Originally called Safeway Safety Step, LLC, CleanCut was founded by Don Stafford. As a 37-year retired veteran of the City of Cincinnati Fire Department, Don had identified firsthand the need for easier access to enter and exit the bathtub area.
Don had a vision to create simple access to existing bathtubs without having to remove the tub and perform a costly bathroom remodel. Don applied for and was successfully awarded a U.S. Patent for his innovative process and product.
Today, CleanCut is second-generation family business that continues to develop innovative accessibility products. Our products have been installed for homeowners, assisted living and senior living residences, state and local social programs and hospitality properties throughout the United States.

With 3 full bathrooms in our home, we'd been wanting to convert our main bathroom to a walk-in shower for a few years already. But we always found something more pressing for the $10+Thousand that a full conversion would cost. Then a health scare made doing something a bit urgent. To the rescue came "CleanCut Bath" and what I call their 2+2+2=Total Satisfaction service: 2 hours to cut our tub side-wall and install their patented step-in shower conversion + 2 days to allow the sealant to totally harden + $2 Thousand (or less) dollars = TOTAL SATISFACTION & IMPROVED SAFETY!
My only complaint: CleanCut you need better advertising because I wish we found you a couple years sooner! Seriously though, a great product and a great installation team.

Overall, the convertible product looks like it will function as advertised. Installer installed the wrong product initially, so I’m hoping that the correct product he eventually installed performs well. Teach your installers how to run a caulk bead. The finished product (caulk) looks horrible, which detracts from the overall aesthetic. And not sure if this is SOP for you guys, but the installer also left a 50lb bag of trash for me to wrestle to the curb.
