Excellent Job
Sales pressure was WAY too high. The original price was also WAY WAY WAY too high. After threatening to cancel the contract I was able to negotiate a reasonable price competitive to other contractors quotes.
The installation went okay. With a few caveats.
- The guys stayed WAY too late. Until after 10pm one night.
- The guys left the disconnect on the AC unplugged leaving the house very warm overnight. With 90+ degree days coming fast I had to pay $125 to have an AC guy come over and look at the unit to see what was wrong. Only for him to just plug the disconnect back in, write me an invoice, and then off he went.
- And they left SO MUCH garbage all over our yard!! All around the house. Nails, banana peels, orange peels, water bottles, Starburst wrappers, cigarette butts. They told me they would be back the next day to clean up. But they never did. We had to clean up behind them. I’m still finding nails all over the yard By the driveway. In the backyard where the dogs play.
The work was done, as promised. I’d recommmend the company to anyone..
Very professional and great job on the installation
The quality of service was very good. HomeFIx helped with my gutters, and I appreciate them.
The siding is beautiful. We went with Mystic Blue. We have gotten lots of complements on the job. Also the gutter crew found rot under the guttering. They did replace the wood and put up new gutters which look great.
I would be unlikely to recommend based on my lack of confidence in how the siding will hold up long-term based on what I would consider to be less than 5-star workmanship.
It was a great service. The reps made sure I understood everything.

The clean up after the job was unacceptable. I have picked up hundreds, maybe close to 1,000 roof nails all around the perimeter of my house. There was apparently no attempt to pass a magnet or any effort made in removing the nails.
The installers were very quick and professional.
I liked the way it was explained to what was going to be done and how. In a decent time frame.
Andrew is so professional and respectful. His team did a wonderful job on my home. I'm someone who never has a loss of words, but I did that day.
I have told all my friends about this home improvement. You are awesome.
The effenciency of the work done. The quality was as good, if not better than I anticipated.
Minimize the paperwork, make the phone calls more effective. ie, a text when the crew is on the way, the salesman could let you know if 4 others are calling regarding additional information

HomeFix is flexible on scheduling.
The crew was fast, efficient, and polite.
We have been trying for several days to reach someone within the hierarchy of HomeFix from the main office here in Richmond, and we're getting no response because we have some legitimate questions and issues that have not been closed, so we're not at all pleased, and at this point, we would not recommend HomeFix to anyone.
Workers did not cover up my window AC. So I placed a towel over it when I heard debris falling on it. I found at least 3 roof tiles that wasn't laying down flat. Brought it to their attention and it was fixed. The roof vent appears to have a dip in it. Did not see it right away before work crew left.
