Installers were excellent getting the job done with no problems.
The product is good
At our previous house, we used Champion for windows, siding, and doors and were extremely satisfied and always recommended Champion. When we had siding delays, we were in constant contact by management to keep us up to date and to ensure we were satisfied. When it came to replace the windows on our new house, we didn't look elsewhere and were expecting the same great service we had previously experienced. The initial measurement and quote went very well, and we were excited for the new windows, but from then on we have been disappointed. The windows were later than expected, not a big deal, however not all the windows were actually delivered (ordered?), some windows were the wrong size, and three windows were broken, one shattered. Worse, the shattered one was in front, taped up for months waiting for a replacement while we kept being asked if someone broke it. Told three weeks for the replacements, instead it took four months. Noah had to come out and correctly measure the mis-measured windows and reorder the missing windows. Some windows were cleaned during install, most were not--even the stickers were not all removed. We are happy with the final product, but the complete lack of communication or concern from anyone other than Noah Mullins is disturbing compared to our previous experience. Obviously we can no longer recommend Champion.
Showed on time for both sale and installation. Professional install crew, clean and efficient. Would recommend to anyone asking about Champion Windows.
Getting constant calls for something I already paid is horrible. Get your payment system together.
I have 12 windows, the salesman missed a window. The person who did the measurements caught the mistake and said he would fix it, he did not. When I inquired about the issue I never received a reply. The person who installed the doors did not replace the trim nor did he put dead bolds on either door, I had to do that myself. The one window I was looking forward to was measured incorrectly, and now we have to wait longer. The supervisor of the install team tried to sell me a window, noticed my displeasure and immediately asked me to review the team. Very poor. The install team did an excellent job, the salesman needs to learn how to count, the measurement person needs to learn how to measure, the project manager needs to learn to communicate with the customer and address issues. And please stop sending me emails, you took my money and left the job unfinished, why would I ever recommend your company to anyone I like, I wouldn't recommend your company to someone I don't like.
Broke my fence gate and didn't have the decency to tell me about it! Supervisor from Champion Matt Greene convinced the contractor not to say anything about it. Accidents happen when you only have one person installing a very heavy door, but at least own up to your mistakes.
They arrived on-time, kept the area they were working in clean and made sure all the areas were clean when he left.
I am still waiting to hear back from Noah as to when the guys are coming back to finish the work that they didn’t complete.
I don’t even know where to start. I ordered a patio door along with some windows October 2023. After a year and a half, four visits with the wrong door, along with other problems, the door was installed this past Friday.
It’s too long to text. Someone needs to call me. 719-207-1282.
I think Alex did a wonderful job of installing the windows. They look great! Thank you.
The installation process was not smooth. The initial sales person failed to accurately measure any of the windows. Our order was misplaced. The sales person left, and took knowledge with him. Windows arrived at Champion but nobody knew who they were for. Months elapsed. We had to re-engage with Champion to get the ball rolling again. Windows installation day came and failed immediately because only one installer showed up for a two man job. After a delay, window installation started, then stopped again because the windows were still the wrong size. New windows were ordered, months passed, and eventually installed, except for one, which did not fit and another which has a crocked insert. A replacement was ordered which was still too big. Then, finally, a new window arrived, but it had taken so long that the draw period on our loan elapsed and y'all told us we would have to pay you more, again, out of pocket, because your people did not realize they had to call the loan people and ask for an extension. We had to explain that to Champion. Elapsed time, over a year. Impact on our family, massive. And the window with the crocked insert? Still there. Never fixed.
Job still not complete and you overcharged me 2k.
The contract was sign in October of 2024. As of today March 28, 2025 the project is still not complete. The windows where measure wrong and had to be remade. The day of installation the installer informed me that one of the sashes is broke and one will have to be reordered again. No compensation has been offered. I have taken 5 total days to dedicate to this project being complete. I have asked for a partial refund and have told that the company cannot do that.
As mentioned below, Matthew, the inspector, asked us to send pictures of scratches to Nicole Gilmore. We did and have heard nothing back.
Was the wost customer service I've ever experienced.
Not a chance I would recommend you to anybody I know.
Clean the window\s so that iit is possible to match material colors and see out the window. I expected a new, shining window and what I received was far from that expectation.
What a mess!!! Took months longer than estimated and we still got windows with the wrong color
Happy with the pricing, the windows, the installer did a great job
They did what they said they were going to do and in a timely manner. Everyone was reachable by phone and response time was great.
All Champion personnel were very professional and courteous. After getting all our windows in they reached out to a company that came out and touched up the stucco all around the house for around our windows.
Good customer service.
The end result was good. The weight of the triple pane windows caused 45% of the frames to crack in transit necessisitating a reorder which was a disaster. Champion's internal communication process was terrible. No proactive follow up from anyone. There is no way to get to the local office through their "contact us" information. After repeated emails and calls to the main office, the only call back I received was from a service scheduler who was friendly but had no information on ETA. On the second install, two windows were still missing. Another reorder and delay. The project was started in May and finally finished on January 31st. The local staff & installers were all friendly and professional but Champion as an organization seems to be in disarray.
