My windows are not what was ordered which is also what happened twice

$4300 dollar door arrived damaged then discovered door and frame were to short and did not fit correctly , but had to install since old frame was removed and 10 window screens damaged or did not fit, also changed install date the day of install 15 minutes before they were supposed to arrive. Outside window frames we were told would be larger and all new. Instead, the old frames were wrapped in thin tin and siliconed to frame.
For all the money that I spent i should not have had to go buy chocking to finish around my windows and door. Especially windows around rock needed to be filled because of bugs nesting, the windows that everyone sees walking up to my house has a bent that looks terrible , the door bottom fiĺlet is there not smoothed out and is away from the bottom of the door seam which I will still have to fix sometime, the door handle installed already damaged has nicks and scratches (see it and feel rough), I asked them to save my old door for my daughter but they didn't save part of my hinges., I didn't care for the father son team the father was doing all the work. I had a home with Continental windows and the house was quieter sound. Your windows not as good at keeping sound out. I just pray they help with the heating and cooling bills.

The project took much longer than anticipated and some of the “look” of the outlet coverings wasn’t great. The quality of the tabs on the siding wasn’t the same as the salesperson showed.
The sales person was very professional- the installation staff were incompetent, the installation supervisor was almost impossible to contact by phone and unwilling to solve the issues and corporate kept putting me off when I tried to contact them. The windows were to be installed in June- today, September 20, they are not finished with the installations nor do I have an end date. The shingles need to be redone and one window is waiting for the seat to arrive from the factory and the inside finish boards need to be removed due to wrong caulking and replaced so they can be painted
The window are all places not straight and it looks like the frame has gaps. We paid a lot for not such big quality only thing good is the glass

After 25 years of service, if there is one thing that I have learned is there's always room for improvement.
I loved the timely manner that the workers had and also the courteousness shown towards me and my property.
Follow up on prombles is horible.
First, work start the first week of May 2025. Later in the week when the work was 3/4 of the way done I was informed that someone forgot to pull the permit and the city shut the work down until the permit was received. It took almost 3 weeks to get the permit. When they finally did get the permit at the end of May, the work done on the front of the house looked like ****. After 3 or 4 failed attempts to fix the issues, I finally met the supervisor/coordinator at the house to show her exactly what the issues were because the pictures I sent via text didn't help. She agreed it looks awful. Then it took another 2 weeks to get someone out to fix all the issues.
Losing our windows and having to track them down.
I ordered the windows in the end of February. I was told they probably be put in by the last of April middle of May at the latest. Someone came in March and measured the windows when they finally told me that the windows were ready at the end of May and they were gonna install them they came out and said that all the windows were measured and correctly so they had to be re-ordered. Finally got the windows put in just this last Thursday and I’m not happy with two of the windows. The window in the kitchen behind the stove does not even close all the way there’s no way to lock it. The top part doesn’t slide up and down at all in the bottom parts slides up and down, but it doesn’t match up with the top The big window in the dining room area. The inside looks fine. The windows do open and close but the outside is all like rig together. It does not look good and I’m afraid it’s not gonna hold.
Salesman was very informative and the installers were very professional and did a great job. My only concern was the contract not being followed as presented to me and what I agreed to, concerning the payments.

The windows you put in were smaller than my original ones. Also when installing the installers removed chunks of my siding/paint. Now I have to repaint and eventually replace.

I have 3 broken windows that still have not been replaced now 3 months after they were installed, the installation quality is horrible, the people who did it did an absolute **** poor job, it looks like a 3rd grader did the work. They used the wrong calk in the inside of the house causing a horrible installation, they should have used silicone and they used outdoor. I still have a broken screen, still has not been replaced. Communication has been non-existent. Overall im incredibly pissed i used champion and need to file a BBB complaint. Also pissed that champion corporate doesnt give a ****.
Be honest and keep your word on what you tell customers. Don't leave them hanging and waiting to hear back when they put all this money into a job that they have no idea when it'll be done. We were originally told around 3 months and didn't get the work done until 6 - 7 months later. Also workers should come on time and not leave customers waiting on them for 2 hours later without even a call letting us know why. That's what happened to us the second day they had to come back as a window was missing on first day.

