I'm giving it 2 with an expectation that work will be completed well. As of right now, the only work that has been accomplished is the removal of materials and (some) clean up. I say "some" because we were told that the walls behind the cabinets were cleaned and hepa vacuumed. However, after more exploration on our part, we found more water damage and mold behind the walls, so we removed those ourselves.
Also, communication with BluSky has been very poor.
For example, we initiated contact in July of 2025. After an initial visit in the next week by a member of BluSky, he informed us that he would be on vacation the next week. But then we were informed that he was no longer with the company. I was informed that another person would be assigned, but even that work was slow. In actuality, it felt like almost all of August and September were a waste. I tried to get answers about the cost and scope of work, also including the insurance claims adjuster, but it seemed like conversations about cost and scope were happening - but I did not know much of anything about them, nor was I aware of what sort of next steps I could take to help move things along.
Finally, towards the end of September, some movement happened when someone from a local cabinet company came to take measurements and we had to initiate the process for more payment to meet the current prices. Honestly, I feel like I've had more answers and communication with the representative from Hampton's than from BluSky.
At this point, we're waiting for the cabinets to be delivered. I have no idea so far how this fits into the schedule and project management of BluSky.
Very professional. Everything done exactly as what was describe
I liked that they showed up when scheduled.
They responded to all details. Very satisfied.
BluSky Restoration was wonderful from the first call to the closing and every step in between. There was a wonderful woman that I unfortunately cannot remember the name of, and I also forgot the names of the mitigation people. Everyone was so polite and explained everything so clearly. It was old school high quality and knowledgeable help, and it was wonderufl. Chris came to do the drying and explained every single step. Then the last gentleman explained the remaining steps. Everybody was wonderful. This is a great example of Central Illinois and Midwestern values and great adherance to high standards.
They responded very quickly and are very professional.
BlueSky was extremely helpful during such a difficult time. My calls where answered eveytime with a helpful and cheerful person on the other end. They provide great service and helpful insights on improving my home. Never once did I feel like I was being a pain or asking for to much.
Not happy on work and how long it taking.
Very prompt and efficient

It took almost one year for something to be completed when they said it would be completed in six months, and they continue to push back the completion of my house rebuild.

On time, Kyle was a very thorough and thoughtful employee. All work and cleanup completed!

Mark was a fantastic job lead. He made sure that the jobs were done correctly and up to standards, working with the other contractors to ensure smooth communication between us and them.
Job completed in a timely manner.
They are professional, knowledgeable, and friendly in doing restoration.
Overall, good job taking care of everything. They kept us informed of everything, and the price was reasonable for what we got.
BluSky Restoration got there very, very quickly. I hope to never have a house fire again, but if we do, they would be our recommended.
Fast, professional service. The representative we worked with was very knowledgeable and helped us feel at ease
Came quickly and made sure it was completely dry.

I do not have a comment.
Great Team who did a great job - I would highly recommend
Team was great
Excellent people to work with!
Overall it was a very good experience with the actual BlueSky team. The company used to remove a supposed asbestos-positive floor was very unprofessional, did not communicate well, and left a mess (which seems to defeat the purpose of having specialists removing asbestos positive flooring and subfloor). I know this is out of the control of BlueSky but the companies they contract with is in their control, so moving away from that third-party contractor would be in BlueSky's best interest.
Very professional kept us informed and responded to our need quickly
Leak happened on Christmas eve. I'm still waiting to get a final itemized list that I was promised so I can make sure everything was done as per agreed upon. I signed my certified order of completion weeks ago. I contacted the product manager Sean Stokes and was told the job manager, mark, has been gone on surgery. That was beginning of August. Sean also said that he was gone out of the country for a while. His voicemail said he was back on August 7th. Not very happy with the runaround I'm getting. I am still waiting for the final itemized list. My insurance adjuster has also asked about it so that we can do final payment, but I'm only going to pay for what was done. Bad enough that my wife had to fold up the tarps for the painter when he just decided to leave one day. We were promised that workers would clean up, but my wife and I were the ones vacuuming and cleaning up the floor. Not happy.
The painter was very good. The paint job looks great. Things were cleaned up and all was left the way I or you would have expected it to be.
