Setting up an appointment for an initial bid was easy to do. The project manager answered my questions in a timely manner and provided additional information as needed.

EMA did a great job replacing our 50-year-old cedar shake siding with James Hardie shingle-type siding. They also replaced our front porch ceiling with Hardie panels, which came out looking terrific. In fact, they ended up having to practically rebuild the support structure for the porch ceiling, since what was there previously was more like a Masonite fiber-board product. The cost for the rebuild was very reasonable, and I'm sure will last for many years. The installers were very friendly, and always willing to discuss what they were doing and why.

I had fiber cement siding put up to replace/cover my 45 year old cedar siding. Both board and batten and lap siding were used to retain more of the character of the cedar siding. An area of rot/damage under the old cedar siding was discovered and repaired before the wrap and siding were applied.

Quality work and easy to work with

I have nothing to compare it to, but I cannot imagine another crew being better than these guys.

Never buy a wood house. But if you did, then EMA are the guys to call for James Hardie re-siding. Easy to work with and OUTSTANDING results. In my case, there was a lot of hidden wood rot under then old cedar siding, EMA let me repair the damage myself over a 2 month period and they never once complained about getting the job done. When I finished the repairs, they came back promptly and finished the siding job. My house looks GREAT thanks to EMA. Highly recommended.

Even after a year, my house looks absolutely beautiful. E.M.A. went above and beyond. A month after they finished the job a very nasty squirrel started chewing on the house. They came out to solve the problem, even though it wasn't their issue. I really appreciated that.

I found them very easy to work with. They were very accommodating with what I wanted to be done, and in understanding what I was wanting them to do. Also, they were very helpful because I couldn't decide on certain colors and textures. They were very helpful with that.

I can't say enough great things about EMA. They weren't the cheapest, but worth every penny. We had siding, roof, gutters, and trim completed by them in 2021. It was several weeks of work, but each day the site was cleaned up and the workers were courteous, patient, and adaptable with my many questions/changes throughout the process. The roofing crew worked dawn until after dusk and got our complicated roof done in half the time expected. All craftsmanship met or exceeded expectations. Project managers were responsive and easy to work with -- kept me from having to hire multiple subs to complete the different aspects of this project. EMA even handcrafted new planter boxes for my front porch -- they're just above and beyond! Two months after completion, we had a minor gutter issue and they were here within a week to correct the design. We had multiple neighbors stop by just to compliment the crews and results from EMA. EMA was the absolute best.

This is the third project over the span of 8 years that EMA Construction has completed on my home and the biggest to date. This time I needed the T1-11 siding replaced on the south and north sides of my home. Sue was quick to return my call and Eddie was out in a couple of days to give the house a once over.
Eli and Kevin were prompt and friendly. Eli kept me informed throughout the process and I appreciated his attention to detail. The site was cleaned daily. The finished product was excellent. It was a pleasure from start to finish.

Tony and Sue on the sales and administrative end were amazing to work with from beginning to end of the process. They communicated clearly and were extremely quick to respond. Pat on the construction end was dedicated and one of the hardest working construction members we have ever had! He clearly communicated and talked through changes and made sure we were pleased with the smaller details as well as finishing touches. The site was kept clean every day and safe for our small kids.We are so pleased with their work and would quickly hire them for future projects!

(I'd give 4.5 stars out of 5 if I could, as my cons are fairly nitpicky.)PROS: I appreciated EMA's sales staff and process. I felt everybody I dealt with throughout the process was honest and cared. We appreciated our workmen, who were amiable and very hardworking, strived for excellent work, and talked to us about what they were doing. When the old siding came off, we were surprised at some issues within the walls of the 50-year old house, but EMA and the workers (for a charge) were quite able to address those issues. And the finished job was very good work with which we are pleased (which is ultimately the goal, right?)... And a sidenote: the company apparently gives a percentage of all profits to a worthy local charity. (Very cool!)CONS: After removal of the old siding, we probably found 200 old nails and screws in our mulch over the next week. (Perhaps in the future they could put down tarps or else spend 30 minutes using a magnetic pickup tool after demolition?)...And there was one board on the house that the installers started to put on in what we thought was a wrong color. They showed us their paperwork, we showed them our renderings, and I don't think the two matched for that one single board (which he called fascia but I disagreed). But, after brief discussion and a look at our renderings, they did amiably install it exactly how we wanted. Again, I'll emphasize that the final product was very good and the staff and workers were great. I'd give a 4.5 (if I could), based mostly on the nails in the yard.

We had the weathered side of our 42 year old cedar sided house re-sided with James Hardie Board Siding, and had it painted to match the rest of the house. We chose EMA Construction because they specialize in both cedar and Hardie Board siding. The crew was extremely skilled, easy to work with, showed up on time, and took their time to do a first quality job. We are very happy with the final results, I would give them 6 stars if I could.

Eddie and his very capable crew of Kevin Pat and Eli, with some help by Tim got our project done in three weeks, which was about what Eddie predicted. I never had to worry about the crew showing up for work, were there every day on time. Very experienced in installing Hardie products and were willing to explain what Hardie requirements they were following. Also suggested a few solutions to a few issues that surfaced during the teardown.
