The roof replacement was performed on a day where the winds were 25 mph with gusts to 45 mph. The roof was a hip roof with a lot of vertical sections. The new shingles were flapping in the wind as they were installed. I selected Home Pro based on there knowledge of roofing, they said they would wait until mid May or June to install the new roof in order to give the shingles an opportunity to seal together properly. This did not happen, they installed the roof under some of the worst conditions I can think of for my situation. Only time will tell if the shingles will seal properly. The only way to fix it is to remove the shingles on the windward side of the building and install new ones during a hot summer day in order to get the most effective sealing against the high winds which they will experience over the life of the roof.

The house was less than ideal with lots of additions and different roof lines everywhere. The entire crew went above and beyond to make it right and worked through numerous surprises and some how still got it done in a day. I couldn't be happier.
