I'd recommend them because the guys were nice.
The Dream Home Roofers workers came at a reasonable time. They did a decent cleanup. They did not bother me, which was fine. A worker used an outlet for one of his tools, but that was fine with me.
Very committed and trustworthy
I would never recommend Owens Corning to anyone.
Artie was very informational and really took his time to explain to me what was going on and what I needed done.
I would be glad to recommend them.
Dream Home Roofers was efficient and fully handled the job in one day.
My experience was good.
The salesperson used a high-pressure sales tactic. Had I agreed to his first price, I would have overpaid for my roof. I continued to say no, and the price got lower and lower. I do not feel comfortable recommending them to friends that will have to deal with this issue because I feel like it's a trust issue.
It went as expected.
The sales reps were very knowledgeable about roofs and gave us different options for the type of materials and roof we wanted. They checked the attic and took pictures to share with us.They followed up by emails, phone calls and text messages during the whole process from start to finish.
They are very expensive.
They did an excellent work, and I was satisfied with what they did.
Great
They did great work. They also cleaned up very well.
Dream Home Roofers is expensive. Their services are good but the price is high.
Dream Home Roofers left a mess. They said they would clean it up. They worked after dark on the roof, so I don't know how they saw what they were doing.
The roof it's self
They did a great job and were constantly cleaning up after each segment. The only drawback is that we are still waiting for the soft wash and warranty from Owens Corning.
They are professional, clean, and did the job in a timely manner. They did the job perfectly.
I love the speed and how they handled themselves. The roofers did a fantastic job.
They were very expensive. No one I know would spend that much on a roof.
Dream Home Roofers sold the job to a subcontractor. The supervisor was not at the job. I had to speak to the sub who did not speak English and the project manager who I do not know who he worked for. I had to be hands on myself.
The contractor had us turn off the electricity because my spotlight cables were going across the roof line. They cut the cables and said they could not put them back on top of the roof because they could not destroy the roof. They wanted to leave them hanging and not tuck them in the siding during a thunderstorm. I told them they could not do that because it would break my window. This knocked all my power out on the right side of the house. I also tipped the contractor $100 to put my new fan inside my gazebo after the roof was installed. It does not work, and I do not have power on the side of my house. Dream home sent the contractor back to fix this stuff and he did not fix it. He said he does not know how to fix it since he is not an electrician. He had gone to Home Depot and got yellow cable to replace the cables and my house is white. The spotlight does not work, and the plugs do not work. Everything is turned on downstairs, but nothing works on one side of my house. I am really not satisfied with the electrical issues. As far as the quality of my roof I have compared it with my neighbor's roof. The neighbor's roofers left the materials on top of the house. When Dream Home delivered, they put the materials where I wanted them and waiting until there was no rain coming down before they opened the supplies. They finished the work in 1 day. I did not have to worry about the material being wet or out there being unattractive. They were good with the roof installation. The quality of the roof is okay. I like the way the roof was done and am satisfied. If I recommend, I recommend with caution. I would recommend them for the quality roof but if they do any damage and need to repair, they are not skilled to repair. When he cut my wires inside the gazebo it did something. They cut a wire they should not have cut. I was not satisfied with that. I called the company, and they brought the person back out that cut the wires. He does not know what he is doing, and I do not like to keep going back and forth. I would use them again because of the quality but would recommend with caution.
The roofers were very good and cleaned up perfectly. They work like a well oiled machine
I have actually already recommened Dream Home Roofers to a friend
Everyone was very kind and professional.
They finished in timely manner.
They did a good job working on my roof. The cleanup was not good, and we were upset about it. I have tried calling about a number of issues I am having. They moved my patio furniture and did not put it back where it was. While they were working on the roof a rainstorm came in, and they did not protect the roof now I have wet spots on the ceiling.
No f/u from Colby. Multiple calls. Workers peeing in our yard.
They were very thorough with what they did. They were timely. The work was done on time.
They were professional and fast. They cleaned up very well.
