The initial meeting with John Phillips sounded so promising, but once the actual work started, so did the problems. The workers/roofers barely spoke English, so it was very difficult to communicate with them. However, they did seem to be very hard workers. Unfortunately, they damaged one of our gutters and an area around one of our windows. Trying to get that fixed was a bit of a nightmare! Tyler Salyards, the project manager was not very good at communicating with us. We often had to reach out to him to keep things moving to get the damages fixed. Overall, it was not the experience that we were promised.

The Project Manager was not here on June 2, 2025 when the roofers arrived. It was hard to communicate with the roofing team because they did not speak English.

I was pleased with the work. Everything was done according to the agreed schedule, and Tyler the project manager came up with a good work around for an unforeseen problem that arose. The actual work crew behaved very well, doing what they were supposed to do conscientiously and with minimum delay or distraction. Great work ethic. All in all, a professional job. I would certainly recommend Home Genius.

From the time the gentleman stopped by our house to offer us a free estimate to the time Eric came by to make an inspection, everyone was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Professional, quality, lifetime warranty
You were slightly misleading. The project manager was not on sight to address my immediate concerns. He was juggling more than 3 sites. This ended up being a problem. When the dumpster was delivered, it was delivered in the very narrow driveway of my neighbor. We were lucky that she was not inconvenienced by this issue although there was damage to her driveway that she never noticed as well as digging up my yard.
The dumpster was to be delivered to my backyard and than to my "parking lot" beside my house.
For two weeks i found it almost impossible to get the project manager to call me concerning a $35,076.00. check I gave him to pay the balance owed and had many calls from the finance company to open an account for this project which i did not want or need. Tyler Cherilla (main project manager) had to call me an address this concern which took about 15 minutes. I picked up 53 nails and metal with my magnet around the house. Would of thought I could get a copy of the 33 sheets of osb sheeting.
Overall, they're a great company. They're very knowledgeable, quick, and friendly—exactly what you look for in a company.

Home Genius did a wonderful job on my new roof. Everything they said would happen did happen on those dates. The sales person was thorough and very knowledgeable. It was all done in one day which I appreciated. I would recommend them.

Very pleased the work and clean up was completed in 2 days. All staff was friendly. Postponed several times due to rain delays which is understandable, but was kept informed throughout the process. One think we DID NOT like was the hard sell approach, that the customer had to make up their mind right then and there when the salesperson was there or the price went up $5,000 the next day. We are not talking a $50 item from Amazon, we are talking an $18,000 purchase. Give a person a day or so to think about and process the decision without the hard sell of "Do it now, or the price goes up." Did not like that, as the salesman lives only about 10 minutes away and could have stopped back in a day or two to do the paperwork after we had time to think about it. He would not have had to do the presentation again, so actually, time wise it would have only cost him 20 extra minutes to return in a day or so. Not that he wasn't knowledgeable and easy to work with, he was, the issue is your hard sell approach. Other than that, we were very satisfied with the project.
