fact that they make their own products. The installation crew was very respectful and professional, and the cleanup was exceptional every day. It's a great product, and I love the roof.
They had great service and replacement.
Roof looks great very professional
Our new roof looks fabulous! We’re optimistic that we’ll be equally as pleased with its performance. The installers were professional, safety conscious, and courtesy to our dog.
We generally had great experiences throughout the entire process right from presentation to final inspection and deficiency rectification!
The sales rep explained the roofing process, answered all our questions and guided our choice of shingle profile and colour. The installation crew were efficient and knowledgeable.
The entire team (from sales to installation) was very clear regarding the timeline and next steps for the entire project. The end product looks great and is a vast improvement compared to the appearance of our prior roof.
Lots of good comments about the look of the new roof.
They are very professional, and it was extremely well done. It certainly looks like quality work to me. We've had lots of comments on it. They're professional people who are dedicated to the work they're doing. I'm very satisfied.
If you want the best quality shingles that are secured on all 4 sides, contact Interlock.
The finished product speaks for itself, recommends itself. Before installation my neighbour was skeptical, mentioning that leaks would be difficult to detect if they developed.
However he changed his mind after completion, when it was pointed out that 4 of the 6 days required for installation was spent prepping the roof surface (virtually insuring no future leakage) then 2 days actually laying the tiles.
If anyone wants a recommendation I would be happy to comply.
I think the product will speak for itself. Obviously the cost is higher than the price for asphalt. I thought the crew did a great job and I will recommend to anyone who inquires
Your installation crew was the worst. I had new facial boards installed and damn for sure they damaged pretty much all of them. They had to come back three times to fix the issues.
They were good, and they were there when they said they would be.
Very professional work and workers.
I would recommend this company when I can.
Interlock seems to be only metal roof installers, not roofers, as they were not helfpul at all in even recommending help to fixing our structural roof issues (when we discovered them in the process of installing). We had to find on our own resources another contractor to fix those issues first. Their overall work, however, and the quality of the materials seem to be satisfactory. But the above caveat makes us not comfortable recommending them to anyone if others face similar issues.
The product was great, but I have a couple of installation issues with the sub-contractor
The crew did a very good job. They were very cordial and answered all my questions very well.
