Overall the company is very good and our basement turned out beautiful. With any renovation in your home you have to be aware of what is going on each step of the way. We had a wonderful project manager, but still found things that needed to be addressed. For the most part the company addressed our concerns. We liked that everything was handled by one company and we didn’t have to find specific vendors ourselves. We enjoyed knowing the company handles all from design to production and finishing. We also appreciated the cleaning at the end. Also the project finished on time which is rare in the world of renovations. Communication was great.

After a catastrophic sump failure and basement flood, I contacted Finished Basements Plus and decided to renovate the basement from top to bottom—new floor-to-ceiling cabinets, new Triple Safe sump system, new polyaspartic flooring. The project was not without its bumps in the road (like old cast iron pipes collapsing under the basement slab), but the incredibly responsive team from Finished Basements Plus were with me every step of the way. They were diligent about finding solutions to each new issue that cropped up during the renovation process, even calling or coming out on weekends to make sure we got to the root of the problem. Now, I have a bone-dry basement with gorgeous custom cabinetry and a durable new floor, with the added peace of mind of having a sump system that (literally) can't fail. While everyone at Finished Basements Plus was great to work with, I have to give special shout-outs to Catrina and Dakota who represent their brand with outstanding professionalism and kindness; carpenters Jyri and Robert for their impeccable cabinetry install; and, especially, Operations Managers Steve Marco and Craig Iverson who treated me with boundless patience and kindness and went out of the way to see this project through to fruition, no matter what it took.
