I have had some pretty bad customer service.
The communication is very poor between the salesperson and the regional sales office. If someone plans to purchase through the Oklahoma City office, they will need patience and persistence with them.
I wouldn't recommend Champion Windows of Oklahoma City. I had to threaten a lawsuit to get the money back from them to pay the company that the money was borrowed from because they didn't show up for two months.
Everything works fine. The installation and materials were fine.
I like the windows products that were installed but the communications ( a simple "touch base" call ) between Champion and myself during the 4 week wait between when the order was placed and when we were contacted to set up an install date was non-existent. It made us wonder if Champion had taken our deposit and disappeared. A touch base call in the interim would have demonstrated to me that Champion was committed to 'excellent" customer service.
It looks like I have a new garage because of the siding that they did.
Champion Windows did a good job and did what they said they would do.
NO NO NO! AVOID Champion Windows!! This company has been repeatedly late or no-show, and has been totally unresponsive to our sun room issues from the start. And let's not blame this on Covid-19. We have had communication problems with this company since before that. We are EXTREMELY frustrated, and very upset. Of course, we've already paid up front, so we have no monetary negotiation possible to levy against this shoddy company. We have been waiting for Champion Windows to finish our job for over 6 months. Even at the beginning, whomever measured for our room got the dimensions wrong on the windows on top, which further delayed our project. Then, when we called several times to find out when the job would be finished, not one person acknowledged our phone calls. I've never had to call a company so many times to try to get them to do what they promised to do, what we paid them to do, and what is stated in their lifetime warranty that they would do, especially pertaining to leaks. I'm generally not a person who complains a lot. I'm complaining now because I am at my wit's end. And I want everyone else to know. Because our sun room has continually leaked, we are thwarted in our efforts to finish the room, stain the floors, and put furniture that we bought for it in. From the beginning, we never knew when the installation crew, which was usually one guy, would be here. There were days we were told he would be here, and he never showed, never called. This put us on hold all of those days, waiting and waiting for nothing. Complete waste of days. We talked to his manager, but never were given satisfactory information. Joey, the installer, finally came out and did an excellent job, EXCEPT FOR ALL OF THE LEAKS! Ron, our salesman, promised us from the start that every issue we had with the placement of the room would be taken care of. We even showed him spots in the corners of the room closest to the house where copious rainwater falls hard, and he promised that that would be taken care of. From the start. Ron assured us that Champion Windows would take care of that potential leak area, or any others. And they have not. Champion Windows then sent out some guy from Texas a couple of weeks ago who caulked one spot, but it did nothing to stop the leak. We have films and photos of exactly where the leak is that show drops of water dripping all the way down from the transom windows, to the glass door below, to our cement floor, which is flooded. We have sent them to Champion Windows, and they have done nothing to repair this. Also, don't have any hope that your salesman, Ron, will remedy the problem. Once he has sold you the room, he offers zero support after the sale. ZERO. Repeatedly HE and the construction supervisor have not fixed our problem, causing the room to remain unfinished. Champion Windows Oklahoma City does not return calls, texts or even bother to communicate! Countless texts and calls have been made to Champion Windows to remedy no-shows and the various leak issues. WE ARE SO DISAPPOINTED. We're DISGUSTED. At one point, Joey, the installer, told us that he could absolutely fix our problems, both from leaks at the top of the roof, and on the bottom of the doors, but a few weeks later, when we asked again if he could do this, he told us that Champion Windows would not allow him to come out. WTF! Then, we were told of a new system by which we had to call an 800 number to get repairs done, and that that system was really annoying customers. Well, you can include us in that number. Nothing seems to have gone right. What is wrong with this company? The thing that is most amusing to me is that we told our salesman that we were interested in putting in a new front door with side windows, and big windows on our third floor. This of course interested him. But he, and basically everyone at Champion Windows, negated that! Champion Windows will NEVER have our business again. I'd rather do the work myself than have someone this irresponsible and unprofessional set foot in my house again. Because of Champion's inefficiency, lack of communication, lack of showing up when expected, lack of proper repair, including their having FINALLY sent some guy from Texas who did not fix the leaks, and Champion's continuous ignoring of our issues, Champion Windows will be losing literally thousands of dollars from us alone. Champion will not get our business again. Likewise, I would never suggest Champion to anyone. Just today, a neighbor asked about our sunroom and I told him about our issues. On the spot, he decided to go with someone else. I plan to leave every negative review that I can about Champion Windows. Maybe then Champion will realize that they suck. When you have a business and you want peoples' money, you send out your best salesman. And they did. And any effort ended there. Shame on you, Ron, for not insisting these issues be seen to. Shame on you Champion for offering little to no service after the sale. And shame on you Champion for not finishing our job. We just wasted an entire spring and summer on Champion Windows. Please do not make the same mistake that we did. You'll be as frustrated as we are.
