It was a great job, they were friendly and careful around the house with the doors. I am very pleased.

HomeFix Custom Remodeling Richmond did a good job on the roof. I cannot take that from them. They left items here that I have no use for, which is ridiculous. I understand the siding they left, but why did they leave the tacks that they use with a certain machine? I am being charged for them, and I do not think it is necessary.

I like that they showed up at 6:45 am when it was way below freezing, and worked hard, stayed on task, and stayed until it was too dark to be safe !

The installation work went very well, and Andrew - the crew leader - was very professional and knowledgeable. My issue was with the exorbitant price we were charged for a fairly small amount of labor and material to replace an outside sill on 2 windows. A woodpecker drilled a hole into the corner so the wood underneath was degraded - no other problem with the windows. The installation department's pricing guidelines for any additional work were the big problem. I saw exactly the small piece of wood cut to replace the old, and saw the labor involved. After spending over $20,000.00, it seemed shabby to charge $530.00 extra for that small about of work and material. This was after one of the installation crew set something heavy right on top of a planted Chrysanthemum, breaking two-thirds of the branches off, and Kristen in the office would not even consider paying for it! Another example that the crew leader advised me of was that if ANY of the brackets inside the window frames needed to be removed by the installation crew it would cost $25 PER WINDOW!!!! Crazy. My husband had previously done all of them and each one took about 1 minute to remove, so $25 seems pretty steep. It is difficult to contemplate recommending HomeFix to anyone after the horrible experience with Kristen, the office staff member with whom I dealt, AND the Sales Manager Michael Boucher, whom I contacted and sent photos to and never heard from him again, about the broken planting OR the high-priced fix of 2 sills. That lack of customer service is disgraceful, and definitely soured my experience with HomeFix.

They are excellent, and the information is excellent. They take exceptional care and work ethic. It was just amazing. There is always a problem or some people have attitudes. That didn't happen. The information they told me about the windows and the construction on what they were doing was remarkable. It was overwhelming. The care they took and the guys that were in and out of the house were so pleasant. I can't say enough about them. I am flabbergasted by how wonderful they were. Furthermore, I love the windows. They were different, but much improved and a way better quality than anything I have seen at this point. It is incredible. It is fearful to get someone to do something you can't do. They did such a great job, and it's guaranteed. It's just unbelievable. It's unusual, and the quality is great, from the crew to the windows itself.

I was skeptical of a person coming through the neighborhood recommending some repairs for my home. His name was Kenny G. . He was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, presented himself well. He said the only thing he saw was that the old gutters on my house could stand to be replaced. I agreed with him since I knew it had been time to replace them 4 or 5 years ago. They were 28 years old. He set up an appointment with a sales rep Lauren L. for the next day - which worked well for me. Then we chatted for another 5 minutes. That evening I was able to Google HomeFix Custom Remodeling - great reviews - Better Business Bureau A+ rating etc. From my Google'ing I knew HomeFix was a good reputable company.

Lauren L. showed up on time. We discussed replacing the gutters - what it entailed etc. We then went outside to get measurements, materials needed etc for pricing. I could tell she knew what she was doing. We then sat down to discuss pricing. She was very straightforward with the pricing - then the 15% off coupon discount from Kenny G's visit. Then she gave me a price good for a year - then gave me her best price if I decided to go forward with the project today - which was another nice discount from the "good for a year price". I had done some cost research prior to our meeting so I knew her price was in the ballpark. I agreed to go forward with the project and wrote her a check for the first part of my payment.

About a week later I received a call from scheduling to set up a date - August 1, 2024. The installation team (William and a team crew member - sorry I didn't get her name) showed up on that date. William and I discussed the project a little and a slight variation I wanted with the bottom of one downspout. He said that would not be a problem. It was a very hot day and William and his team member worked through the day. They did an EXCELLENT job - he even did the one downspout variation I wanted to perfection. When they completed the installation - William had me check everything to make sure I was satisfied. I was.

A few days later - I got a call from the office asking me about the installation and if I was satisfied. I told her I was VERY pleased. We then set up my final payment for the project. She said she would be sending my warranty information and final invoice showing the project was paid in full. The entire project went smoothly - great materials and installation and everyone I interacted with was wonderful. I'm a very satisfied customer.

We have recommended HomeFix Custom Remodeling to friends and family. If they hadn't been so great to work with, we would not have recommended them to anyone.

Send pictures of what was left on the roof promise to send some one to care for it light wiring issues and antenna broken know that it has been raining or they got paid so I don’t matter

I gave them a three because I had a mixup in the order and they reinstalled the mixup and broke the windows.

The work crew was awesome. Had some issues with the office but they worked them out.
