They were also very willing to work around our schedule, especially when we weren't able to be home (not that you need to be if they're working) but if we had to leave our dog at home and asked them to not work, they were willing to work around our schedule.

Hivex was great. Pricing was detailed and understandable from the beginning and never changed. Throughout the inevitably complex process we always felt "in the loop" due to clear and timely communication. Having a dedicated project manager that was available to answer questions at all times was a constant reassurance (plus Dimitrius was just fun to work with!). Our project (a completely custom home theater space and spa-like bathroom) was complicated, but the professionalism and skill of the Hivex team made it worry-free. A big "thank you" to the whole team.

Chris, the owner, and others involved were upfront on every bit of the cost and every bit of the materials. That was probably the biggest thing for me. I can't stand it when contractors don't tell you the whole story. HIVEX Basements was really good about being upfront about everything.

Our "go to guy", NATE has been super in all areas such as communication, explanation of any issues, knowledge of every trade, & creative suggestions! All the trades-people have been very diligent in their specialties as well.
