Was one problem I brought to the area manager. Area manager promised a resolution and then did not follow through
These are the best-quality windows I looked at. I couldn't be happier with the final products.
Overall the experience has been good. One of the windows is missing a lock, supposedly there's a service ticket in for that. The front door came with a big gash in it, but they installed and ordered a new slab. The door doesn't hold shut unless the bolt is engaged. Hopefully that is something they'll fix when they bring the new slab.
The person who sold me the windows said he would stay with us the whole process. After the sales presentation, I never heard back from him. The cleanup was horrible. There were shards of glass on my patio and nails on the inside of the home.
I do not think that Champion Windows of Denver was very detail-oriented.
My new windows are awesome! I love having the option of opening them to enjoy the great Colorado weather!
I would definitely recommend Champion Windows.
Champion windows has done an excellent job of replacing our old aluminum windows. They are great quality and are far better than the windows they replaced. The windows are quiet and are well insulated. The office and install staff are all working like a well oiled machine when it came to scheduling and meeting that schedule. Thank you
Travis was very professional, and easy to work with. The installers were incredible
Champion Windows provided a quality product at a reasonable price, and exceptional installers. The crew that came out here were amazing, and they did an incredible job. I couldn't be happier.
I am likely to recommend Champion Windows to a friend because their quality product will last a lifetime.
They were polite, efficient, and did their job.
Champion Windows did a wonderful job and handled themselves professionally.
I did not have a good experience with Champion Windows. It took 5 different scheduled times for them to actually be able to install the window. The first two times they did not show up at all or call and this was extremely unprofessional.
They were really efficient, communicative, and easy to work with. I appreciated it that they made it an easy process.
Champion Windows fails at giving the customer what is advertised.
One of the windows replaced has a cracked frame. A new slider put in has a keyed door lock but I didn't receive the keys. Waiting on a response.
My biggest disappointment with the process was this started with a broken window, and we had used Champion before, so we thought we would call them. They pretty much took advantage of the fact that we needed to replace the window. They didn't have anyone to refer us to, to get it fixed right away. Likewise, they took advantage of the sales opportunity without really telling us they couldn't do anything to help us if that window's broke, and we were exposed to the sub-zero weather at the time. That's probably what caused the crack.
We had a large project that started in 2021. 28% of the project (Windows) were miss measured, or there were incorrect grids on the windows. Windows were remeasured, ordered, and delivered multiple times throughout 2022. The front doors were delivered but were too small and the wrong color. The doors were reordered and installed in November 2023. As of this survey, there are STILL two outstanding windows. Based on my experience, there is NO WAY I could recommend Champion to a family member, friend, or neighbor.
The process from start to finish was draining to be honest. Wouldn’t recommend to a friend.
You are asking too soon. I want to see if there is any savings on my xcel energy bill.
I would, but tell them to expect delays. My friends know what I've been through.
Had a few hiccups along the way, installation went very well.
I had issues with the install. The installers cost damaged to the interior drywall in the house. I also had damage to the exterior siding of my home which was not fixed. The installation team left and said the job was done. They installed 12 of 13 windows. The reason they did only 12 is because the gentleman that did my final measurements switched the horizontal and vertical numbers on his spreadsheet. The 13th window showed up incorrect. They were not able to install the day of installation. When I got in touch with the regional install manager, Chris Trojan. He had me list out the issues I had with the installation. He had me send pictures with descriptions. It took him a solid week to get back with me. When he got back with me, he told me he had been in the industry for 30 years and he did not believe the install team was responsible for the damages. What I ended up doing is I pulled the contract that I had from the company that painted my house this past summer. I was ready to show him that through that contract we had the entire outside of our house sanded, putted and painted. When they left as of this past summer, I had to go around the entire house with them and okay the work. There was no damage to my home. I knew it was the installers that caused the damage. I asked Chris Trojan to send a technician to put eyes on the damage because Chris was refusing to believe it was damage although, he had not seen it in person. I offered to have a technician come out. Thankfully they did. The technical agreed it was damage done by the installers. Thankfully, Champion Windows was able to correct those damages. They did not make me pay for those damages to be repaired. They make you pay 45% upfront then 45% a few weeks to a few months before your install you don't pay the last 10% until the job is complete. Instead of me paying them directly, they released that last payment to a company called Green Sky which is a loan company. I told them that is not what I wanted to do and that I was paying them directly, but they did it anyway. I got a bill from Green Sky with the remaining balance which was the last 10% plus interest. I had to call Champion Corporate five times in order to get that resolved. I had to call Green Sky three times in order to get that taken care of. Thankfully Green Sky has a good enough customer service to where they actually waived the interest fee. I was able to pay the remaining balance with Champion and Champion paid off Green Sky. It was absolute nightmare to deal with. Even though I had called them five times and I asked to be in touch with a regional manager over their financial organization, they refused to get back to me. I did not hear from anyone.
Salesman described windows incorrectly. Did not have a photo or picture of what ours would look like. Installation was 2 1/2 months out. 1st install was terrible looking. Had a do over 2 days later. Never got my screens, that were promised to be delivered in a couple days by installer. Older champion windows are leaking cold air and water. Need new caulking. It's been 3 months since I called for repairs, still waiting.
