I am likely to recommend Champion Windows of Columbus to a friend because it's the best crew I have ever had at my house.
Took longer than told it would by 6 weeks, took 2 days and not 1 and the guys stood around and smoked cigarettes half the day
Champion Windows of Columbus, OH showed up with a broken window and acted as though it wasn't broken which delayed the install. The customer service from Champion Windows of Columbus, OH went downhill since the last installation of windows eight years ago from the company on our home. The customer service provided to us by Champion Windows of Columbus, OH was poor and we were not pleased.
It was a very good service. The work was great.
We really do like the windows and the warranty. My only knock is the trim might not be the best.
I have not had a good experience. Our first appointment was cancelled the morning of because the contractor was a no show. Fine, we had to wait another 4 weeks for the installation. It was a long wait, but it is what it is. The biggest issue is that once it was installed I noticed the finishing touches were not great and sent pics of the damaged trim. It’s been 3+ weeks and we haven’t heard back on when it will be replaced. In addition the door is not closing properly to use the deadbolt. We have to push on the door in order to lock it. This is not great for customer satisfaction.
I had several quotes and they had the best price for the quality.
The product is quality but the installation was very badly done. Even with COVID-19, it has taken WAY TO LONG to resolve our issues.
It took over eight (8) months for Champion to begin installation of my four season sun room. They did not offer me ANY discount for the extreme delay. I had to villigently monitor the project's completion to ensure some attention to detail.
I would recommend them to some but it is expensive so you can only recommend them to certain people.
The product was great, but the communication from the company throughout the whole process was terrible.
I had some concerns during the installation and they weren't resolved until several days after they were addressed. The installation crew was rude and unfriendly.
Very poor customer service and no call backs, heard different stories from various people, no accountability. Was mislead from the beginning.

We have had 3 projects done by champion here in Columbus. The first was new vinyl windows on the front of my house. That went GREAT! I liked the crew and thought they did a wonderful job. No issues or complaints. 2nd was the install of windows on the back of my house. I requested the same crew and got them. This time was not happy with their quality of work and the windows were not functioning properly. They did seem to care as much this time. I then had a problem getting someone out to take care of my concerns. Someone finally came out and took care of all the issues and was very nice. Most issues were just due to not taking care of the small, finishing parts of the job. I just chalked it up to a bad day for the crew. This last experience was a nightmare for us. I do device work myself for a living and the couple things I take pride in is always doing the job like it is my own house, communicating with the customer, and making sure if they have any questions when I am done which I will do my best to answer and if I can’t I will get them the answer. This is what I expect when I have service done for me but apparently my expectations are too high. I understand problems happen, mistakes are made, but to not communicate any of that and more to the customer is poor business. After the first windows were installed I actually referred my sister to you and I got burned there as well. The salesman Marlin, was disrespectful to them and was asked to not return to their house, which I requested as well this time around, and the quality of installation was very poor. Not the quality of the windows but the instillation. So bad that they had another company do the second part of there new windows! Champion had won the first windows job and couldn’t keep the customer after you were finished and had your product and people in there home! I am sad to say that I will probably not be recommending champion to anyone I know. In my opinion the product is great which is why we chose you 3 TIMES! But I don’t know what is going on with the Columbus branch. It seems to be lost in its direction and the workmanship is suffering which has trickled down to the customers experience. This project was not as enjoyable as my wife and I had hoped. After the signing of the contract everything from there on out was a struggle. I believe in your product very much. That is why we chose to have a room made of all glass be done by what we believed to be the best product. Everything else just drug it all down from there. I hope you can get things straightened out because I do believe you have an excellent product.
I'm not sure they have followed up as well as I would have liked it. There are issues they have not finished up on. I have noticed a few other things. I haven't talked to anyone yet about the issues.

We were happy with the finished product, but had to overcome initial scheduling and communication problems.
Champion windows sales guy seemed very knowledgeable, they want to close a deal while in house and not give you time to think about it. First project manager or whatever his title was failed with communication both by phone and email. Installers were friendly, but I caught them pouring dry bags of concrete into my foundation holes and adding water into the holes. I made them dig it out and start over. Final job looks good overall but a lot of issues in the process from start to finish.
The product quality is excellent, but did not expect for the process to be that aggravating and felt it should have been a seamless procedure.
Champion Windows of Columbus, OH quality and service have gone downhill in recent years. I know there is a new Service Manager and I hope to see improvements in the future.
Overall, I did like the work they did. They were very thorough, honest, and nice. They did an excellent job once they got the right size windows.
Champion is such a great company, the team was magnificent. They did such an outstanding job. No matter how large or small, just pick up the phone and give Champion a call. You'll be glad you did!
