There was a young man there and we were having issues. My husband is sick. He got out of the car and couldn't move. My friend asked the young man if he could help. He came to help and couldn't get him to move so he picked him up and carried him up five steps to get into the house. It was amazing. I am still astounded to think of what he did for us. He was there for whatever we needed. He was great. That's the way they operate. They do what the customer needs, not just what they agreed to pay for. It was greatly appreciated.

JD Norris listened to our initial vision, came up with a design concept after visits to the Showroom, helped us make tough decisions due to cost constraints and working within a budget with a lot of give and takes until we reached a suitable design that met our overall expectations. When project went into production, main contact was the Lead Carpenter (Sergey) which was a skilled craftsman that I communicated daily during the implementation. He listened to our needs, helped expain the production process, and answered our questions. Craftsmanship was at a very high level with the end result exceeding our expectations. Job site was kept clean and orderly throughout the project with dust control measures put in place. At the project completion, the site was meticulous inside the house, outside driveway, and inside the garage where they stored their materials. Never would have known a remodel had taken place! From Day 1, our job was professional and perfectly managed. Seth and Mark “built” a “wall” closing off the work area to prevent dust and debris from getting all over the house and our little dog from getting out the front door. The HEPA machine is fantastic! The demolition of the Jacuzzi tub was quick and efficient. Mark’s car pulled up to the curb every day at 7:45 a.m. Seth was right behind him. They worked every day, all day, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. When they left each day, everything was clean and orderly. If they did any work in the garage, the garage floor was completely swept clean.

JD Norris of DreamMaker Bath and Kitchen of Aiken provided a complete redesign and remodel of a kitchen in our seasonal townhome in downtown Aiken. He instilled in us trust and confidence that he was the best contractor for our project. Please note that we were not on site during the majority of this renovation.
Design: We met in JD’s showroom and settled on a design based on his vast experience and our vision of a new kitchen space. Samples are there for you to touch and compare.
Cost: There are the nice to haves and the need to haves! JD provided us with outstanding choices to fit our budget.
Contract: We received a contract that spelled out the all the specifics of our project: expectations from both parties, payment schedule, responsibilities, timeline, etc. Any changes required a change order to keep the project on track.
Craftsmen: We observed nothing but the finest craftsman on our remodel. JD is a true professional and skilled craftsman. We were fortunate to have Harold on our project, another skilled and creative craftsman.
Environmental control: General construction and drywall removal generate significant dust and dirt. JD had an industrial portable filter running throughout the project keeping dust to a minimum. Craftsman used booties to protect flooring when entering the home from the outside. The job site was meticulously cleaned everyday.
Above and beyond: JD facilitated the replacement of all the old fragile PVC plumbing in the entire townhome. It had been a major concern of ours-however no more. He also lifted and stabilized a section of our floor that was found to be sagging (outside the original scope of the project).
In conclusion, our kitchen was completed in a timely manner, ahead of schedule in spite of all the long lead times and on budget. Above all, we have a beautiful kitchen that we, friends and family will enjoy for many years. Do not hesitate to contact JD Norris and DreamMaker Bath and Kitchen for any home project.

JD Norris and DreamMaker was my first and last choice to perform my kitchen remodel. Mr. Norris has diligently built a rock-solid reputation of top-notch craftsmanship and professionalism over the course of a career among his peers, his employees, and his customers. I personally appreciated the method Mr. Norris used in planning our project. There were numerous meetings on site and in the showroom to address the project specifications in detail. There were numerous calls, texts, and emails to further facilitate attention and communication which also denoted much thought and personal attention invested in my project. If I had to do the project all over again, I would again go to Mr. Norris. Period.

Schedule was adhered to. Communication of what would be done and when was very good. Seth checked in and out every day, relaying what he would be working on and what had been completed. DM kept the work site and adjoining areas clean. When problems were discovered, DM resolved them promptly and without dispute.

The Show Room provided a large variety of material, so we could pick out the various items for the project in one place. DM's use of a interior designer was helpful in choosing our selection of material and matching floors, shower, cabinet and sink.

My husband and I are very pleased with the work done by DreamMaker. We had an invisible water leak in our master bathroom that did extensive damage to the floor/subfloor/joists before we were aware of its existence. We understood that the job would be extensive and it was important to have it contracted by knowledgeable professionals who took pride in their work. We were not disappointed.

DreamMaker was able to complete the job in a timely manner and when they finished the job, they picked up and cleaned up so that their work area was left clean and tidy. They were clearly proud of their workmanship and so were we. JOB WELL DONE!

Work began each morning as we were told; each day, precautions were taken to protect floor and at end of day, sweeping was done (which I did not expect at all!). Everything was very professional and when our guest bathroom was completed, I was so surprised that not only was the bathroom cleaned, but surrounding rooms as well - this included mopping and window cleaning.

The material used by DM is first quality. The material selection process was coordinated very well by JD. The layout, design, and planning was all very professional.
