Be more genuine in the home buying process. Not act overly fake and happy in the beginning to later not even make eye contact with you when you walk out of signing with Impact Title.

Check your work before putting it on the market. Crooked doors, sagging cabinets, damaged doors, handles not lined up, drawers pulling out crooked… Just to mention some of the things a little more shocking vs regular missed chalk lines and paint.

I really enjoyed being involved from the beginning and choosing my options and then seeing the house go from dirt to closing. The team was attentive to my concerns, and the house turned out great!

Smooth process

Communicate clearly the Flex Cash options needed to be selected before closing and installed.

The entire experience was amazing.

Friendly people but Both bettenbough and our lender let us down and pushed back closing. We told both at the beginning multiple times and have it confirmed in emails that we would be using some of our flex cash for rent, but both told us that that was the other's job to take care of. Well closing came and we had to push it back because no one took care of business and contacted the apartments. We went back and forth and eventually had to use the money for something different to prevent the closing being pushed back further. They left a pin on our thermostat so we were not able to adjust it for over 24 hours on a hot day. There was also not resource for it we just had to call the warranty team after hours and they eventually got back with us.

Betenbough Homes is accessible. The homes are large and comfortable.

Process was simple. Communication was great.

There are lots of things I am unhappy with. The door knobs have locks on them and they backwards. Someone left the water softer lid open and insulation fell inside, and I had to get it cleaned. I was told on the final walkthrough they would be done, but half of them were not done. I had to follow up with them once I closed. The communication is not very good. I call them, and most of the time they don't call you back. There are no lights in the closets, I have had seven houses and this is the first house that hasn't had a light in the closets. In the shower there is no caulking, and where the panel is at, the water hits directly on the wall. Before I closed he was going to move the rock in the front yard because it was the bottom of the barrel rock, and just a bunch of dirt, and he was supposed to have it fixed before the walkthrough. I had to wait because I had to go to closing right away. Also, there are no door stoppers, and the door hits right into the wall.
