Windows were installed April 7th and on May 3rd called the local office to complain that the one casement window not working properly. After many calls and meeting face to face with Bernard Hollowa he said it would be corrected. He would not take my phone calls (3-4) after that visit with his cell phone saying mailbox full and I left a message and he never called me back. It was finally done yesterday 37 days later after I E-Mailed Marcus Bonner with my complaint.
They were professional upfront, but with the pandemic, they gave me a longer time frame. They still exceeded that with no feedback. I had to call them three to four times to get a response.
We signed on and gave our deposit last July and didn't get it built until May. People didn't communicate with us. We had to call all the time and people would not get back to us. There were multiple unanswered phone calls.
It took over a year to get my sun room completed.
Champion Windows has major internal coordination problems.
The actual installers were very good. The administration and office were terrible. Also, it was almost impossible to talk to someone in the local office. Consequently, I would not use Champion again.
Sure. We ordered the door in November, we were told that the installation will be in February or March, but they did it in May. No communication whatsoever about why they were late even after we got their attention. I was told I was going to receive a call in 2-3 weeks and they didn't call, even though I complained and threatened to go to the general's office.
Salesman Marcus sold us on a “full window replacement” turns out champion does not do an actual full window tear out. After a lot of back and forth with the sales team and district manager the issue was finally resolved, however the window replaced is significantly smaller than the previous window. If we had the choice to do over we would have gone with Pella or Andersen as their quotes were VERY competitive with the job from Champion. Should not have had to gone through everything we did in order to get new windows.
Friendly, good price, great work
Windows reduce heat coming into the house.
I never got a gift card or thank you card after spending $40,000. I waited a year to get the patio cover finished. I'm still waiting for an estimate.
Once construction FINALLY began we were thrilled to have Hector's team on site. When he had to leave for a previously scheduled vacation, the quality wasn't the same. Fortunately, Hector returned after his vacation, and the final product was completed to a five star level.
Champion Windows of Columbus, OH came in, had windows here weeks ahead of schedule than I was initially told, and took a few days to complete. Champion Windows of Columbus, OH completed fantastic work with no issues and I was extremely pleased with them.
The work was quick and effective. They did a very great job. I'm very satisfied with the service!
I am super impressed with everybody at Champion Windows. The staff was polite, and we had a really good experience. I would definitely recommend them to other people.
The reason why I wouldn't recommend Champion Windows is due to their lack of communication. Once they got their hands on our deposit, they didn't seem to want to keep us up to date on what was going on.
The windows are not only beautiful, but they are tight.
I would not recommend Champion Windows of Columbus. The installation process was a nightmare with the sub contractors that were hired. They were very rough, disrespectful, and incompetent. We had 27 windows installed. We were told it would be a 4 day process. The crew came in and did it in 2 days. There were multiple issues with the windows, trim work, caulking and the overall disrespect to our property. Champion attempted to "make it right" and sent out another crew to repair all the imperfections in the windows that were installed. Bottom line, they put a bandage on the botched job and we have had to deal with that. We still have unresolved issues with windows and screens that are not correct. We have been told that they are on back order and will be addressed, but 4 months later, we are still waiting. Choosing Champion windows is a huge regret. We spent over $35,000 with this company, in May and are still dealing with unresolved as of December. Do not do it!
They are good quality windows!
I am likely to recommend Champion Windows of Columbus to a friend because it's the best crew I have ever had at my house.
Took longer than told it would by 6 weeks, took 2 days and not 1 and the guys stood around and smoked cigarettes half the day
Champion Windows of Columbus, OH showed up with a broken window and acted as though it wasn't broken which delayed the install. The customer service from Champion Windows of Columbus, OH went downhill since the last installation of windows eight years ago from the company on our home. The customer service provided to us by Champion Windows of Columbus, OH was poor and we were not pleased.
It was a very good service. The work was great.
We really do like the windows and the warranty. My only knock is the trim might not be the best.
I have not had a good experience. Our first appointment was cancelled the morning of because the contractor was a no show. Fine, we had to wait another 4 weeks for the installation. It was a long wait, but it is what it is. The biggest issue is that once it was installed I noticed the finishing touches were not great and sent pics of the damaged trim. It’s been 3+ weeks and we haven’t heard back on when it will be replaced. In addition the door is not closing properly to use the deadbolt. We have to push on the door in order to lock it. This is not great for customer satisfaction.
