We had many promises made by the salesman, that were not fulfilled in terms of time and other aspects of the agreement. It was totally impossible to reach anyone with customer service. It took 5-6 months for the windows to come in, and we were told 4-5 weeks. Once they came in, a number of them had scratches and have to be replaced.
Champion Windows of Knoxville will not return your calls.
Customer service SUCKS !!! We ordered three windows in February 2021 with half screens in each. Windows were installed in May 2021, three months to the day of order. Screens were not included and the screens that the installer had with him are junk. Numerous calls to the Knoxville, TN sales office where they were bought have gone unanswered. Salesman and installation manager are worthless.
I've asked for a follow-up, but nobody got back to me. I asked for windows that would match the ones I had ordered previously, but they don't match.
Waited nearly 6 months before windows were installed. Very limited communication during the whole process.
My new windows are great, love the new look and sound reduction. I've only had my new windows for 12 days so I can't wait to see what reduction my electric bill will receive.
Installation was sloppy and unprofessionally installed. Needed to be worked on again.
It took them 4 months to complete the job.
Experience start great but turned South fast. Took longer than expected to get windows installed. No one called to give update after expected wait time for windows to be installed.
It took three and a half months and the communication was very bad.
I made a payment on April 21st. They told me it would be 6-8 weeks due to Covid, which is why they were behind. When they called me to make an appointment it was on a Saturday at 9 am. I got a recording call to confirm my appointment on a Friday. On Saturday, it was a no-call no-show. I called the guy that I made the down payment with. His name was Mat. He said let me check to see what is happening and he would call me back. He said they got behind due to a total reconstruction and he was not sure why no one called. I called him on a Monday because no one called to re-schedule or anything. It went to a voicemail that was not set up. Then I text him to see when I was going to get my door installed. He called back the next day. Then, I finally called the 1-800 number and someone finally called me back and made my appointment for July 15 @ 9 am. The installation manager called me on July 15 @ 9 when they were supposed to be here to install my door. He said I was just calling to inform me that he had me down for July 16th. I had already taken off work again. I informed him no it was today as to what I was told. He argued with me. He said that he could not help that they got behind. I called the 800 number and complained again and the lady emailed his boss and the guy. The next call was on July 19, 2021, by a man named Jeff. He said how is tomorrow and he put me down for the next day at 9 AM and they showed at 10:15 am.
Contact signed in February and job was not installed until July for one window and one section of gutter.
Great Quality Windows and installed correctly and on time
The windows look good and I like that both top and bottom of the window is able to open and the screen moves up and down.
The salesman was great and honest. He gave us the proper information to make a decision on purchasing our windows. The product is top-notch.
They were very professional. They got our job done perfectly and we are very happy.
I am very pleased with the quality of work by Mr. Gall, the framers and electricians. My recommendation would depend on getting the same tetm. A friend of mine in Kansas City had two sunrooms installed by Champion and highly recommended them as a national company,.
Champion Windows of Knoxville took my payment, installed two doors with a missing part, and now, I cannot get anyone to replace the missing part. I reached out and they stated they could install the old part for the door as they have limited carpenters who can complete the requested job. I now have a door that I cannot prop open and so it is frustrating.
Windows seem great, but the salesman and customer service weren't.
Never, until they live up to their guarantee. Then I would gladly recommend them.
Everyone from Champion Windows was so pleasant and cheerful in and out of our house. They worked hard and there was no sitting around.
Champion Windows was wonderful.
I would have given Champion a 5 star rating if the Electrician Champion subcontracted had done his job correctly. If you have used Champion in the Knoxville area, it's more the likely you were sent the same Electrician, so I suggest you ask Champion for all the permits required for the job they did on your project with them. I wish I had done so!
I highly recommend this company for all your sunroom/window needs. After the fantastic job on the building and assistance for the planning of our Sunroom, that we use as a dining room, I had them back to replace 5 other windows.
The crew was really good. I could not have been happier.
