Pat Rudolf worked with my electrician to coordinate timing of each part of the repair.

I would not recommend them to a friend because I felt like the charges were very high. They charged me $2500.00 to do painting I could've done for $100.00.

We chose Ikon because they worked and coordinated with our insurance company and how the money was handled. However we were disappointed in how the renovation process was dragged on. Most of the time a subcontractor was only seen in our home working 2-3 days per week. We were told they would be starting the day at 8am, only to experience them to arrive mid morning or early afternoon.
The final product turned out beautiful and the project manager coordinated it well, it just went too slow.

Before dismantling and taking walls apart, and baseboards. Closets doors. I believe they should be pictures taken prior to it. So they know what needs to be replaced instead of having to prove to the builder. What was there and what wasn’t.

IKON Builders showed tremendous professionalism throughout the rebuild. I had a 4-unit apartment burn down. It was a complete remodel down to the studs. They worked together with the insurance company to get the property secured before they even came up with an estimate. They worked with me early in the process to make sure I had a design that met my criteria. They handled all the communication with the insurance adjuster so I didn't have to. Build quality was great. They don't cut corners, they just do it right the first time. They managed all the subcontractors and even when one of them made a costly mistake, IKON stepped up and covered the cost without hesitation. Issues always come up, but my project manager (Anthony) was very helpful at suggesting cost-effective solutions. I consider them one of the best in the field of major loss recovery. I would definitely use IKON if I had to do it all over again.

A couple of our neighbors had comment they had a portion of their walls replastered for a minor repair. Their walls were left with a smooth finish on the repair. Did not match the original walls pattern. They thought this was the state of today’s wall repair finish.



Not so with us.

Our neighbors liked that our walls pattern continued throughout the kitchen, bathroom and family room.

They could not tell where the original wall started and the repair ended.

Overall they did good work despite a manager change. However as a relatively small project our schedule got pushed around a lot and so my Dad didn't live long enough to see the kitchen restored after his accident. Partly this was bc IKON wouldn't rebuild the old cabinets or order appliances and we had to get a cabinet maker and we had to coordinate such things as the right size of the double oven cabinet. See below for other examples of delays and things that unnecessarily took multiple tries to get it right

Areas Of Satisfaction - Carmen was great. I really liked that I could sign digitally. I liked that it was fast and effective. They gave me a timeline and stuck to it. I didn't like that it took a long time, but it was not their fault. It was insurance. It was explained and was not just a waiting process. They said this person comes on this day, and this takes a week. They just explained things. I've had other people come in before that didn't make sense or it takes way longer. They were transparent.

We wanted to let you know that the Ikon team did a great job all around, and Franciso, Chico and Leo were a pleasure to work with! We've already told multiple friends and neighbors about the positive experience with Ikon, and we plan to meet with the Ikon team again soon to discuss other updates to our home.

I would never use icon Builders again. I believe they lowballed my expenses to the insurance company and made no effort to help prove the quality of what I had owned before. They didn't listen to the things I said and only cared if I had some sort of proof of what I told them. They didn't show up several times when they made an appointment to do so and the only time they seem to be any hurry about anything is when they wanted to pick up money. I never felt they were on my side in any way and believed they are far overpriced.

The beginning setup process with Ikon Builders was all very positive. My correspondence with our project manager was excellent. Everything was fine up until it was winding down. The project was winding down, then it was hard to reach anybody or get action after we signed the paper before it was done.

In general, the work was okay.

They were outstanding. They met all of my expectations.