Windows were wrong size so a lot of additional work had to be done and I was told at my initial meeting that if any work was to be done Champion would ensure my home was returned to the condition it was in upon completion of work. I just had my house stuccoed and painted a few months ago, Champion did not complete all the work. Work a bit sloppy, nail sticking out of the wall therefore not allowing trim to sit properly so large amounts of caulk used to fill in the gaps.
The windows are nice: blocking most traffic noise, both top and bottom sections open inward for easy cleaning from inside the home
I was not impressed with the customer service that I received of dealing with champion
I have found Champion Windows gives value and professionalism to their work. Whenever I went into the store regarding problems they were helpful in finding a resolution to the problem. I would recommend them to my friends.
I recieved a damaged lower window pane and am STILL waiting for a replacement, is that customer service?????
i've been reluctant to respond to any reviews. I would like to give Champion the opportunity to make this right.
I will NEVER recommend Champion Windows to a friend, or a relative. Was not satisfied from the very beginning. to subject a family member or a friend to this company would subject them to the worst experience they would ever have. I regret that I used this company.
Delivery was much longer than quoted by sales, 5 of the 19 windows ordered had issues. Appears local branch does not communicate with the factory effectively
Unfortunately, we were misled to believe that building a Sunroom (windows to enclose an upper balcony) with Champion was a high quality, value investment. This was not the case.
Sales: we were misled by deceptive sales tactics, with an original quote of $10000 which was then reduced to $5000. The salesperson did not follow-up with us after we began the installation process, so they did not know about the actual installation process and the quality of the product after it has been installed. Don't be misled by their overconfidence in the product.
Communication: I received much more frequent and responsive communication about paying my final balance (even when the job was not complete) than when I was working with the project manager to plan and install the windows. I had to constantly resend emails and call to receive any communication.
Quality: I would like to write a positive review about the window quality, but unfortunately the finish framing just doesn't look great. In addition, minimal effort was created to patch up other areas in the balcony, as was suggested in our contract. Finally, no effort to clean up job site mess. This created safety issues for my baby, toddler, and dogs.
Overall experience: Based on all of my interactions with Champion, it appears that Champion believes in doing "just enough to get the job done," rather than "100% satisfaction."
Window them selves are nice. The quality control when Great. The shipping fair. The installation fair. The after service for issues absolutely poor.
This project has been a nightmare. Hands down nor professional and lack of communication and not meeting you commitment to the customer. Straight up lied of what can be done.
VERY poor customer service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This company has serious concerns within its self and is functioning as a ship without a rudder. Terrible leadership on all levels at this time. Revolving door of personnel is deeply concerning.
The product, perhaps, but not the experiences after initial sales appointment.
The unpleasant experience started when Kris made a promise to us during the sales meeting that he never ended up fulfilling, all the way to the end of the installation when they left trash all over the garage and yard.
We waited what seemed to be a long time for the windows to be installed, but we would still recommend Champion Windows of Colorado Springs to a friend.
After the in home sales meeting we had a great feeling we had gone with the right company for our small three window project. However, over the following 9 months what we experienced was frustration, disappointment and the worst case of customer service we could have faced. Had I not consistently reached out to the local and corporate service teams I am positive we would still be waiting. The windows have now been installed and I have product quality concerns. Windows were filthy and have permanent scratches. There is also air flow coming between the seams. Insure that we will just have to deal with and as I know Champion doesn’t care. It’s almost like they sat in a warehouse for months?? I cannot and will not recommend this company.
My major concern is it took 5 months to get the windows for our install and when calling about them no one knew where they were or could find out.
The overall process was great. My only comment is that it seemed to take a long time to get the windows. Then, finding out that 2 will need replaced.
I appreciate the quality of the installation, the process leading up to it was riddled with significant communication failures and errors that have left me utterly frustrated.
Definitely not. I was given incorrect info from the start. Staff did not update my account info when needed which caused several inconveniences. Champion customer service was completely unavailable several times I called. I sold my home during the extremely lengthy process, which Champion said would not be an issue, but then had one misstep after another in working with the new owner.
The architectural engineering ruined our existing Patio Living Space. The Foreman made promises and did not deliver, The Foreman was horrible to work with, not returning calls, not explaining the install until the day of install when we were notified that they were cutting 6 holes for piers in our colored, textured $11,000 patio. Will not recommend, the salesman was non existent after the sale. When we asked for a meeting to discuss the problems with the install, the salesman said put it in writing, He lives three blocks from our house but could not make the time to meet with us or the foreman!! We requested response from Champion in writing and got nothing back.
Factory process took extremely long. There was a lack of information and lack of updates during the process leaving the customer in the dark. Signed contract on 11 May and installation on 14 Oct.
Have been waiting 6 months for completion.
Overpriced and installation manager was difficult to deal with, concern about "unfinished" state of project ( no new matching door molding on inside) was ignored and not addresses. Have not heard regarding the workorder that installer supposedly turned in to finish with molding.
