We have had two excellent renovation experiences with Heartland. For our first one, we chose Heartland after interviewing a number of local companies. For that project, they remodeled our master bed/bath and added a portico to our front door. We were so satisfied with that experience and quality, that we did a kitchen renovation with them too. We recommended them to a good friend who also contracted with them for a major renovation which is underway. We have only positive things to say about our experience with Heartland - from scoping and design through construction and finishing, we found them reliable, reasonable, and high quality. Through great communication and close engagement we were able to easily work through any unforeseen events (e.g. inspection hiccups, supply chain shortages, schedule flexes). It takes patience and attention to detail on both sides, and we got that from the Heartland team. We would use them again if we had more projects!

We have been a repeat client over the years. NVS redid our bathrooms and a kitchen at our prior home. This time -- as always -- the work was great but we really felt that noone was really managing the process, advocating for our interests, overseeing progress, or communicating with us proactively on an ongoing basis. This was very disappointing and has us questioning if in fact we'd recommend NVS. I want to note that we more than understand logistics issues, etc.; this went far beyond that.

I consider NVS the "gold standard" of kitchen/bath and other home renovation projects. I have done five projects with them. I know they will make everything right and "go the extra mile" to do so. I scheduled the last couple of projects for when I planned to be out of town and we communicated by phone and email. I knew they would let me know if anything unexpected came up.
