Overall, I would say we're happy with the home, but professionally, I don't really like how betenbough does business. I don't like the fact that you've set up your business plan to punish a homebuyer if they are unhappy about something that one of your employees did. It's chickenshit and unAmerican and you need to teach these young kids that you have hired that not every day is going to be a bowl of cherries and that sometimes when they screw up, they need to own it. And they also need to understand that when a customer is unhappy about something, and it's something they did or didn't do or promised and didn't follow through on, that they need to be responsible and mature enough to own that.

It would be 5 stars, but sales team ran a promotion for appliances in upland crossing and advised we were not able to get the appliances because we went under contract before the promotion started. The promotion advertisement did not stipulate that.

I highly recommend BH Homes not only for first-time homebuyers but also for anyone looking for a new home in Lubbock. The houses are modern and well-designed—significantly better than similar builders who also claim to build affordable homes. I especially appreciate the spacious living room design, while the bedrooms are not compromised in size—offering good proportions based on the floor plans and homes I reviewed. Additionally, BH employs many women in customer-facing roles, which is a fantastic contribution to the Lubbock job market. They are professional and respond to all questions clearly and promptly.

I highly recommend the betenbough team, there work is awesome and the process on closing was done in time. The house is very well built and the quality of work us top notch.
