Very prompt n Rachel was great to work with
BluSky was excellent - every single person that worked on this project was professional and friendly
.
In almost ever phase. Two examples, the our woodwork was supposed to match our flooring. IT DOES NOT. We understand stain works differently on different woods. BUT not this differently. When we protested we were told there was nothing they could really do. A second example is the kitchen island. My wife very specifically told our project manager where she wanted the island BUT it was installed in a different spot b/c he thought it "looked" better there. My wife had REAL reasons why she wanted the island where she envisioned it. Instead we had to pay the electrician an extra 200 dollars to move a light fixture over. It is not perfect but it is better than it was. There are so many other items that we were forced to swallow so they could finish the project. but we kind of live in fear about the "next" thing that will go wrong
Based on the finished result, I would consider recommending BluSky. Based on the colossal amount of screw-ups during the project, I'm going to need a little more time before I can feel good about doing that. .
The team was in and out within 2 hours. It was an awful mess, nasty, but they left it looking new. The team were professionals! Thanks to Jordan, Todd, Mo, and Chris!!
BluSky Restoration did a very good job. I was very pleased with them.
I have found blusky to be very helpful, prompt with response, and most importantly reliable (once they start something they will finish it) and with the highest quality of work.
They were great to work with and did a great job
I already have recommended it to some people.

My name is Todd Mullins. We used your company when selling our home. I believe this survey may have been intended for Toni Cassidy who was the home buyer. Nonetheless, this gives me an opportunity to share our experience.
No-nonsense assessment and reasonable pricing. Dan was very professional and was not there to sell us on a bunch of stuff that we didn't need. That type of integrity is sadly rare these days. I've shared our experience with others already. Thank you.
Overall BluSky did a nice job. They had a timeline and was able to keep it close to the finished date.
I was a little floored that they charge you travel time to get to your home. I didn't really care for that. One other issue is that they said they were in our home for two hours, and there were two times that they were only in our home 20 minutes tops, and I have a camera that shows all of that.
Patrick, Jared & John were very professional in handling our situation. The work was done quickly and professionally with consideration for our property. I would definitely use them again.
I am absolutely likely to recommend BluSky Restoration to a friend. Dan and Bruce are the best.
BluSky maintained regular communication with us, keeping us informed of next steps!
Blah
I'm giving it 2 with an expectation that work will be completed well. As of right now, the only work that has been accomplished is the removal of materials and (some) clean up. I say "some" because we were told that the walls behind the cabinets were cleaned and hepa vacuumed. However, after more exploration on our part, we found more water damage and mold behind the walls, so we removed those ourselves.
Also, communication with BluSky has been very poor.
For example, we initiated contact in July of 2025. After an initial visit in the next week by a member of BluSky, he informed us that he would be on vacation the next week. But then we were informed that he was no longer with the company. I was informed that another person would be assigned, but even that work was slow. In actuality, it felt like almost all of August and September were a waste. I tried to get answers about the cost and scope of work, also including the insurance claims adjuster, but it seemed like conversations about cost and scope were happening - but I did not know much of anything about them, nor was I aware of what sort of next steps I could take to help move things along.
Finally, towards the end of September, some movement happened when someone from a local cabinet company came to take measurements and we had to initiate the process for more payment to meet the current prices. Honestly, I feel like I've had more answers and communication with the representative from Hampton's than from BluSky.
At this point, we're waiting for the cabinets to be delivered. I have no idea so far how this fits into the schedule and project management of BluSky.
Very professional. Everything done exactly as what was describe
I liked that they showed up when scheduled.
They responded to all details. Very satisfied.
BluSky Restoration was wonderful from the first call to the closing and every step in between. There was a wonderful woman that I unfortunately cannot remember the name of, and I also forgot the names of the mitigation people. Everyone was so polite and explained everything so clearly. It was old school high quality and knowledgeable help, and it was wonderufl. Chris came to do the drying and explained every single step. Then the last gentleman explained the remaining steps. Everybody was wonderful. This is a great example of Central Illinois and Midwestern values and great adherance to high standards.
They responded very quickly and are very professional.