The install was a nightmare and the lead time was long, cannot say I would recommend at this time for these reasons.
I am very happy with my new windows and sliding door. It is a night and day difference. We no longer bake in the sun coming in the windows and are excited to use the windows year round!
Excellent quality and installation. Our house looks newer and has great curb appeal.
Window was excessively expensive.
Such a great experience! So professional and such a wonderful company!
The entire process was seamless. The salesman saw my vision and made it come to life.
I liked the sales, scheduling process, and the people on the front lines being helpful and allowing me to schedule appropriately.
The second installers were great! Communicated, installed and cleaned up their mess. Great job guys!!!!
They’re a bit more expensive than some other companies but the quality of windows, materials, and installation were excellent in all regards.
I was disappointed in several factors in the design and appearance of both the patio doors and the fixed pane window that I purchased.
The quality of the products are definitely not comparable to other replacement windows that I have purchased in the past.
Some things went well--others didn't. The door was incorrect TWICE.
Great salesmen, exceptional installation crew. Rather pricey for something to simply recommend off hand to anyone. Time will tell how my opinion will change as either problems arise or the quality of work endures the many decades to hopefully come.
I expected better service than I got. My door does not seal, and I tried to get someone or crew out here to fix that. I was told that not until the 14th of February that someone could come out and take a look. I am pretty upset with Champion Windows right now.
It took a long time to get them from the time we ordered them, but we are happy with them other than that.
I am pretty neutral on this, price and quality seem good but responsiveness and scheduling were poor.
With incredibly awesome windows. The casings are so beautifully made. I leave my hand against the window and cannot feel the cold. Wow.
After getting a quote and signing a contract they wanted to raise the price $3000. We settled on a $600 increase but then they messed up the order on screens so we’re still waiting for those. Overall I like the quality of the windows but the process was a bit frustrating.
I am very pleased with the windows installed by Champion Windows. Recently we experienced super cold weather (-25 degrees) and I was pleased with the windows' performance.
We are happy with our Champion Windows - unfortunately, when it came time to install our windows the installation team damaged the wall in several places surrounding our bathroom window. We notified the Champion Windows team of this and they are working to rectify that. I selected 3 stars because the response to our damaged walls will determine a lot of how I feel about the Champion Windows of Denver and how they (hopefully) make things right for their customers.
Not unless the install team is trained to the standards Champion advertised. We had a contract team and there were a lot of “we can’t do that” comments until I brought out the contract and called the Champions office for assistance.
It took over two years for them to complete the job. It was not done correctly. They had to come back and fix it.
They were a no call no show for my final measurements. After I took off of work to be there. Unable to talk to anyone on the phone and ne response to emails. Had to contact my sales man to get measurements in order to start production. No contact for 6 months after receiving a card in the mail stating my order had entered the factory. I was about to look elsewhere when I got the call about installation four days short of the 8 month date of starting this.
I'm not likely to recommend. I first met with a sales representative. The sales representative arrived on time, answered all my questions, and was well informed. An appointment was made for exact window measurements. No one showed up or called. When it was time to get the windows installed. I received a call and scheduled an appointment for window installation. I received a text for appointment confirmation from Champion. Minutes later I received another text but with a different appointment day and time. I called back to confirm and the customer service representative was annoyed that I called. She was abrupt, sighed and was basically unpleasant to talk to. I was given a 2 hour window for the installation appointment time. They arrived an hour after that. The couldn't install the sliding glass door because the wrong door was ordered. I was at work but my 20 yo son was at home. He called me to explain the situation. One installer then asks my son to ask me if I still wanted windows installed that day. I asked that they please proceed with window installation despite not being able to install the sliding glass door. A few minutes later the same installer calls me directly and tries to talk me out of getting my windows installed that day but just wait until the sliding glass door was ready. When he called me directly he starts out by saying that he was talking to "your son, your daughter, whatever. " Another appointment was made for the sliding glass door installation. I received a call the morning of the appointment and was told it needed to be rescheduled and that someone would be giving me a call to reschedule. By the next morning I still hadn't received a call from Champion. I called Champion and they had no idea what was going on. A manager ended up calling me and was under the impression that I had canceled the appointment. That is what he was told by the installers. Another appointment was made to install the sliding glass door. The sliding glass door was installed but the installers did a sloppy job and damaged a portion of the home's siding. They arrived an hour past the 2 hour window appointment. They didn't vacuum up the mess they made but the previous installers did. However, the first installers left the old window frame in the yard. The screen door fell off the next day. I had decided not to reach out to Champion. I received a call a few days later from Champion apologizing and ensuring me that they will have my new screen door ordered and installed as soon as possible. I knew the screen door fell off but I had no idea what they were talking about. The representative told me that it was obviously known during installation that they had the wrong screen door but no one told me before this phone call.
They are good windows and I love them.
Overall I am satisfied with the windows after we got through the issues, but it was far from a painless experience as outlined in the comments below.
