DaBella Exteriors LLC, is a company that should not exist. They supposedly specialize in Hardie Board siding installations but their siding work is sloppy, amateurish and unprofessional. I have cracked panels and areas where the siding work was never finished as defined in the contract. The siding work they did do was cut unevenly in places leaving gaps and exposing the interior portions of my home to the elements.

Their trim work is also done poorly were is is cut wrong and installed incorrectly.

Other concerns with their siding work include siding pieces not nailed to the wall and finally the actual nails used have failed within nine months with half of the nails covered with rust. Many of the nails are working themselves out of the siding and the rust is bleeding down the siding and trim work.

Their caulking work is sloppy and many areas the caulking is pulling off the walls or is so beaded up it looks like a child applied it. In some areas of the house they never completing the caulking around the windows and trim. They also left the siding a mess with smudge marks and exposed nails as well as the area around the home with their trash and debris.

DaBella Exteriors in Oregon does not stand behind their work and their idea of costumer service is to treat costumers poorly. Their managers are combative and to try to bully you in giving up instead of doing the right thing and fixing their mistakes. It has been 10 months since they completed the work, came back once five months later for one day to try and fix it, but they never finished the work.

DaBella Exterior is only about making money and not doing the work they are contracted to do. My advice is work with a local small scale contractor for siding work, even if it takes more leg work to get them on board, the chances are the prices will be more reasonable and you will be treated fairly.

In addition, DaBella is listed as James Hardie Elite Preferred Contractor. When contacting James Hardie about their program supporting a company that does terrible work and treat costumers just as bad they say they will look into it but nothing happens for the homeowner. They are obvious in a tight relationship and my advice is to work and a different cement siding company like Allura. There product is made in the USA and they do not have a program to scam hardworking Americans.

Protect yourself, your home and your piece of mind and stay clear of these two companies.

We were pleasantly surprised by the end result of the James Hardy siding. It looks really good and what we've experienced on the inside is even better. Neighborhood sounds (traffic, construction, etc) where muffled so much more. It's winter here in Park City and our heat comes on less now so our carbon footprint as well as our heating expense has been reduced! We wish we had done this years ago. It was worth the expense.

The service we received was on a stellar level. The night Izzie came and did the presentation, he presented the product, and we signed up immediately. He was as professional, curtious, and polite as one could ever be. We enjoyed him, and he tolerated our dog, who was jumping all over him. We signed up for the windows that red hot minute. The windows arrived sooner than they thought, so we were excited about that. A team of six guys came out, and they worked as a true team. My husband used to work in the health department, and I am a retired nurse. We both commented that we never saw that kind of teamwork in our past professions. They had one guy on each window; one took the window out, the next put the window in, and then the next one came and caulked it. They were synchronized and totally into teamwork, and they did a great job. We are really excited.

How often in everyday life does someone have a conversation about the roof on their house? Only when it doesn't do what its designed to do by leaking, when and if it need repair, and when asked "Who did your roof?". Other than that, it's "...just the roof." Not much else to say, is there? And although I know I'll probably go years without ever actually seeing the roof DaBella installed on the back of my house, I know it's as of good quality as those parts we can see from the front. Our original roof was 17 y/o, at the end of its life, had leaks, and needed removal and replacement. It had to be done, and DaBella was there at the right time. I would recommend DaBella to anyone. I know I got everything I paid for.

Everything was good except for the time and the timely manner. It took a long time for them to do it. Once they got to my house, it was just fine.

They shower it’s beautiful now that it’s finally done, but it took a lot longer than expected because they ordered the wrong color the first time. They didn’t clean up very well after. There is still silicone on the shower walls that I can’t get off, even after 3 hours of cleaning.

The installers were very professional.

Don’t use this company. They say whatever they think is going to get them through the door and lie to you about why you should use them, like that the prices are higher because they pay the workers a living wage, they recycle all materials, and the biggest lie “ any materials not used will be credited back to you”. They subcontract out, they charge you for materials that weren’t used. And the real kicker was that they didn’t finish the work. When contacted about these issues, Haley assured us that we would be receiving checks in the mail immediately and then stopped answering and never got back to us. Steven the district manager sure did, to tell us that we were going to charged and good luck getting out of the thousands of dollars we are now on the hook for. All in all, they will tell you this company changes lives for the better, but it’s there lives getting better on your dollar. Do yourself a favor, if DaBella wants to do work on your home, slam the door in their face. You will save yourself an obscene amount of money.
