Once the windows were sold to me, there were delays, sales man tried to give me a different color, and while the product is great, there were some installation quality issues that have yet to be resolved.
My order was incomplete. My bay window was ordered at the incorrect size and the rain glass for my downstairs bathroom is still not received and installed. I love the windows but would be pressed not to mention these issues when recommending your product
The windows themselves are quality. A lot of moving parts with subcontracting and I was under the impression it was all local and in house (which is why I was okay with the price) turns out they outsource all aspects of the job and because of this, the coordination was off. Overall I do not find value of my 30000 windows. I could have gotten them way cheaper with the same outcome.
After 2 years of leaks, then being told I must pay a fee just to have them come out to do a damage assessment is just wrong!!!!!
It took almost a year for the door to come, and when it did it was entirely the wrong color. . I had provided the color codes for "Magnet" which Jarrah had put on the contract, and what showed up was a sea greenish "Carribean Cucumber." This door is for a Condo with a home owners association...all the units have "Magnet" doors.
Great price for quality windows
Not likely if same style of roof is used today as was used on mine.
Sales knowledge and presentation, five star. Quality, timely/early installation were five star. Fair price. Follow up for relacement not so much.
The whole experience was wonderful
I will never recommend Champion Windows of Colorado Springs to anyone. It was the worst experience and customer service I have ever had in my life. After a bad install and the windows leaking like a sieve, no one from Champion ever inspected the windows. It took two and half years to resolve the issue.
It’s was easy to set up 3 windows measured placed . The time was reasonable
Champion makes quality windows and provides solid installation. However, the customer service is terrible. It is nearly impossible to get a response from anyone until they call for a payment or want to close out the account. It was a challenge to get our project started or to get issues resolved in a timely manner. We will not use Champion again and would not recommend.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the quality of the windows and doors I received and I would definitely recommend to my friends and family.
If I hear about anyone looking to replace their windows, I will let them know about Champion based only on the quality of the windows themselves. I’ll be warning anyone who I recommend to about the high pressure sales tactics and minimal communication between the measure appointment and the call to install the windows.
Delays. Broken windows during installation. No follow up from champion and unprofessional install crews who took personal calls and then left a mess after leaving.
I have not had an opportunity to discuss with anyone yet. I will recommend as needed.
This was the worst experience I’ve ever experienced in my life. It was horrible I was told it would take approximately 4 months but it took 8 months and 4 days. They destroyed my sod by leaving a pile of dirt in my yard for 5 months and now got to wait until spring time to replace my sod.
I would definitely recommend Champion to anyone thinking about getting new windows!
I've had two unpleasant experiences with window installation at Champion. The first installation the crew left a mess, including glass in my driveway. The second installation Champion didn't send the right crew for the job. Additionally, the installation crew left my brand new windows filthy. My new windows should not be dirtier than my old ones.
For what Champion charges for their product they need to do better. I have more windows to purchase and likely will not give them more business.
almost half a year later and we're STILL waiting on Day 1 replacements, and our siding is STILL damaged. decent windows, TERRIBLE customer relations.
Company is not honest
Every step was great
Great product but long wait for installation
All were here when they said they would be. My questions were all answered with all the information I would need. The service was excellent.
Yes I would recommend.
The whole experience with Champion has been great. Didn’t feel any pressure to buy. Already noticing a difference in temperature in our house.
Through the years I have replaced all of the windows in my house, except for 2 small windows in the basement, with Champion windows. Interaction with various employees( sales, office, and installation has always been positive. The product is of good quality and the price is reasonable. I highly recommend Champion windows.
The crew came late due to a truck breaking down. They made up the time by installing our windows fast and very professional. They cleaned as they went from each window and laid down plastic to catch all the debri. Best crew ever!
Everyone that we engaged with was great to work with.
I liked my salesman. I did not like the installers.
I had a little trouble with it. They did not finish the trim on the outside of the windows. It took at least 2 months of phone calls and talking to different people who said they would send someone and they never showed up. I actually just got them finished a few days ago.
Would NEVER recommend this company! 10 Windows and 1 Patio door were ordered on10/24/2022 and in March 2023 we had to call the sales rep to find out what was happing with our order as were told it would be 10-14 weeks took 19 weeks for install and has been 25 weeks and still not completed. They said they were waiting on a permit. We had to call serval times trying to get answers on why a permit was taking so long as we were told it was applied for in December. The windows and patio door were installed on 4/3/2023 and on 5/17/2023 the job has not been completed! Patio door does not have a screen, as it did not fit do to poor initial installation (The door was bowed). After several calls to company and a agrivated call which prompted a visit by a supervisor, the Installers came back unannounced on April 18th to try and fix patio door. The installers proceeded to fix door and replace siding that they broke off during installation. Unfortunately they left the job uncomplete The siding they pulled off was replaced by a different size of siding causing us to have large gaps on both sides of patio door. Being a company that deals in vinyl siding, a rational person would think they would be able to match it up with no problem. After they left, we had to call the office to find out why we dont have a screen door yet, and ask what the plan was for reparing the siding. and again we were givin the run around. Two weeks later we had to call AGAIN to find out what was happing. Obviously nothing. Installation of windows was poor quality, they broke siding and left holes in the siding which they filled in with silicone that does not match. The corners on the window trim all have gaps and do not line up. . The Installers left a huge mess for us to clean up, Very unprofessional.
They did a great job in installing the windows. He was very efficient, but a little expensive. Their price was cheaper than Anderson Windows, and I did not like the constant status appointments. All I needed was one text.
The technician was on time and very professional. He took out all windows at once. He put in 5 windows in about 2+ hours by himself and cleaned up afterwards! He was able to answer my questions. I strongly recommend Champion.
Champion was great until payment was distributed and Windows were installed. Been trying to get ahold install manager to discuss install regarding the amount of caulking used and caulking on carpet in sons bed room.
The design is not good.
There is absolutely NO way we could ever recommend Champion Windows to anyone. The issues we faced are so numerous, but listing just a few of the issues:
- wrong sized windows delivered
- broken windows delivered
- scratched windows (in the window glass) delivered/installed
- screens so loose they moved with the slightest breeze
- the installation crew did not know how to install the window buck properly
- overall very poor craftsmanship
- extremely poor customer service
- and as mentioned, that is just a few of the issues
Ordered a new front door with a storm. House was built in 1888 so had to be a special build. Everything fits perfect
Very expensive. And took 9months to get the door
Good Quailty Product, Friendly sales people, easy to understand information, and quick from the time of sale to the finished product.
I had a couple issues and I tried reaching out to my sales representative and the communication has been poor.
The whole process, from beginning to en d, was very professional. We are extremely happy with the looks and function of our four windows. There will be more in the future. Thanks
They are very pricey, and I have never paid for something in full and it took 5 months before it got done. The project is still not done.
I've bought several windows over the years, and they have all lasted very well.
None, absolutely no communication. We had to track down telephone numbers that actually were answered. Worst customer service. No one reached out when deadlines were missed. I wouldn't put my worst enemies through the stress of this company.
They did so good that we bought five more windows.
Excellent work and quality window
Would consider recommending after my new windows are fixed.
I would reccomend them only after informing them how "replacement" doesn't mean you will recieve the same size window. You will be downsized unless you have them tear off the sill trim and install it on the building frame.
The windows are very nice, the doors we purchased are very nice as well. The installation was quick after the multi month wait. The over finish work was ok, not as nice as Anderson. But then the price wasn't Anderson either.
