Best Pick Report has changed. I referred BPR to a friend and they had a very bad bad experience.
The new pricing model penalizes taking days off. Our industry is too complex for an answering service and we care too much about the quality, so we are not willing to use your answering service.
I trust the people Best Pick recommends as they actually speak to homeowners that have used their services and get a real valid review from them. They do not keep companies that have constant negative reviews and will stand by their work. You don't see that from other companies. I always know when I need something done at my house where to go to find a company that will be reliable.
Natural the price is worth the product
The new pricing model appears to only benefit Guild Quality. I think there are now better avenues for ad spend.
the price went up alot
I believe it’s very expensive per lead cost and isn’t realistic for a service business like mine
We considered not renewing. The quality of the leads has decreased, the cost has increased. We are being charged for leads that we do not consider to be valid charges.
New billing is ridiculous, and I think you will lose many smaller companies before even starting.
The publication is now being mailed to not so affluent neighborhoods.
Poor follow-up on contested leads.
The program is relatively low cost and the leads convert into sales. We are able to show ourselves as a known reputable company and consumers trust the book in this way.
The lack of leads and BP wanting me to pay for "leads" that aren't "leads"
Best Picks has been a reliable lead source since we started advertising with them.
While we receive a large amount of leads from Best Pick, the ROI is marginal. Many of the leads are low quality and when I track revenue earned from these leads, the cost is higher than I would like it.
I will recommend Best Pick Reports to anyone because every company listed must qualify every year.
I recommend using the book for the services in the book but the pricing and paying for calls in other states and services we don’t provide isn’t ideal to recommend business to advertise with BP
You don't offer it in Portland, OR which is where I live.
Would recommend with multiple warnings and cautions
Not many leads. Communication with rep is difficult.
We unfortunately have had problems with our campaigns. The results we've seen so far don't quite align with what we hoped they'd be.
Biggest pet peeve is that if someone calls at the end of one month and beginning of the next still get charged twice
Costs keep rising but not quality. Attempting to charge for sending extra books, and I still don't care for the monthly charge. Its a pain getting bad leads credited.
I don't believe I would recommend. Between the small amount of leads we get and the continued rising costs each year, I don't think it is worth it. I've also had continued issues with delays in invoicing after requesting a credit. Some of the credit calls I'm asking for are pretty obvious too, people out of our area or telemarketers (we get at least one a month for that). I've had to wait numerous months to get an updated invoice so that we can pay it and I can accurately report on costs. It's been very frustrating and I've not continued the agreement but there is a roll off period so we are still dealing with the frustrations for a few more months.
Has become our 3rd top lead source for a very attractive price per lead and price per sale
