Recognized Excellence - I would like to recognize Eddie. When he came to give an estimate, he laid out everything from the beginning and what the cost was going to be. He even was here when the inspector was here to make sure everything went forward and smoothly and to answer any questions the inspector had. The workers did a phenomenal job. The foreman and crew leader, Anibol, was great. They worked their butts off every day. He communicated with me as much as possible, even with the language barrier, he answered any questions that came up, and he called and emailed me and the supervisor called as well. Joe was great as well. Everyone was great, they worked so hard. I appreciate all the work they did. Everyone involved in the job was fantastic in communication as well, from beginning to end.
Areas For Improvement - Collis Roofing fell short of none of my expectations, really. Actually, everything stated in the beginning what was happened. I had a great experience, it was great even to the end. In the timeframe, they came out earlier than they should have. We are still waiting on the gutters, but that's my fault, not the guys. They were very patient with that as well.
Areas Of Satisfaction - The quality of work from replacing wood on the roof, the state was rotted or not on code. The identifications from beginning, my delivery came here, good to go. They worked when it rained. They stopped, waited, then back up. It was phenomenal!

Areas For Improvement - I think that they exceeded my expectations, really. I talked about different roofing companies with neighbors. We didn't have any problems, we liked them from start to finish. I think they are a 5.
Areas Of Satisfaction - Their clean-up every day. How polite the workers were. They kept us informed, and we knew what was going on. When he had to come in and discuss more wood. You know just everything, every step. We were very pleased with them. I would definitely recommend. We did check other companies, but we went with them. Chad was informative and polite. He really did what we wanted them to do. He made the whole process great. He emailed me, kept me updated, took pictures of the roof and sent it to me when they pulled off the roof to see the wood. He went above and beyond on what was needed to do.
Additional Comments - Believe me, I will be telling anybody who needs their roof to be done about Collis Roofing.
Clean - They did a real good job of cleaning up all the debris. They left some of the excess materials (still in packaging and a some 4x8 sheets of plywood (no charge).

Areas Of Satisfaction - Our roof was timely scheduled. Your crew showed up on time and worked the entire day. Due to the inspector not showing up until later in the day, our roof would have been completed in two days. Your crew showed up the next morning and the room was completed. The dumpster was here as scheduled and removed immediately after the job was done allowing us access to our garage.
Communication - This is so important to me and the communication between everyone involved with our roof was just incredible. Thank you a million!

Several dozens of roofs have been replaced in my neighborhood throughout this past 12 months. When I walk through the neighborhood, I (a "layman") can visibly tell both the difference in the better quality of materials that were used on my roof, but also the better quality of installation (eg, no "waves" / dips in my roof; more ventilation systems that were installed). The men took their time in order to ensure proper installation and it definitely shows!
Clean - Each day, they left the job site clear of trash/debris and also cleaned up roofing nails/materials several times per day.
Communication - Job and on-site supervisors provided daily updates on the status of my roof and any delays (eg, a short delay in obtaining ridge caps.) Always returned to the job site on the dates promised.
Quality Of Materials - Noticeably better quality material from other roof replacements I have seen in the neighborhood
Quality Of Workmanship - Noticeably better quality of installation from other roof replacements that I have seen in the neighborhood, particularly noticeably better ventilation systems in place
Professional & Organized - I especially appreciated the fact the the shingles were delivered after the roof material was removed. I have seen guys on other jobs where the shingles were delivered before the roof was "demo'd". It was a shame to have to watch those guys move around those heavy batches of shingles

Andrew Mosher was my Estimator; George was the Job Supervisor; Miguel was the Team Lead on-site. Everyone on Miguel's team did a wonderful job as well and they deserve equal recognition.

Additional Comments - I think most people dread replacing their roofs as much as they dread buying new cars. It is unfamiliar territory to most consumers and with that comes a "fear of the unknown" - whether it is from worrying about picking the right materials to worrying that the materials will be installed properly to worrying that if there is an issue, you have chosen someone who will stand behind their work. I feel like the teams at Collis that worked with made this an experience that alleviated those worries.
Roy did my first roof. He communicated with me all the time. After his passing, I was doing my second roof at my moms house, Communication could have been much better.
The work crew did an excellent job and were very courteous. The care taken repair damage that was found, was professionally completed. The work site was left clean of any debris. Well Done.
