Salesperson unnecessarily talks so much nonsense

The salesman came only to make the sale and threw it over the fence to the project manager.
The project manager only came once early on and never came back to look at the progress or quality of the work. I’m very disappointed with that.
My walls were damaged during the window installation, and it was very clear that this damage occurred. They should have inspected the work fixed it before leaving the job. I have photos of the damage.
Why did the workmen have to throw the old windows into the dumpster and break them. I’m still cleaning up glass on my driveway!
On a positive side, the workmen that came out were very pleasant and hard-working. I really blame the supervision or lack there of.

The specific reasons for the 5 star "Likely to Recommend" rating will be covered in the subsequent questions, but to set the context here, the project included: 1) an Edco Enhanced Metal Slate roof, 2) installation of cedar siding (customer request) on the rear dormer of the house, with new flashing and water barrier, 3) replacement of fascia and rakes, and 4) all new gutters and downspouts .

We had a mechanically seamed standing seam roof and Hardie siding installed. Overall, we are very satisfied. The roof looks amazing and the detailed work gets compliments. We no longer have to worry about any more roof leaks for decades to come.

We normally prefer to deal with local retailers for large purchases such as windows. We saw an offer at Costco for windows that exceeded what we had gotten locally. We decided to use Global Home Improvement, the Costco source, instead of a local Marvin retailer. If we had purchased the windows locally, we would have had to find an installer. Global provided quality Marvin windows and installation. We were impressed with the 2 installers, who were true craftsman and knew their trade. They worked non- stop for 7 hours and cleaned up their work area before they left. We would recommend Global to Friend.

Yes I would definitely recommend Global Home Improvement to anyone looking to upgrade their home.

I'm happy with the widows and doors, but I'm rather disappointed with the overall quality of finishing work on the siding. The project manager gave us the impression that the results were pretty standard and that one it rained the marks on the siding would go away, like it was dusty from installation. It's rained a lot since and there are still many spots that just look sloppy. This was after having walked through and pointed out numerous spots that needed addressed. Even the window trim looks sloppy in several areas, including some caulking or paint that doesn't seem to match. Several areas of caulk are sloppy. We did express to the PM during installation that we felt the finish of the siding work was not on par with what we felt it should be, but again were reassured that it was standard. I have questioned my own expectations, but after discussing with some of my friends with Hardie siding I feel my expectations of the finishing work are reasonable.

I was told by my salesman, Barry if I recommend them to someone else, and the job was done, I get a $250 gift card. Never got it. I called the salesman and he said he was no longer with the company and good luck in getting the gift card I was promised. Not too happy right now. I wanted more work to be done but Global didn't come through