HOW QUICKLY IT WAS DONE
the only reason i pulled the trigger to get a new roof was because of mold developing near the eve where i have a chimney - yes the roof needed to be replaced but i was going to look next year. i was told the two pieces of plywood that had the mold would be replaced and by quote had for 3 pieces of wood. the roofers said because they did not see any outside damage they did not replace it. i cannot sell a home in PA with mold on the wood. now when i go to sell - i have to have the roof ripped off and replaced and i have a very long payment term for this company and i am not sure how i am going to do this . they installed the drip line in an aweful manner - it was jammed up around the rain gutter connections, the metal is kinked and it looks terrible. i had to have them come back to fix that. and i asked why there was a piece of roofing shingle that was placed on the top of my vent cap & caulked in place? the project manager, or whoever he was, told me that the end of the cap was flipping up and they felt they had to secure it for wind. well thats about the most ignorant response i ever heard. the roof already had a vent which means there is a 2 inch gap between the roof sheets. why would you put a nail in the middle with an extra piece of shingle where there is no wood ? it should have been nailed better on the outside edges. and then caulk? i guess i will have to get up on the roof in three to five years to re caulk. i am so disappointed. they were more interested in selling shingles than being a roofing company. Dream home roofers they are not. shingle sellers, they are. never again
I like that it's not raining in my kitchen anymore unfortunately it's still raining in my kitchen because it's raining in a different spot and they won't give me an appointment to have it checked to see where it's coming from I may just change the score if you keep sending me this survey!
They were fast and efficient.
It looks like they did a great job on my roof, but I had to stay on top of things. The man came for gutters, but he wasn't going to do the Leafguard, so I had to get ahold of them. He was going to put in guards, but not Leafguard. His paperwork said no Leafguard and I paid an extra $1,000. There was a conflict in the communication or paperwork, I don't know, but the actual work that got done was very good, but I did have to get in touch with the company.
Worked from 8:00 inches morning till 8:30 (dark) at night ,came back first thing in the morning and finished things up, they were backing down the driveway when the gutter crew was coming in.
My daughter didn't sign the loan papers.
Men we polite, friendly. Worked together like a good team. Come on time, immediately went to work and continued thru the day. Had a lunch break and right back to work. Knew their stuff, very neat and cleaned up so well you would have never known they were there.
Fantastic roofing job! Look great!!
The main issue was that when it came to getting a quote, Dream Home Roofers reassured me in regard to the quality, pricing, and communication, but when it came to actually installing the roof, there was an issue where the quality was not the first priority. A hole was left in the roof and just papered over. Had I not discovered it, it would have been left there. In that regard, what else have I not seen or come across to report to Dream Home Roofers? At the end of the day, I am going to hire an inspector to make sure there is nothing else that was inadequately installed and no other issues.
After I agreed on the proposal, Dream Home Roofers left me to fend for myself. They said they were sending their people, but they sent a subcontractor. The subcontractor "project manager" and I had to fight over the phone about the scope of the work. We had a difference of opinion on what was included and what was not. What the subcontractor was telling me (he introduced himself as the project manager but was a subcontractor) was that I wouldn't get a new skylight. I was told I would get a new skylight. Once he agreed, he brought the smallest skylight. After a protracted conversation, he agreed he had to give me the skylight, but it was wrongly measured and was the smallest skylight. He tried to convince me they could put pieces of wood around it to make it work. I said, "Absolutely not!" We had a few exchanges with the project manager. Finally, he agreed. No, I would not recommend them because they did not come back and support me. They just sold the contract to a subcontractor. I'm okay with that, but when they leave me alone with the subcontractor and don't get involved, I don't recommend that. The roofers who worked here were good. My problem was with the project manager who wanted to convince me to let them provide not the same size skylight, arguing with me about why I should make them put the smallest skylight in place of the biggest skylight I had. When I contacted the workers, they all agreed it was the wrong size. It wasn't a well-coordinated contract.
Everything went well. The salespeople were excellent.
Dream Home Roofers was very good.
They were very professional, they did a fantastic job, and they did it very quickly.
I am just happy with everything.
They were efficient and expedient in getting the job done quickly.
They were very professional, and they did what they said they were going to do. I didn't have any problems with them at all.
They were very professional and got everything done as promised.
The service was great from beginning to end. There was a slight issue during the process, but they fixed it.
