Quality control was lacking. Roof leaked on sunroom, handprints between window panels, black stuff and resin can't be cleaned off windows.
We had a issue with damage to our dinning room table by one of the installers. Although I think we have finally been able to resolve this matter, It has been a arduous ordeal and taking months to resolve. We kept getting promises that were not upheld and had to repeat the scenario to multiple layers in the organization. Additionally, communication was not timely and required multiple texts and phone calls to get individuals to call back with information about our dilemma.
Great experience. Workers were great. Removal of old windows went well. New window installation appeared to be easy for them. Clean up was done and very happy with the result!

We’re in year three of this project. Loan timed out and had to get a new loan to complete the project. Received threatening letters and emails to get the new loan complete by the end of the year and now can’t get the rest of the install set up. I’m very unhappy.

This is my second time using Champion, so I obviously love their products!
We had every window in our house replaced and replaced French doors with a sliding patio door. We are extremely pleased with everything from the very first appointment with Landen Smith to the current date which has just been a little over 3 months. We will definitely recommend Champion Windows of Greensboro and Landen Smith to anyone I treated in improving their home.

Do not trust the instal group
We waited 6 months to get windows replaced after a deck fire. My husband made numerous phone calls regarding replacement. Calls were never returned but excuses will always provided by the person answering the phone.
It took 15 months from meeting with the sales person to completed install
If someone asks I'll say Champion also does windows and leave it at that. Literally neither agree or disagree with this.

Very nice back door. Hated that it took 7 months to get it here and installed. I also did not like having to take out a personal loan with GreenSky just to pay them off shortly after having the door installed. No interest for a year.
The crew was great. The manager, who was over the crew, was not so nice in the beginning. I felt like my concerns did not matter. He was the money man, and he said he would not order windows until he got the money. He got better toward the end.
Thought it was too expensive
The 4 windows in the kitchen are not aligned as 2 windows on the ends do not match the 2 windows in the middle. The center of the 2 windows on each end are around an inch lower than the windows in the middle.
I didn't like the sales guy that came out and gave me the quote. I also didn't like the way I got the loan agreement from Green Sky about a week after I signed the contract with Champion. There were things that I would not have agreed to. I didn't like that. I do not recommend Landon Smith. He told me several things that weren't exactly right. The windows were fine. The installers were great. I didn't care for the guy that I spoke to in the Greensboro office. I didn't understand why there was going to be an additional withdrawal. I wouldn't go through this again. I do have more windows that need to be replaced. If I do deal with Champion, it won't be with that office. Be upfront with people. He reminded me of a used car salesman. That's what he should be doing instead of selling windows. They're not the most honest people on the earth.
Cleaning up wasn’t great, there is a piece of siding loose from a 2nd floor window and we are still waiting on our door.
Very nice, funny and knowledgeable salesman. Communication was clear. Guys that put windows in clean, thorough and very nice.
For replacement windows they are fine. Responsive and handle projects fine. As for their warranty. They seem to drag their feet not as on top of things as putting the replacement windows in.
We stressed several times (like 8 to 10 times) before we signed the contract that the inside seal frame need to be replaced and Jonathan insured to use that they will be replaced, but it was not.
The windows are a good quality but as the temperature changes they pop rather loudly. This happens as they heat up in the morning and cool off in the evening.
The installers were great but I have since found where they missed caulking some of the cover joints. This is a problematic area that could allow rain or insects in to the inside window that was covered. I will handle this due to the fiasco with the shutters and the 10 months that took to get them installed. (Even though I paid the bill in full I think considering the problem I had with the shutters that the shutter bill should have been adjusted in my favor.)
Communications with this company is terrible! In this day and time everyone has spam filters for their phones and calls will be blocked if the caller is not a contact or uses a company name. There was never a voice mail left from the people that use their personal phones.
I was not kept in the loop as to where the shutter project was and any updates. I had to initiate the process each time.
The installation for the windows was wonderful. Quality and workmanship of the windows was excellent. However, they had to remove the shutters from my front porch and I'm still waiting for them to return as the manager said they were going to reinstall The shutters. If it takes so long for them to just reinstall my shutters how long will it take if I have damage on the window but forever
Love the updates on the status of my windows from purchase to installment.
They came out an did the windows. None of them spoke good English. I questioned them about the gaps where the windows aren't sealed. They said they would take care of them and then left. I called and filed a complaint and I have heard nothing. They did this on February 7th.
Took almost 1 and 1/2 years to put in 6 windows and 1 door!
The windows and installation was good. The time to get the job done was good. The but is the pricing was off the page. Way too expensive.

Very unsatisfied with the whole experience.
The windows seem to be okay, but I had very poor, rude and condescending customer service.
The people that I had was very nice and cooperative.
They did a good job, although they couldn't put my blinds back up in the living room. They cleaned up after themselves.
There were things I was told about the product that I found out after installation wasn't true.
Took nearly a year to start/finish process. Champion ordered all the upstairs replacements in wrong size and had to reorder (6 more weeks).
I have already told a few people who did the new windows. I have to include that they are quite expensive but we hope to see improvement in our heating/ cooling
I am likely to recommend Champion Windows to a friend because they have friendly people, the workers are good, they checked the work and fixed anything that was wrong, and they provided good communication.
