I have referred two neighbors since having the service.
GFedale was very easy to deal with throughout the entire process.
I like the personal attention and the local contact.
They were efficient and personable, and everything went how I wanted.
Great Crew and Quality work at a fast pace!!
The material prices were unreasonable.
To date, irregularities in roof appearance have not been addressed even though reported to the Project Manager for the job. I was told that it was being reported to GAF, but I have had no follow up actions taken. $16K spent to have a roof that is visibly warped, but not yet corrected even though reported promptly and pictures provided.
G. Fedale Roofing and Siding is unprofessional.
Actually we have had to rely on our son-in-law for this roofing job as we are out of state at the moment. But he gave good comments throughout the work. We have used G Fedale for years and thus we knew it would be done right by replacing the old roof which gave us problems mostly after storms. We have been very pleased with the crew, the timing, how they clean up before the end of the job. Thank You!
G. Fedale provided high quality material and workmanship on my relatively large siding and roofing job. I didn't have a direct competitive quote on the final scope of work but my impression is that they are on the pricey side but offer consummate value as they worked to get everything done to my satisfaction. One area where they need improvement is communication skills both internally and with the customer which in my case led to some frustrations and delayed completion timing. While I doubt communication is a strength of any contractor, improving communication could make Fedale a truly outstanding company.
Honestly, our overall experience hasn’t been great. We paid a lot of money and feel like we had to follow up a lot during the project, instead of the project manager communicating with us more proactively and effectively. Many of our neighbors recommended your company, so maybe the experience depends on the project manager you get. If so, that’s unfortunate and something that should be fixed for a more consistent experience.
Rob Orwig and his team led this very large and complex roofing project from start to finish with much success. The project was very organized from start to finish including comprehensive clean up. The actual installation was completed by obviously very experienced workers and supervision was terrific. Customer - Company communication from start to finish was the best I ever experienced with any project. Everything was completed in accordance with the original proposal as outlined by Rob Orwig. I am completely satisfied.
The only issue was the delay in starting, due to a back up of jobs due to COVID. The work was very good and completed on time.
Great and timely service, Open lines of communications when timing changes are needed.
I strongly would recommend others to G. Fedale Roofing and siding. However, their clean up needs to be a little better. I saved some money by trying out this company.
Sales person was very knowledgeable and helpful. I wish that information provided was carried through to the install phase of the project. The install was subcontracted out and led by a team who did not actually read our contract. Underlayment was installed with staples even though their sales pitch was that they only use stinger moisture prevention nails....one of the reasons we chose them. No magnetic clean up was provided and hundreds of nails were left around the perimeter of our home in the grass where our kids play.
They were very thorough, professional, and courteous! We were very pleased with the results. They did a great job!
Roof looks great. Crew is respectful and professional. My only criticism is it took six days to fully complete the install. A section of my roof was left exposed (briefly during a snow flurry) from Monday to Sat. because they left to start another job. I suggested they finish one job before moving on to the next.
A bit difficult with the distance from their office to us and the pandemic and differing rules between states.
This company has a great attitude to consumers, great work, and clean up well after themselves.
I was not impressed with the first effort to install the siding on my house. I am still not happy with the outcome of the corners on the dormers which makes up almost three quarters of the job. I was not happy with the capping that was done or not done. You came back and fixed the dented capping and covered the returns at the corners of the roof, but it should not be my job to find these things for you. Your inspector had already approved of the job before I pointed out these problems. there were 1/4" to 1/2" gaps on the corner pieces, there are still 1/4" gaps now. I was told that its the best you can do with the materials provided. ( which were supplied from G Fedale ) I did not like the fact that I was sent an email the day before that you where coming out to do the work. I do not check my emails every day. I did not like the fact that on a gray siding you installers used white trim names. I did not like the fact that they would caulk one side of a door and not the other, in one case they use gray caulk in one spot and white in another. It has been corrected but only after I said something. well that's enough on that.
The roof is terrific, although it took quite awhile to get on the schedule and to work out the details with our insurance company. Tom, who we worked with, was incredible.
The project manager was very attentive and consistently keep us informed.
They are very professional and on time.
I would not hesitate to recommend G. Fedale to a friend. Staff members were very accessible and very responsive to my questions and/or concerns. The installer was pleasant, did an exceptional job, and left the work area clean. It was a pleasure to work with Chris and Jon.
GuildQuality partners with it's member companies to survey their customers and collect detailed feedback on their behalf. By administrating surveys as an unbiased third party we ensure that customers have the oppurtunity to express their true feelings about a project and that members get the most accurate and detailed feedback possible.
When a survey contains the "Review" question, that customer's answer will show up on the member's profile page as a public review. Members have the option to turn off reviews but cannot hide individual reviews. It's all or nothing. This means that any reviews you see on a GuildQuality profile page are real comments left by the customer and verified by GuildQuality.
Each item listed under "Customer satisfaction" represents a specific question asked by GuildQuality to customers of G. Fedale Roofing and Siding as part of our survey process. The bar graph and percentage next to the question stand for the percentage of respondents that were "Satisfied" about that particular question.
A customer is considered satisfied about about a question if they answered with 4 or more stars out of 5. For example if the "Communication" question is at 95% satisfaction that means that 95% of survey respondents answered that question with 4 or more stars out of 5 possible stars.More about surveys
