I already provided lengthy remarks on a previous survey, so any remarks I make today will be fairly brief.

I definitely would recommend Buffalo Restoration to any friend, feeling quite comfortable that they would receive excellent service.

Buffalo Restoration has entered into a water problem in which a source of water had not been identified. The discovered the leak and continued to remove the effected area.

Almost 10 months to get the job done. First repair guy made a mess and did almost nothing. No follow up on progress to check on repairs. I had to call and complain. I am still waiting for Buffalo to communicate with Hartford Ins. with what I paid them so I can get reimbursed.

Everyone was nice. With that said, multiple people working on one job caused a lack of communication and follow-through. Had two different opinions of the work involved, paperwork still hasn’t been processed so our insurance company out the claim in a suspended mode until they get the paperwork.
I feel like the job should have taken a couple weeks, but almost 2 months later here we are. I had de-humidifiers running 24/7 for close to 4 weeks. I think they forgot about them, which caused our electric bill to sky rocket.
I had to probe to get work that should have been done, done.
All in all, I would not recommend to anyone.

The Buffalo Restoration team was quick to respond when we needed them. They expertly assessed the potential water damage to our building from a burst main and immediately brought in techs and equipment to completely dry out flooded areas.

The people from Buffalo Restoration are wonderful. Some of their subcontractors didn't do the work that they were supposed to do.

Communication was professional, organized, prompt, patient with lots of questions and courteous. I will definitely call them again if we have a leak or other situation that requires professional cleanup.

It is best to be involved in the decision making and maintain communication with the technicians and a manager if necessary. Always keep track of who comes to your location when and what was done.

Seems I was always calling to find out what happens next. They were a little pushy when it came to wanting a storage pod placed at the property, but I finally got through to them that I didn’t want a pod here until the flooring was in town & I had a date for it to be installed.

I was charged at least 50 percent more than I was quoted with no communication about the additional charge. This is completely unacceptable.

They are very quick to act and very clear on instructions.

After mitigation was done we found additional moisture and mold and am dealing with additional demo and damage because it wasn’t taken care of correctly the first time.

They were slow to respond to estimates, follow up information, disorganized and late with different contractors that they use, dragged on the insurance communication proceess, did not finish certain parts of the job, hard to work with.

Lacking communication.

I would recommended buffalo restorstion to others. They were through, provided me with a fair estimate, and completed the job responsibly.

My experience has not been one that I would want my friends to have. Therefore, unless there is some kind of change, I cannot recommend Buffalo Restoration to people I know.

This is our second experience with Buffalo Restoration. From the moment I first called we were treated with professionalism and efficiency. Everyone who came to the house was knowledgeable regarding the work that needed to be done. We were very satisfied with the final results.

A lot of overcharging for items that didn’t need to be done. For example when repairing walls, towel bars were removed when not in the way or in the wall being repaired just to keep the charge in the bill.

Buffalo Restoration was the first to respond to our emergency situation when our dishwasher broke and flooded the kitchen. From the first contact with them to the restoration process to billing, everyone we worked with was friendly, caring, kind and knowledgeable. The restoration team was committed to saving our old wooden floor boards so we didn't have to replace them or tear up the entire kitchen floor. And they did! So grateful for their dedication and great work ethic.

Buffalo Restoration performed all the requuirement of this project in a timely manner, as per requirements, and I would recommend them.

Super quick response time for mitigation of my issue - professional & quality workmanship. Good overall communication, estimate sheets were a bit difficult to interpret (although the Insurance company understood them).

They did a great job. They worked efficiently, did what they said they would do, and did high quality work.

You left the job at my house unfinished. It is still not complete despite half a dozen promises to come finish a job you began a year ago. You left trash and other materials, which you’ve since claimed, you left the toilet unattached (since attached) and you left the repainting an covering at the side of the bathroom unfinished, all despite charging me tens of thousand of dollars. No way to run a rodeo. And I’m still waiting for my rebate for the unfinished work.

Buffalo restoration was at our home within an hour of being called. I run a business in the space that was needing water mitigation. They did an excellent job of working with me to make sure my business could still be up and running (and fielding many questions from curious preschoolers).
