I was concerned about the safety of this project. I was standing on the ground looking up at the roof when two boards came flying down from the roof. Luckly I was about 2 feet to the right of them. in addition, I found a new nail in my yard. Since I mow my lawn, I was concerned that the nail might end up in my shoe. Although I was told that the wood was primed, it was not white. It was more of a tan color that does not match my house. The primer was more white last time there was a repair.

My recommendation is on hold until the two pending items addressed.

Jacob was my very patient designer. Lucas and Robert, my project managers were awesome! They had to communicate with me by phone, never knowing where I would be. They were always easy for me to reach. Any changes I felt were needed were immediately addressed! The entire crew went out of their way to make sure I was happy with the outcome of each and every project. I have had a roof, a Onyx shower and vanity installation, and beautiful siding installed. I live in a new home thanks to all these wonderful people. I cannot forget Mary, the scheduler, who was often just a great listener. I cannot recommend Bordner enough.

We've used Bordner for roof replacement and repair; cedar siding replacement. They did a great job for us. For major work ALWAYS get three qualified bids. There is a reason for that: comparison shop. Bordner's people are great but pricing varies widely for equal quality work.

The product is very good. The installation NOT good. There was damage to my house: front screen window ripped; small tree damaged; down spout smashed. I took photos, sent to the project manager. He ignored my messages. Someone reached out to me 6 days later asking if I'd give feedback (expecting it to be positive). I explained the situation to her. SHE got things moving and I finally got a call from the project manager who said, "Yes. I saw the photos. I showed them to my workers and they said it was like that before". Uh. NO it was not. He then said he'd be out the next day to fix it. He never showed up. I then contacted the person from whom I signed the contract and he finally got action. I don't look for perfection--it doesn't exist. I DO expect response and a company to stand by their work. Because of this project manager, I cannot recommend Bordner.

We used Bordner for our roof repair after noticing they worked on several of our neighbor’s homes. Kevin did our repairs and he is very professional and trustworthy. Bordner is not just trying to make fast money, but rather they are interested in your long term business and satisfaction.

Troy Wahlborg was a very strong reason we got our roof covered by our insurance Co. He was here every time they came out to inspect. He was knowledgeable, professional, and courteous to us throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend him and Bordner roofing.

I needed some wood rot repair done and the workers showed up without a written plan for what they were supposed to do. They gave me misinformation about whether or not gutter guards were included. The next day they called to say they were coming out to install the gutters before I had a chance to repaint the replaced wood.

I would gladly and confidently recommend this company.

No one that speaks English was here that day, and they left their sign in my yard for months. I called them 3 times and they finally got it. It took 4 months to come and get it. If they are going to put a sign in my yard without my permission, they need to take it when asked.

Bordner Home Improvement is professional, friendly, and very careful and detailed in what they do. They take their time to make their estimates, and the customer service staff members are very responsive. We had a roof done by them a few years ago and had a minor issue that they responded to quickly. Their estimates are reasonably priced as well and are right down the middle compared to other companies we looked at.

We were sold on a project that would take a couple days, instead it was months from start to finish, using a 3rd party to intall the glass walls and door. We were sold on being able to easily add a shower door later. Instead it significantly increased the cost. The workmanship was excellent, but the bait and switch once the work had started means that I’ll never do a project with Bordner again.

Bordner coordinated our very large project which included repair of extensive wood rot and installation of new windows, siding, and gutters. Because of a significant delay in the availability of the siding we had selected, the project took much longer than expected overall. However, in general Bordner stayed on top of things and located a new type of siding for us. Communication could have been better though. The workmanship and work ethic of the laborers were excellent.
