I highly recommend BH Homes not only for first-time homebuyers but also for anyone looking for a new home in Lubbock. The houses are modern and well-designed—significantly better than similar builders who also claim to build affordable homes. I especially appreciate the spacious living room design, while the bedrooms are not compromised in size—offering good proportions based on the floor plans and homes I reviewed. Additionally, BH employs many women in customer-facing roles, which is a fantastic contribution to the Lubbock job market. They are professional and respond to all questions clearly and promptly.

I think it’ll end up being a good home, however I think there is a bit more that could’ve been done to make things better, even if I was the one fitting the bill.

As a first time home buyer, I felt very comfortable throughout the entire process. Layne, Aaron, and Michael were very informative and I never felt like I was being kept in the dark about any aspect of my purchase. The quality of the home is great and I believe anyone would agree!

I felt like we were lied to by Betenbough Homes. I believe the quality of the home is inferior.

Would not recommend because of poor workmanship & Service. They have been willing to come out and look at whatever I have but they are not going to look at the house for additional issues, they want me to place a tape on whatever I find and call them back. I would be calling them every week. I shouldn’t have to do their job. (I.e. I called to have them look at floor panel that had glue on it, they fixed it but I have found many more. They could have easily found them if they had only taken the time to inspect the floor).
And when they came to replace the counter top in my bathroom, they messed up the wall. This was done by the supervisor who also told me he would get back to me regarding paint drips on my Kitchen bar but I never heard back from him. I don’t have confidence calling them back out.