If I had a complaint, the sizes of a few of the new windows were smaller than before. The finished product was good EXCEPT the caluk job needs addressed.
I strongly advise against using their services. From the salesperson to the installation, the entire process was unsatisfactory. Given the substantial amount I paid for the siding, the final result was utterly disappointing and not worth it at all.
We have had issues throughout the process. The salesman missed that our windows were shaped windows. It was caught during the measuring appointment. Then we were told the windows were too large and would have to be split into two pieces to be made. We elected to replace a different window with obscured glass. The order was written down correctly, but then clear glass was delivered from the factory, requiring another 2 month delay to get the correct pane installed.

The installation crew did an amazing job on my siding and windows, I'm very pleased with the work they did.
I had a relatively great experience with Champion Windows of Wichita. Josh was my installer and he was fabulous! I had Ryan as my person to come and quote my job. I was very impressed with him when he came. He spent a lot of time answering questions for me and worked to get me the best price. He helped me to see what a huge improvement this would be on my home. I did notice when the installers came that the things that Ryan said they'd do weren't written down so I had to specifically ask for my trim to be replaced like Ryan and I had discussed. Ryan had said he could also get the installers to wrap the trim on the corners of my house as well but that wasn't done. So overall, Ryan did a lot of talking to get me to purchase but not all that we talked about did get done.
Will not refer until I feel my feedback has been heard. Will not commit to replacing the rest of my windows until Champion windows shows me a commitment to value — this project should have been discounted due to error in measurement, but I haven’t heard been connected with anyone willing to help. The CI-team I spoke with on the phone claimed they’d leave notes for the local manager, but I’m doubtful that’ll pan out because scheduling the re-install was so poorly communicated until the last minute after much pestering from me. The installers themselves were excellent and clearly communicated.
Window quality to to expectations
I have given information to family/friends that have also purchased Champion windows and they are also pleased with their windows.
The sales person explained the virtues of Champion windows. We were impressed. Once the windows arrived, the installers got them in & trimmed out in three days. We are satisfied with every aspect of the Champion window experience.
Windows were done in one day. Couldn't be happier with the results.

We were very disappointed in the quality of installation.
Well the end result is ok everything lined up. But they had me sign off on a document and they left their scaffolding here ladders and never finished the job , my down spouts from the gutters are not back up/ plus thet had an accident on the premises as well which resulted in my fence and gate being crushed by three levels if scaffolding it blew two workers off the scaffolding and they got injured and my fence attached to my gate was crushed and my propane regulator was broken which cost out of pocket $200.00 to have fixed by propane central and the owner of the job crew said id be getting reimbursed which i never did , some joints of siding are mismatched and dont lay flat , the crew chief said they’d come back to do touchup but they haven't been seen here, since they left over two weeks ago, im about 65% satisfied with the workmanship and theres two outdoor power outlets that are still broken i bought two replacements but am leary of trying to repair the damage and replace the outlets myself. I have the knowledge but not the body to do it, as for the scaffolding accident it would have been safer if the crew had secured the scaffolding to the ground using t-post stakes and cables im a homeowner and know the weather cycles here and i warned them of impeding weather fronts coming into the area that day but i guess they didn't listen to me. Ive still git two outdoor lamps that aren't reinstalled yet and i guessing im going to have to replace them myself somehow im a military disabled veteran and have vertigo and ladders are out, i dont know how im going to fix this cause i dont think ill be seeing the champion crew again. Theres also a hammer and a battery charger and batteries still here in the garage, when i signed the document i thought they'd be back in a day or so but they haven't called or sent a letter. Then they had me call the bank and release the final payment of $5000.00 which i did so as not to make waves im just distrought over the entire mess they left me with as fir referring this franchise company to my friends or relatives im gona have to pass cause they got all the money and finished the siding but left everything else lamps laying around broken power outlets / gutter downspouts laying around. Lightening rod cables flopping in the wind left over siding material everywhere broken and bent fencing and broken promises of replacement and reimbursement for damages to propane regulator, they said they were doing a priority window job and would be back. But i think they didn't have any intention of coming back. Unless im not home so they could gather their property quietly and leave. We’re PRETTY DISAPPOINTED !!!
